Orthodontic bracket
An orthodontic bracket is provided, including a main body, a cover, and an elastic spring element. The main body has an archwire slot configured to receive an archwire. The cover is hingedly connected to the main body, and the cover can be moved between an open position and a closed position. The open position exposes the archwire slot and the closed position covers the archwire slot. The elastic spring element is disposed in the main body, coupled to the cover and the main body, and configured to generate a force that moves the cover into the open position.
SELF-LIGATING BRACKET, DOUBLE-WING SPACING ADJUSTABLE BRACKET AND DENTAL APPLIANCE
The present disclosure provides a self-ligating bracket, a double-wing spacing adjustable bracket and a dental appliance. The self-ligating bracket includes: a bracket base plate; a first end of a first elastic support is connected to the bracket base plate; a bracket body is a hollow structure, a second end of the first elastic support is connected to a distal end of the bracket body, and the distal end of the bracket body is provided with a gap and the distal end of the bracket body is expanded radially by the second end of the first elastic support; and a position-limited member is movable in an axial direction of the bracket body, and the position-limited member is sleeved on an outside of the bracket body for overcoming expansive force provided by the elastic supports and making the bracket body contract along a radial direction.
Rotating clip orthodontic bracket
The present invention is directed to a locking orthodontic bracket that contains a mechanism that rotationally locks an orthodontic archwire fully or partially within the bracket archwire slot. The orthodontic bracket has a body containing a slot to receive an orthodontic archwire, wings for tying ligature wires, a base that is attachable to an orthodontic band or directly to a tooth surface and a central recess in the front surface of the body that contains the rotating clip device. The rotating clip device is rotated to enclose an orthodontic archwire within the slot.
Orthodontic device
An orthodontic device can include a bracket configured to support an orthodontic wire. The orthodontic device can include a locking assembly coupled to the bracket and switchable between a plurality of operational modes. The plurality of operational modes can comprise a first sliding mode in which the orthodontic wire is slidable relative to the bracket and a second locked mode in which the orthodontic wire is slidably locked relative to the bracket.
Adjustable-prescription orthodontic brackets
Adjustable-prescription orthodontic brackets that include a bracket body, a repositionable core that defines an archwire slot, and a core positioning assembly. The bracket body defines a core receptacle into which the core is received and selectively moved within a plurality of prescriptive orientations. The core positioning assembly is selectively transitioned between a disengaged configuration, in which the core positioning assembly permits movement of the core relative to the bracket body within the plurality of prescriptive orientations, and an engaged configuration, in which the core positioning assembly retains the core at the selected prescriptive orientation. The core positioning assembly includes a core clamp with a core engagement surface configured to be selectively engaged with the core, and an actuator configured to selectively secure the core clamp in engagement with the core to retain the core at the selected prescriptive orientation.
Ultra-adaptable orthodontic system
An orthodontic bracket may include a housing portion having a first channel extending from a first end to a second end through the housing portion. The first channel is configured to slidably receive an archwire therethrough. The bracket also include a body portion configured to be received within the housing portion. The housing portion is configured to rotatably mount to the body portion about a first axis and a second axis. The first axis may be in an apico-coronal direction of the tooth. The second axis may be in a buccopalatal direction of the tooth. The bracket further includes a base portion configured to attach to a surface of the tooth. The body portion is configured to slidably mount on the base portion along the apico-coronal direction of the tooth.
Orthodontic Brackets
An orthodontic bracket comprising: a base having a rear surface and a front surface, the rear surface configured to be adhered to a surface of a tooth (outside/labial and/or inside/lingual) in use; and an archwire holder which is rotationally mounted to the front surface of the base, the archwire holder being configured to be rotatable around an axis which is perpendicular to the base to within +/−30°, wherein the archwire holder comprises at least one slot configured to hold an archwire in use, and wherein the archwire holder is rotatable for receiving the archwire and applying a desired amount and/or orientation of tip and/or torque to the tooth in use.
ORTHODONTIC BRACKET SYSTEM
A package opener comprises a handle having a first half and a second half. A plurality of blade cartridges are sandwiched between the first half and the second half, wherein the plurality of blade cartridges include at least one package opening blade cartridge, at least dual blade cartridge, and at least one envelope cutting blade cartridge. The package opening blade cartridge is configured at an operative bottom end of the handle. The dual blade cartridge is configured at an operative rear end of the handle. The envelope cutting blade cartridge is configured at an operative front end of the handle.
TWIST-LOCK ORTHODONTIC POST
An orthodontic post and pin system for secure attachment of a dental appliance to an alignment wire, which also facilitates quick and easy removal and replacement. The system described herein uses a “twist-lock” dental post that is rotated onto, and counter-rotated off of, an alignment wire. The dental post includes structural elements to facilitate the twist-lock functionality, as well as structures for accepting a fastener to secure the alignment wire in place and inhibit unintentional or undesired dislodging.
