APPARATUS AND METHOD OF AN OSTEOTOMY FOR DENTAL IMPLANT
The present disclosure relates to a method of manufacture of a dental implant for a molar, including acquiring, structural data corresponding to bones of the facial skeleton, the bones of the facial skeleton being proximate the molar, selecting, as a dental implant fixation surface, a surface of the bones based upon a determined thickness of the bones, generating, based on the selected dental implant fixation surface, a contoured surface of the dental implant, and fabricating, based upon an instruction transmitted by processing circuitry, a bone plate extending from a buccal end of a cylindrical plate of the dental implant, the cylindrical plate having support lattices extending therefrom, at least one support lattice of the support lattices being arranged on a lingual end of the cylindrical plate, the cylindrical plate having an opening in a central region thereof, the opening being configured to receive a dental post.
Subperiosteal dental implant
The present disclosure concerns a subperiosteal dental implant for receiving at least one replacement tooth of a patient, the subperiosteal dental implant comprising an implant frame superposable to at least a section of a jaw hone of the patient, the implant frame having a bone-facing surface at least partially contacting the jaw hone of the patient when the implant frame is superposed thereto, and an opposed gum-facing surface, the implant frame having at least a section along which a cross-section profile includes a base defining at least partially the bone-facing surface and at least partially the gum-facing surface, a ridge protruding from the base and defining at least partially the gum-facing surface, and a first shoulder and a second shoulder that are both defined on the gum-facing surface of the base, each one being located on a respective side of the ridge.
FASTENER AND METHOD OF INSTALLATION
The invention is a fastener for medical or dental use which requires minimal preparation of a site in bone. According to one embodiment the fastener includes a shank and a head having an aperture with a torque-receiving aperture such as a threaded hole or a polygon such as a hex-sided hole. The other end of the shank is a blunt or a sharp point. Another embodiment includes a radially spaced apart series of splines each having a linearly spaced apart series of barbs. An alternative embodiment includes on the shank a radially spaced apart series of linear arrays of barbs emerging from the shank itself. The linear spacings may be staggered from one radial line to the next so that as a whole the barbs are arranged into one or more continuous helicies.
MULTI-AXIS MULTI-ANCHORED IMPLANTS
Customized dental implants feature enhanced osseointegrable qualities by manufacturing the implant post with osseointegrable material and preparing a larger post body, including a portion to cover a maximized prepared bone surface, to integrate with a jawbone. Resultant implants are more durable and provide a better fit into the oral cavity. Various implant shapes and designs are disclosed. A dental implant may feature a plurality of bone spikes to serve as anchors for the implant in a patient's mouth. Multiple anchors lessen torques experienced by the implant during use. Ideally, the anchors will also project in different axes to maximize osseointegration and strength of the bond between bone and the implant.
DENTAL IMPLANT AND SURGERY GUIDE THEREFOR
The present disclosure provides an artificial tooth root for implantation of an artificial tooth. The artificial tooth root may include one or more body portions having a cylindrical shape, and an extension portion coupled to at least a portion of a lower portion of each of the one or more body portions and extending from a lower side and a side of the one or more body portions. The above body portions of the artificial tooth root may include a plurality of body portions, and by coupling the extension portion to the plurality of body portions, it is possible to couple a plurality of artificial tooth root implants through the extension portions.
Dental implant having porous structure
The porous three-dimensional structure of the implant is made as a three-dimensional body with open through pores and one-side open pores distributed evenly on the internal surface of open pores and connected to the internal surface. Sizes of pores are randomly distributed in the range of 150-300 μm. A reinforcing element is made from titanium or titanium alloy as a mesh with the protrusions evenly distributed on the outer surface of the mesh, and is located on the surface of the three-dimensional body. The method of manufacture and method of installation of one of the variants of the dental implant with the possibility of press fit in the jaw bone immediately after extraction of the tooth without arrest of bleeding are based on the porous three-dimensional structure claimed as well.

APPARATUS FOR DENTAL PROSTHETIC PROCEDURE
A dental anchor that is easily planted into a target space created by a lost tooth is presented. The dental anchor has a root portion made to extend into and contact bone tissue and a trunk portion directly attached to the root portion and disposed above gumline. A dental anchor planting apparatus that facilitates the precise planting of the dental anchor is also presented. The apparatus includes a main support and a chinrest, an impression tray, a dental anchor, and a nose bridge support all connected to the main support. The dental anchor of the disclosure may be used instead of a traditional dental implant to shorten procedure time and lower risks of infection and bone damage.
Bone anchor with a drilling template connecting to this bone anchor and method for manufacturing the bone anchor and the drilling template
A method for manufacturing at least one bone anchor and a corresponding drilling template, wherein the bone anchor has an anchor plate which is to be fixed to the surface of a bone by means of one or several screws having a screw head. The anchor plate thus has a bone side which is to connect to the surface of the bone and a free side which is opposite to said bone side. Further, a method for manufacturing a drilling template is described, making it possible to make bore holes in the bone at predetermined positions and to screw the bone anchor to the bone according to predetermined orientations.
