INVERSION MAINTENANCE DEVICE FOR DENTAL HANDPIECES
An inversion maintenance device has a case, an inverting mechanism, and a control system. The case forms an inversion space. The inverting mechanism has an inverting base and multiple adapting modules. The inverting base is pivotally mounted in the inversion space. The adapting modules are mounted on the inverting base. Each of the adapting modules has an adapting port. The inverting base is capable of inverting to make the adapting port face downward and cover the inversion space. Dental handpieces can be mounted on the adapting modules. The control system has a control module and an operation input terminal. The operation input terminal is electrically connected to the control module and is capable of controlling the control module to inject a working fluid with pressure into the dental handpiece via the adapting module.
Process for providing a dental article
A process for providing a sterilized dental article, at least a portion of the surface of which exhibiting a contact angle of less than 45°. The process includes the subsequent steps of a) providing a dental article and b) subjecting the initial dental article to a hydrogen peroxide plasma treatment. It is characterized in that the hydrogen peroxide plasma sterilization treatment of step b) is carried out in the presence of a carbon-containing compound, which during treatment is converted to form a carboxylic group attached to the surface of the dental article.
SMART OIL SPRAY ADAPTER
Provided is an adapter for connection to a spray can dispensing an oil-containing aerosol. The adapter comprises a timepiece configured to measure a predetermined time interval, the starting point of the time measurement being defined by the start of a spraying process of the spray can; and an indicating element configured to indicate to the user, once the predetermined time interval has expired, to end the spraying process. Also provided is a method for manually reprocessing a medical device.
WIPING DEVICE FOR DENTAL TOOLS
A wiping device for dental tools includes an adjustable wristband configured to be worn around a wrist of a user, and a scaler platform presenting a generally widened expanse, mounted to the wristband. The scaler platform includes a surface suitably configured to receive a wiping material in a position accessible by the user. Advantageously, the scaler platform is positioned forward of the wristband, so as to overlay the back of a hand of the user.
DENTAL HANDPIECE WITH EMBEDDED WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE
A dental handpiece includes a head portion supporting a turbine for a removable rotating dental tool, and a handle portion having an internal cavity. One or more conduits extend at least partially through the internal cavity toward the head portion. At least one of the conduits is a drive fluid tube delivering drive fluid to the head portion for rotating the turbine. A wireless communication device within the internal cavity is attached to at least one of the conduits. At least a section of the handle portion surrounding the wireless communication device is formed of a dielectric material. The wireless communication device is configured to wirelessly communicate with an external reader or writer and store data related to at identification, use, and/or maintenance of the handpiece. An electrically inert substrate material encapsulates the wireless communication device, which is electrically isolated from other components of the handpiece.
AUTOMATIC ORAL SENSOR STERILIZING AND PACKAGING SYSTEM
The present invention relates to an automatic oral sensor sterilizing and packaging system and, particularly, to an automatic oral sensor sterilizing and packaging system capable of automatically sterilizing an oral sensor and further packaging the oral sensor with disposable wrapping paper, comprising: a housing including a sterilization unit providing a sterilization region for sterilization of the oral sensor and/or a packaging unit providing a packaging region for packaging the oral sensor; and a transfer unit for making the oral sensor pass through at least one of the sterilization region and the packaging region.
Method for Cleaning and Lubricating Medical/Dental Devices for Sterilization
A method of cleaning and lubricating a detached device within a sealed heat sterilizable container during the process of heat sterilization by using a liquid admixture comprised of a water-alcohol-glycerin-chlorhexidine solution.
Dental cleaning system and method of using same
A dental cleaning system includes a cylindrical body with a first portion and a second portion. A cleaning portion is positioned within the second portion and includes a cavity to enable the cleaning portion to at least partially enclose a dental implant device. The cylindrical body rotates such that the cleaning portion therein rotates to clean at least a portion of the dental implant device. A projection extends outwardly from a surface of the cleaning portion such that the projection is positioned within the cavity. The projection removes debris from at least a portion of the dental implant device when the cylindrical body rotates. A plurality of cleaning protrusions extend outwardly from a sidewall of the cavity such that the cleaning protrusions at least partially circumscribe the projection. The cleaning protrusions remove the debris from at least a portion of the dental implant device when the cylindrical body rotates.
CONTAINER FOR STORING A DENTAL, ESPECIALLY ENDODONTIC INSTRUMENT, KIT AND METHOD
The present invention relates to a kit comprising
an endodontic instrument in the form of an endodontic file and
a container with a lower container part, for receiving the working section (3c) of the endodontic instrument, and an upper container part, for receiving the upper axial end region of the instrument,
wherein a holder is provided on the upper side of the lower container part, which holder comprises an axial through-opening through which the working section of the instrument is inserted into the lower container part and in which the instrument, in particular the tool shaft of the instrument, is fixed in a clamping manner,
wherein the upper container part is connected with the lower container part in an airtight manner to form the container, and the interior of the container and the instrument are sterile.
AUTOMATIC ACTIVATION OF FLUSHING MODE IN DENTAL SYSTEMS
A method for automatically initiating a dental handpiece waterline flushing mode in a dental delivery system comprises detecting whether at least first and second handpiece waterlines from a plurality of handpiece waterlines are removed from respective first and second rest positions of a control head for the dental delivery system. According to some implementations, if it is determined that no additional dental handpiece waterline which is flushable remains in a rest position of the control head, then the dental handpiece waterline flushing mode is automatically initiated for the first and second dental handpiece waterlines. In some implementations, a display is updated to provide information to a user, and an input from the user is received to begin flushing.
