DENTAL ATTACHMENT ASSEMBLIES, ANGLED IMPLANT ASSEMBLIES, AND METHODS OF USE
Dental assemblies for a mouth of a patient are provided. Contemplated dental assemblies can comprise an implant having an upper portion and a lower portion, wherein the upper portion comprises a threaded portion configured to screw into a threaded recess of an abutment, and wherein the lower portion comprises an angled platform and a threaded post extending from the platform, the threaded post configured for threaded engagement with bone or tissue in the mouth of the patient. In some aspects, the angled platform can be angled, for example, about 15 degrees, about 20 degrees, about 30 degrees, between 10-35 degrees, or between 15-30 degrees relative to a line that is orthogonal to a length of the implant.
FIXED HYBRID DENTAL ATTACHMENT ASSEMBLY AND METHODS OF USE
A dental assembly is provided, which includes an endosseous dental implant, a retention member, and a cap configured for securing in a dental appliance and engaging the retention member. The endosseous dental implant may have an external projection extending from the top of the first end portion for releasable engagement with an abutment member, wherein the abutment member has an external lower bevel portion. The retention member may have a first end and a continuous, unbroken skirt extending from the first end defining an inner surface for engagement over the outer locating surface of the abutment member, the retention member being constructed from a rigid material such that it provides a retentive force of about 10 to 75 pounds. The rigid material may include PEEK.
Dental / Prosthetic Implant
Improvements in a dental/prosthetic implant is disclosed. The implant includes interior and exterior threaded surfaces. The use of both interior and exterior expanding threaded surfaces for integrations of the insert and a prosthetic with the same implant. The implant is immediately usable under load and promotes rapid integration with bone growth. The expanded insert essentially makes contact with the tapped bone surfaces where loads can be immediately applied so a person can utilize the prosthetic implant. The implant can further include security devices GPS, ID with medical records making removal of the implant difficult to extract. A cushioning member may be further integrated. The implant/abutment can include a surface with a plurality of contacts with sufficient gold contact points to attach residual nerve endings, during implanting surgery to provide nerve identification, send, receive, target so as to exploit proprioceptive memory or retraining.
Highly self-tapping dental implant system with hybrid connection and parallel double cone locking between prosthetic abutment, implant and infernal screw
Highly self-tapping dental implant system with hybrid cone type connection and interlocking rails, which allows high insertion (or removal) torque and double parallel cone locking between the implant, prosthetic abutment and internal screw, even in its 3.0 mm diameter embodiment, and gives the whole system high primary and secondary stability, optimal watertightness thanks to the double cone sealing, as well as predictable long-term fixation of the dental prosthesis on the implant.
Dental implant
A dental implant that facilitate insertion and can be used in all bone types. The implant includes a body having a coronal end, and an apical end opposite the coronal end. A tapered region may be adjacent the apical end. On the apical part one or more taps are provided so the tap is cutting when rotating clockwise and counter-clockwise. The implant can have at least one variable profile helical thread that extends along the tapered region. The implant can have also micro-threads below the main threads, a gradual compressing tapered core, a self drilling apical end and a narrow coronal region.
Dental implant analog
The present invention relates to a dental implant analog, an implant analog kit comprising the dental implant analog, the combination of a physical model of a set of a patient's teeth and the dental implant analog and a method of positioning a dental implant analog into a physical model of a set of a patient's teeth.
Dental implant able to enhance stability
This invention discloses a dental implant able to enhance stability for solving the problem of insufficient support of prior arts. The dental implant of this invention includes: a first threaded section having a first diameter which decreases toward a free end of the first threaded section along a longitudinal axis; a second threaded section connected with the first threaded section and having a second diameter larger than the first diameter; a cut-in section obliquely extending from one end, away from the first threaded section, of the second threaded section outwards and having a tip with a feature of sharpness for cutting into an alveolar bone of a patent in a dental implant surgery; and a head section connected with the cut-in section for receiving a force to facilitate the dental implant to move into the alveolar bone. The dental implant of this invention can enhance preliminary and long-term stability.
DENTAL IMPLANT WITH IMPROVED STABILIZATION THREAD FORM AND CUTTING ELEMENTS
An implant for insertion within a maxillofacial bone of a patient, for example a dental implant, including a three-dimensional stabilization thread form extending along at least a portion of the implant body in a first helical direction, and one or more grooves or channels extending through the three-dimensional stabilization thread form in a generally opposite second helical direction, whereby one or more cutting edges are formed at the intersection of the one or more grooves or channels with the three-dimensional stabilization thread form.
Dental implant, insertion tool for dental implant and combination of dental implant and insertion tool
A dental implant (1), in particular for insertion into bone tissue of a patient, comprising: a core body (2) having an apical end (4), a coronal end (6), and an outer surface (8) extending along a longitudinal direction between said apical end (4) and said coronal end (6); and at least one thread (12) located on at least a threaded portion of said outer surface (8), should have superior properties regarding primary and secondary stability. According to the invention this is achieved in that the core body (2) comprises a core shaped zone (22), preferably next to said coronal end (6), in which core shaped zone (22) the cross-section of said core body (2) has a number of main directions in which the radius measuring the distance between the center (50) of the cross section and its outer contour takes a relative maximum value and thus a higher value than in neighboring orientations, a core circular zone (20), preferably next to said apical end (4), in which core circular zone (20) the cross-section of said core body (2) is basically circularly shaped, and, as seen in said longitudinal direction, a transition zone (26) positioned between said core shaped zone (22) and said core circular zone (20), in which transition zone (26) the geometry of the cross-section of said core body (2), as a function of a parameter characteristic for a coordinate in said longitudinal direction, changes continuously from a basically circular shape next to said core circular zone (20) to a shape in which the cross-section of said core body (2) corresponds to the shape of the cross section in said core shaped zone (32). The invention further relates to an insertion tool (200) for inserting a dental implant (1, 201, 401) into bone tissue of a patient. Moreover, the invention relates to a combination of such a dental implant (1, 201, 401) and such an insertion tool (200).
