Holder For Dental Instruments
A holder for dental hygiene instruments is disclosed. The holder is removably attachable to the forearm of a dental hygienist to facilitate access to dental instruments while cleaning teeth. The holder includes a main body having an attachment piece affixed thereto for removable attachment of an instrument tray having the instruments removably attached thereto.
Utility Rings For Dental Hygiene
The invention is an assortment of apparatuses to magnetically tether a dental hygienist's hand to the utility tubes and hoses commonly found in a dental office. In a preferred embodiment, this is a ring containing a magnet which is worn by the hygienist. This tethers him or her finger to a utility hose or tube, which has a clasp that contains a reciprocal magnet. In another embodiment, the invention is a finger hold which contains a magnet that tether to the utility hose or tube via the magnetized clasp.
ENDODONTIC FILE HOLDER
An endodontic file holder includes a wearing member worn on a part of the body; a holder body mounted on the outer side of the wearing member, having an inner side in which an accommodating space for accommodating a sponge is formed, and having openings through which the sponge accommodated in the accommodating space is exposed; a sponge inserted inside of the accommodating space formed in the holder body, wherein an endodontic file is inserted into the sponge; and a length measuring means provided in the holder body and configured to measure the length of an endodontic file, wherein at least one medicine receiving groove for accommodating a medicine for dental treatment to be applied to an endodontic file is formed on the upper surface of the holder body.
WIPING DEVICE FOR DENTAL TOOLS
A wiping device for dental tools includes an adjustable wristband configured to be worn around a wrist of a user, and a scaler platform presenting a generally widened expanse, mounted to the wristband. The scaler platform includes a surface suitably configured to receive a wiping material in a position accessible by the user. Advantageously, the scaler platform is positioned forward of the wristband, so as to overlay the back of a hand of the user.
Finger mountable dental hand piece device
The present invention relates to a finger mountable flexible dental hand-piece device. In one embodiment the hand piece device comprises of: a head portion and a body portion, wherein the head portion and the body portion are engaged by a flexible joint to provide flexible movement for the head portion. The head portion defines a head enclosed in a head shell, where the head shell is accompanied by a first finger band which is stipulated on the top of the head shell. The body portion has a first end and a second end; the first end of the body portion is to engage with the head portion, wherein there is a second finger band which is stipulated on the top of the body portion.
Intra-oral light-therapy apparatuses and methods for their use
In some embodiments, an apparatus comprises a housing, an emitter, and an electronic circuit. The housing is configured to fit within a patient's mouth. The emitter is at least partially encased within the housing. The emitter is configured to emit an effective amount of light to the alveolar soft tissue when the housing is disposed within the mouth. The electronic circuit is operatively coupled to the emitter. The electronic circuit is configured to control the emitter when the housing is disposed within the mouth and the apparatus is in use during orthodontic treatment. The apparatus and its use for regulating tooth movement or maintaining or improving oral tissue health are disclosed herein.
Prophy Paste Container and Supports Therefor
An elongated prophy paste container has a length at least twice the width to receive a prophy cup therein and facilitate the loading of prophy paste thereon for use in a prophy operation. The elongated container can be formed with optional detent members at the opposing ends of the container to engage indents in a corresponding support member to retain the container in engagement with the support member during use of the container. The support member can be configured to mount onto a dental instrument or to incorporate a stand that can sit on a flat surface. The configuration of the support member for mounting on a dental instrument can have a dual receiver configuration to engage dental instruments with different diameters. The configuration of the support member incorporating a stand can be formed with an elongated neck to permit positioning thereof between the fingers of the dental hygienist.
BONE GRAFT CARRIER
A bone graft carrier has a body. The body has a containing portion, a conveying portion, and an opening. The containing portion is formed at one of two ends of the body and has a chamber. The conveying portion is formed at the other one of the two ends of the body, is tapered, is connected to the containing portion, and has a delivery channel communicating with the chamber of the containing portion. The opening is formed through a top surface of the body and directly communicates with the chamber of the containing portion and the delivery channel of the conveying portion.
Modular workspace platform system, accessories therefor, and associated methods
A modular workspace platform system for providing a mobile work surface for a user includes a workspace platform attachable to a location specified by the user. The workspace platform includes a compact work surface for use in performing at least one manual task including temporarily storing a material, mixing two or more materials, temporarily supporting a tool, and providing a tool cleaning surface. In an embodiment, the compact work surface includes at least one of a trough, a tapered channel, a tool insertion slot, a wipe holder, a textured surface configured as the tool cleaning surface, a mixing surface a ruler holder, and a matrix ring holder.

Aspects of the present invention relate to a storage tray for storing dental components. The storage tray comprises a plurality of compartments arranged along an arc representative of a dental arch, each compartment corresponding to the position of a respective tooth on the dental arch.
