Fixation base and guides for dental prosthesis installation
Apparatus and method for installing a multi-tooth dental prosthesis in one session are shown and described. A first tool attaches to the jawbone, and serves as a foundation for subsequently used guides. Existing teeth and dental fixtures are removed, and the bone tissue is removed to accommodate the prosthesis. Subsequently, a drill guide is used to drill implant holes. An abutment guide is then used to place abutments. Copings are then installed. Next, the prosthesis may be installed and cemented to the copings. A resinous filler material may be applied to fill gaps and holes in and between the copings and the prosthesis, and is sanded smooth.
DENTAL DEVICE
Device including implant type support defining constraint axis, connector operatively interconnecting the support and dental prosthesis along the constraint axis, defining a constraint configuration having firmly constrained support and prosthesis, and a graft including first portion extending mainly parallel to constraint axis, a body including guide extending along transverse or slanted direction relative to constraint axis and cavity extending parallel to constraint axis for housing the first portion when connector is in the constraint configuration, obstructer including slider compliantly housed within the guide. First portion including a hole substantially aligned with the guide, when the connector is in constraint configuration, to allow insertion of slider into hole, and the obstructer for achieving a force magnetic on the slider for moving the slider along the guide so at least part of the slider enters hole, when the connector realizes the constraint configuration, to obstruct reciprocal movement between graft and body.
FIXED HYBRID DENTAL ATTACHMENT ASSEMBLY AND METHODS OF USE
A dental attachment assembly, comprising: an abutment member for attachment to a tooth root, implant, or adjacent tooth, the abutment member having an upper end, and an outer locating surface portion projecting downwardly from the upper end, the outer locating surface portion being positioned to project above a tissue level when the abutment member is secured in a tooth root or implant; a male member for attachment to the abutment member, the male member having an upper end comprising a swivel joint for swivel engagement within a cap in a recess in a dental appliance, and a continuous, unbroken skirt projecting from the upper end of the male member for engagement over the outer locating surface of the abutment member, the skirt having a rounded, convex outer surface, the male member being constructed from a rigid material.
FIXED HYBRID DENTAL ATTACHMENT ASSEMBLY AND METHODS OF USE
A dental attachment assembly is provided, including an abutment member and a male member. The abutment member may include an outer locating surface portion having at least two axially spaced retention portions having two generally rounded, annular projections. The male member for engagement over the outer locating surface of the abutment member may include an upper end and a continuous, unbroken skirt having a rounded, convex outer surface. The male member may be constructed from a rigid material and have at least two axially spaced, snap engaging formations on the inner surface of the skirt for snap engagement with the respective retention portions of the abutment member.
FIXED HYBRID DENTAL ATTACHMENT ASSEMBLY AND METHODS OF USE
A dental assembly is provided, which includes an endosseous dental implant, a retention member, and a cap configured for securing in a dental appliance and engaging the retention member. The endosseous dental implant may have an external projection extending from the top of the first end portion for releasable engagement with an abutment member, wherein the abutment member has an external lower bevel portion. The retention member may have a first end and a continuous, unbroken skirt extending from the first end defining an inner surface for engagement over the outer locating surface of the abutment member, the retention member being constructed from a rigid material such that it provides a retentive force of about 10 to 75 pounds. The rigid material may include PEEK.
FIXED HYBRID DENTAL ATTACHMENT ASSEMBLY AND METHODS OF USE
Dental assemblies comprising a dental appliance are provided herein. Contemplated dental appliances can comprise a first recess and a second recess, a first cap for securing in the first recess and a second cap for securing in the second recess, a first abutment member for attaching to a first tooth root, implant, or adjacent tooth, and a second abutment member for attaching to a second tooth root, implant, or adjacent tooth. A first retention member sized for engagement within the first cap may be provided, the first retention member having a first end and a continuous, unbroken skirt extending from the first end defining an inner surface for engagement over the outer locating surface of the first abutment member, and the retention member being constructed from a rigid material such that it provides a retentive force of about 10 to 75 pounds.
FIXED HYBRID DENTAL ATTACHMENT ASSEMBLY AND METHODS OF USE
A fixed hybrid dental attachment assembly comprising an abutment member, a male member, and a cap are provided herein. The abutment member comprises an outer locating surface portion projecting downwardly from an upper end. The male member for attachment to the abutment member comprises an upper end for engagement within a cap in a recess in a dental appliance, and a continuous, unbroken skirt projecting from the upper end of the male member for engagement over the outer locating surface of the abutment member. The skirt may comprise a rounded, convex outer surface, and the male member may be constructed from a PEEK material.
DENTAL IMPLANT BOLT FASTENING STRUCTURE
There is provided an implant having a slack prevention function by an eccentric fitting structure. An engaging shaft 53, which is decentered with a screw shaft 52, is provided at the end of an abutment screw 5, and is engaged with an engaging hole 45 provided in the bottom of a screw hole 44, into which an abutment screw 5 is screwed, and thus, the screw shaft 52 is inclined to and eccentric from the screw hole 44. Thereby, the screw shaft 52 comes to be strongly pressed partially in a circumferential direction toward the screw hole 44, so that internal stress in the horizontal direction is accumulated on the screw shaft 52. The screw 5 is threaded with maintaining prevailing torque caused by the internal stress, which enables the screw 5 to be fastened to the right position.
DENTAL BRIDGE SYSTEM
Provided is a dental bridge system including a superstructure and a support bar. The superstructure includes a proximal face formed with at least one bar-receiving groove shaped so as to snugly receive therein at least a corresponding portion of the support bar. The removable superstructure further includes a crown portion defining teeth-like members and having a structurally functional distally projecting inner core, coated by a visible layer configured to impart aesthetic qualities to the crown portion.
Dental Framework and Prosthesis
A dental prosthesis and a process for design and manufacturing, incorporating a dental implant framework and veneering overlay that will be designed and manufactured simultaneously and permanently fixated to one another.
