A dental implant has a core manufactured in metal and a sleeve having an internal wall and nested by sliding on an upper part of the core in such a manner that the internal wall is located faced to that upper part of the core, which sleeve is manufactured from ceramic or Peek, a gap being left between the core and the internal wall of the sleeve in such a manner that an adhesive layer can be lodged in a space formed by the presence of that gap, wherein said gap has a distance situated between 5 and 30 μm, in particular between 10 and 20 μm.

A moldable medical membrane is provided, which includes a compact layer and a porous layer. The compact layer is formed from a first material. The porous layer is disposed on the compact layer, and the porous layer is formed from a second material. The moldable medical membrane has a moldable temperature range. A melting point of the compact layer is within the moldable temperature range, and a melting point of the porous layer is higher than the moldable temperature range.

The zirconia sintered body contains 4 mol % to 7 mol % of yttria as stabilizer. The zirconia sintered body contains shielding material. The zirconia sintered body comprises first region and second region having a higher content ratio of the shielding material than the first region. Difference between content ratio of yttria in the first region and that of yttria in the second region is 1 mol % or less.

A dental prosthesis to be integrated into a jaw bone cavity of a pre-identified patient. An example of a dental prosthesis includes a first manufactured portion having a surface shaped to substantially dimensionally conform three dimensionally to an undersized shape of the outer three-dimensional surface shape of a root of a tooth to be replaced, and a second manufactured portion shaped to substantially conform to the three-dimensional surface of a crown of the tooth. The outer surface of the root portion can include or be coated with a biocompatible material that is suitable to be integrated into the extraction socket and adopted by existing tissue forming the socket.

Disclosed herein is an article comprising a first screw and a second screw, the first screw being reversibly attached to the second screw such that a longitudinal axis of the first screw coincides with or is parallel to a longitudinal axis of the second screw; the first screw and the second screw each comprising a biodegradable composition, the biodegradable composition comprising a metal or metal alloy comprising magnesium, strontium, zinc, calcium or a combination comprising at least one of the foregoing. Methods of making and using the article are also disclosed herein.
DENTAL IMPLANT INCLUDING CERAMIC FIXTURE
The present invention relates to a dental implant, and more particularly, to a dental implant including a fixture 10, an abutment 30 coupled to an upper end of the fixture 10, and an abutment fixing screw 40 coupling the abutment 30 to the fixture 10. The fixture 10 is molded of ceramic and includes a screw part 13 disposed on an outer circumferential surface and a screw hole 14, to which the abutment fixing screw 40 is coupled, disposed in a central axis direction. A helical coil 20 is disposed between the screw hole 14 of the fixture 10 and the abutment fixing screw 40 to couple an outer portion 21a of the helical coil 20 to a screw valley 14a of the screw hole 14 of the ceramic fixture 10 and an inner portion 21b to a valley 41a of the screw part 41 of the abutment fixing screw 40 in a screw coupling manner.
CONNECTION STRUCTURE OF POROUS SURFACE STRUCTURE AND SUBSTRATE, PREPARATION METHOD FOR CONNECTION STRUCTURE, AND PROSTHESIS
The present invention discloses a connected structure of a porous surface structure and a substrate, a method for preparing the same, and a prosthesis of the same. The connected structure consists of a pre-connected or integrally formed composite body of a porous surface structure and an intermediate; and a substrate, which is connected to said intermediate to achieve the connection of said composite body to the said substrate; the composite body comprising a first composite region corresponding to a first stiffness; a remaining composite region in the composite body other than the first composite region, which at least contains a second composite region corresponding to a second stiffness; and the first stiffness is less than the second stiffness. The present invention achieves a fastened connection between the composite and the substrate and largely maintains the mechanical properties of the substrate; and it provides a prosthesis with excellent bone ingrowth properties and that the strength of the substrate is not substantially affected.
Dental implants with markers for determining three-dimensional positioning
Dental implants including radiopaque markers provided therein or thereon. The implant may also include customizable length characteristics. For example, a kit may include implants with different diameters (e.g., 3 diameters), where all of the implants are of a single (e.g., long) length. The appropriate diameter implant may be selected from the kit by the practitioner, and the long length implant may be cut (e.g., with a dental drill) to the appropriate length needed. The implants include radiopaque markers on or within the implant. For example, three series of markers may be provided on different “faces” of the implant, so that the three series of markers serve as reference points when scanning, allowing triangulation of the exact position of the implant in relation to the surrounding hard and soft oral tissues.

The present invention is related to a dental implant comprising at least a lower part and at least an upper part; wherein said lower part of the dental im-plant, which is adapted to be connected to the jawbone of a patient, is made of an at least first material; wherein said upper part of the dental implant, which is adapted to be connected to the lower part of the dental implant, is made of an at least second material; and wherein the upper surface of the upper part of the dental implant is adapted to be aligned with the upper surface of the jawbone of a patient; wherein said at least first material is different from said at least second material; wherein the at least second material of the upper part of the implant is made of a ceramic material, and wherein said ceramic material comprises zirco-nium dioxide comprising at least one coloring additive. The present invention is further related to a dental restoration system com-prising at least such an inventive dental implant and at least an abutment, wherein the abutment is adapted to be connected to the dental implant, and wherein the abutment is made of at least a third material; wherein the abutment is made of a ceramic material, and wherein said ceramic material comprises zirconium dioxide comprising at least one coloring additive.
