Multi-purpose rack for organizing containers/packages of dental implant platforms for each tooth
A rack organizes dental implant containers both when housed within intermediate packaging and when removed therefrom, being arranged according to a tooth intended to receive the dental implant within the container. The rack includes: upper and lower flanges, and a connecting flange that separates the upper and lower flanges. The upper flange and connecting flange are each formed with a plurality of openings shaped to receive the dental implant container therethrough when the container is removed from the intermediate packaging. The openings may each have first and second slots to accommodate receiving a container therethrough when housed within intermediate packaging. The lower flange may removably couple to a base with a plurality of recesses, being usable to assist with restorative procedures relating to fixing dental implants, and may be removably coupled to the lower flange with the plurality recesses aligned with a plurality of openings in the lower flange.
Dental Attachment System
The present invention relates to a dental attachment system (100), having a first magnetic element (103-1) for fixing in an oral cavity (105); and a dental object (101) having a second magnetic element (103-2) for attachment to the first magnetic element (103-1).
DENTAL DEVICE
Dental device including a base defining a main axis and including first and second portions, one configured to be constrained on a user's osseous portion, the other to be constrained to one or more artificial teeth, constraint element a constraint configuration wherein the first and the second portions are mutually constrained and a rest configuration wherein the first and second portions are separable. The constraint element including one wedge slider movable along the main axis to determine rest and the constraint configurations. A movable element at least partially counter-shaped to the slider and expandible radially relative to the main axis. An obstacle to interfere with the movable element when the constraint element is in constraint configuration to block mutual translation of the portions along the main axis. The cursor and the movable element arranged on the first portion. The obstacle is arranged on the second portion.
CARRIER TO FACILITATE ISQ MEASUREMENTS
A carrier tool is proposed that may be used in combination with a dental torque wrench to easily access all dental implants, regardless of their location within the mount. The carrier tool comprises a shaft for extending the reach of the wrench, with a shortened mount attached to an opposing end of the shaft. The shorted mount is used to securely hold the implant measurement device during insertion within the implant. A magnet is disposed within the interior of the mount to secure the implant measurement device (also magnetized) in place as the carrier tool is brought into the proper position with respect to the implant.
Adjustable system for magnetic denture retention
An adjustable denture retention system may include an elongated baseplate configured for adjustable longitudinal positioning within a mouth of a patient. The baseplate may be adapted to magnetically engage a denture in order to retain the denture in place in the mouth without the use of an adhesive. The denture may include one or more magnets and the baseplate may include a ferromagnetic material. The system may include spacers for engaging permanent dental implants within the patient's mouth and for spacing the baseplate from the gingiva to promote dental hygiene. A number of spacers of different heights allows for an adjustable height of the baseplate above the gingiva regardless of the thickness of the gingiva.
IMPLANTABLE ABUTMENTS, ABUTMENT SYSTEMS, AND METHODS OF OPERATION THEREOF
Improved devices, systems, and methods for securing a dental prosthesis within an oral cavity of a subject are disclosed. In one embodiment, an implant system comprises an implantable abutment comprising a threaded fixation portion and an abutment portion. At least part of the threaded fixation portion can be configured to be implanted within the alveolar bone or alveolar process of the subject and at least part of the abutment portion can be configured to protrude beyond the gingiva of the subject. The system can also comprise a sleeve comprising a sleeve frame and a plurality of locking tabs configured to lock the sleeve to the abutment portion and lock a dental coping to the abutment portion. The threaded fixation portion can be defined by an exterior tubular profile and wherein the abutment portion can be set within the exterior tubular profile.
The denture may include one or more magnets and the baseplate may comprise a ferromagnetic material. The system may include spacers for engaging permanent dental implants within the patient's mouth and for spacing the baseplate from the gingiva to promote dental hygiene. A number of spacers of different heights allows for an adjustable height of the baseplate above the gingiva regardless of the thickness of the gingiva.
Parallel alignment apparatus for facilitating prosthodontic restorations and method of use
A dental alignment apparatus for aligning and positioning one or more prosthodontic restoration member relative to at least one reference prosthodontic restoration member disposed on the same jaw.
Dental devices and related technology
The present disclosure is directed to denture devices and related technology. A device may include an overdenture including a substructure comprising at least one hinge. The device may further include a dental implant prosthesis configured to be attached to a jawbone and including at least one extensions configured for contacting the at least one hinge of the overdenture to secure the overdenture to the dental implant prosthesis.
SEAL FOR REMOVABLE AND ADJUSTABLE DENTAL PROSTHESIS AND METHODS OF OPERATION THEREOF
Apparatus and methods for adjustably retaining a dental prosthesis are disclosed. In one variation, a securement assembly includes an abutment assembly comprising an upper abutment portion configured to extend beyond the gingiva of a patient. The upper abutment portion can have an abutment ledge and the abutment ledge can be defined by a receiving groove. The securement assembly can also include a coping attached to the abutment assembly. The coping can have a coping base. A seal can be positioned in the receiving groove and in between at least the abutment ledge and the coping base. The seal can elastically deform to allow the coping to translate relative to the abutment assembly.
