Customized Dental Prosthesis for Periodontal or Osseointegration, and Related Systems
A dental prosthesis to be integrated into a jaw bone cavity of a pre-identified patient. An example of a dental prosthesis includes a first manufactured portion having a surface shaped to substantially dimensionally conform three dimensionally to an undersized shape of the outer three-dimensional surface shape of a root of a tooth to be replaced, and a second manufactured portion shaped to substantially conform to the three-dimensional surface of a crown of the tooth. The outer surface of the root portion can include or be coated with a biocompatible material that is suitable to be integrated into the extraction socket and adopted by existing tissue forming the socket.
A DENTAL IMPLANT
A dental device comprises: a dental implant comprising a core enveloped by an expandable anchor comprising a plurality of joined segments. Prior to insertion of the core into the expandable anchor a carrier apically displaces within the expandable anchor, generating an expansion force causing the plurality of joined segments to be displaced linearly away from the central axis of the implant where the coronal and apical ends of each joined segment are displaced in parallel paths normal to the central axis of the implant. The core inserts into the expandable anchor to lock the plurality of joined segments in their expanded configuration. At least a first rail on the core is received by a corresponding expandable anchor slot to align the core and expandable anchor and at least a first core and expandable locking lodge engage to lock the core into the expandable anchor.
BIONIC IMPLANTS
The present invention relates to a customized or standardized bionic implant and its manufacturing, especially for dental applications. According to the first variant of the invention, the implant is characterized in that its single-component anchor possesses at least two bionic arms (2) tapering circumferentially, thereby creating at least one pointed (5) and/or linear (6) blade on each arm (2). According to the second variant of the implant, the single-component anchor possesses at least two bulging arms (2) forming at least one protrusion (4) on each of them. The manufacturing method depends on whether the implant is standardized, new and customized or is a modification of an implant selected from a digital library of standardized implants. Physical form of embodiments of the anchor may be printed in a 3D printer. In the case of customized implants, the process commonly comprise obtaining tomographic images of the biological target. In the case of designing a new implant, a panoramic curve/curves and panoramic surface are set and become the basis for the arms (2) of the implant's virtual anchor.
APPARATUS FOR DENTAL PROSTHETIC PROCEDURE
A dental anchor that is easily planted into a target space created by a lost tooth is presented. The dental anchor has a root portion made to extend into and contact bone tissue and a trunk portion directly attached to the root portion and disposed above gumline. A dental anchor planting apparatus that facilitates the precise planting of the dental anchor is also presented. The apparatus includes a main support and a chinrest, an impression tray, a dental anchor, and a nose bridge support all connected to the main support. The dental anchor of the disclosure may be used instead of a traditional dental implant to shorten procedure time and lower risks of infection and bone damage.
DENTAL IMPLANT AND SET
The present invention relates to a dental implant for supporting, in particular by using a support structure, a cover element. The dental implant comprises a connection element having first and second end sections for connecting the dental implant to an implantation site of a jawbone and a first support element for supporting a cover element of at least a section of the implantation site after implanting the dental implant. The first end section is designed as, or comprises, a first connection section. The first support element comprises a second connection section. The first and second connection sections may be interconnectable. The second end section is designed as, or comprises, an implantation section for the temporary implantation of the connection element on or in the implantation site.
Dental implant and dental implant system
A dental implant includes an implant body with a coronally open cavity as well as at least one exit opening from an inside to the enossal outer surface. A thermoplastic element in the solid condition is arranged in the cavity or is introducible into the cavity and can be brought into an at least partly flowable condition by way of applying a pressing force, which is directed apically into the cavity, and mechanical oscillations and in this condition at least a share of the flowable material of the thermoplastic element can be pressed through the at least one exit opening into surrounding bone tissue on account of the pressing force, when the implant body is arranged in an opening in the bone tissue and the enossal outer surface is in contact with the bone tissue.

ONE PIECE CUSTOM MADE DENTAL DEVICE FOR HOLDING MULTIPLE TEETH
A one piece custom made dental device for holding multiple teeth comprises a mono block of dental implants (4), abutments (1), supracrestally or supragingivally connecting bars (2) and pontics (3). Implant (4) is made up of flat and broad base (4.1) and implant body portion (4.4) having vertical threads (4.3), inverted thread (4.2), crestal supporting thread (4.5). Implant (4), abutments (1) and pontics (2) are fabricated according to an individual's bone and gum data to form mono block structure without any screw and joints in such a manner as to distribute stress and strain on integrated dental implants. Multiple implants are integrated through supracrystally or supragingivally connecting bars (2). The dental device of the present invention is designed to achieve faster placement and implantation process with minimal bone loss and minimal micro movements. The present device reduces time required for healing and cost of whole implantation and prosthesis process drastically.
Bone implant
Provided is an implant receiving apparatus (10) comprising a core (20), the core defining a first end (30) and a second end (40), a wall (50) comprising inner surface (60) and outer surface (70) and a centerline (80) extending centrally of and between the ends (30, 40), the size and shape of the core (20) defining a socket or cavity (90) adapted to receiving an implant engaging member (100), wherein the wall comprises at least one threaded bore (110) for engaging a screw retainer, the bore traversing through the wall from the inner surface to the outer surface. Also provided is an implant engaging member, an implant system comprising both an implant engaging member and implant receiving apparatus as well as kits comprising an implant receiving apparatus.
