Dental implant positioning
11553994 · 2023-01-17 · ·

Methods, devices, systems, and series of appliances are provided for dental implant positioning. One method for positioning an implant with dental treatment includes determining an implant location based on a virtual model of an optimized dental occlusion, moving one or more teeth using a first number of a series of dental appliances, from a first orientation to a second orientation, the second orientation exposing the implant location, placing an implant at the exposed implant location using a landmark included in at least one of the series of dental appliances, repositioning one or more teeth using a second number of the series of dental appliances, from the second orientation to a successive orientation.

OSSEOINTEGRABLE IMPLANTS AND SCREWS COMPRISING STRUCTURALLY POROUS SURFACE, PROCESS FOR PREPARING THE IMPLANTS AND SCREWS AND USES THEREOF

The present invention relates to implantable medical devices (dental and orthopedic) (osseointegrable implants) textured by the additive manufacturing process. Such implants are prepared in such a way as to comprise a larger surface area of contact between implant/adjacent tissues, porous microstructure with complex geometry with controlled and diversified pore size, which confers several technical advantages. In addition, the present invention relates to the process of preparing said implants and/or screws with an optimized structure for accelerating osseointegration. Finally, the present invention refers to the use of said implants as carriers of drugs or cells in order to treat the site, promote its healing, tissue regeneration or promote cell growth.

Base member for orthodontic implant device

A base member for an orthodontic implant device. The base member makes it possible to easily and reliably attach a correction implement. The base member is secured by a plurality of screws that are embedded in a bone inside an oral cavity. Each of the plurality of screws has a screw part that is embedded in the bone and a polygonal-columnar head part that is exposed inside the oral cavity. The base member has at least three engagement holes that are provided so as to be capable of engaging the polygonal-columnar head parts and such that the centers thereof are not on the same straight line.

Dental appliances, systems and methods

An orthodontic appliance and associated systems and methods are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the present technology includes a positioning member configured to position an orthodontic appliance during installation in the patient's mouth. The positioning member may comprise a first portion configured to be coupled to the patient's teeth and a second portion extending away from the first portion. The second portion may be configured to be detachably coupled to the orthodontic appliance. While the positioning member is coupled to the orthodontic appliance, the positioning member is configured to be positioned in the patient's mouth and coupled to the patient's teeth, thereby positioning the orthodontic appliance at a desired location adjacent a patient's oral anatomy.

SURGICAL INSTRUMENT CONNECTORS AND RELATED METHODS

Connectors for connecting or linking one instrument or object to one or more other instruments or objects are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a connector can include a first arm with a first attachment feature for attaching to a first object, such as a surgical access device, and a second arm with a second attachment feature for attaching to a second object, such as a support. The connector can have an unlocked state, in which the position and orientation of the access device can be adjusted relative to the support, and a locked state in which movement of the access device relative to the support is prevented or limited. Locking the connector can also be effective to clamp or otherwise attach the connector to the access device and the support, or said attachment can be independent of the locking of the connector.

Method and system for provisioning of dental implants and related services

The present invention relates to a system and method for dental implant and restorative services. By locating the key functions at one physical location, dental implant services are efficiently provided to patients. These functions include a treatment coordinator, a direct marketer, a restorative doctor/prosthodontist, a surgeon, an imaging area, and a dental laboratory, Further, services for dentate patients are improved by utilizing advanced dental implant methods and systems. These methods and systems include both model-based services and CT (computed tomography) guided surgery services. Using these services, improved surgical guides for dental implants are constructed.

MAGNET-BASED ORTHODONTIC APPLIANCE

An orthodontic appliance is rigid to avoid significant flexing due to therapeutic magnetic forces. The orthodontic appliance is magnetically mountable on the lingual or palatal side of teeth of a patient. Magnetic or magnetizable targets are mounted only on the lingual or palatal side of the patient's teeth. Orthodontic components are obscured from view behind the patient's teeth. Orthodontic correction is provided with improved esthetics. Magnets and/or targets can be of custom, designed or selected shapes, including non-planar shapes, to provide a desired force vector.

CRANIAL RESTRUCTURING DEVICES
20220346917 · 2022-11-03 · ·

A device for cranial restructuring, by the expansion, compression, or flexure of a cranial structure located between first and second anchor points, includes: a force generator configured to generate force; a first anchor attachment to the first anchor point; a second anchor attachment to a second anchor point; a hydraulic force transmitting structure, connected to the force generator, to transmit the generated force to the anchors thereby putting the cranial structure in tension, compression or flexure. Another device for cranial restructuring includes: a head support, having a head-receiving portion; a force generator to generate force which is periodic; a first anchor attachment to the first anchor point; a force transmitting structure, connected to the force generator, which transmits the periodic force to the anchor in a restructuring direction; wherein the head support includes: a restriction to prevent or restrict movement of the user's head when the periodic force is applied.

TOOTH MOVING DEVICE

The present invention provides a tooth moving device, effective for distalizing a posterior tooth or a canine, and also capable of being applied for distalizing not only a maxillary but also mandibular posterior tooth or canine. A tooth moving device 1 of the present invention comprises: a track part 6 extending along a teeth alignment on a maxillary palatal side, or on a maxillary or mandibular buccal side; a sliding part 13 slidably attached to the track part 6; an anchoring part 2 attached at a position close to a distal end relative to the sliding part 13; and an elastic part 14, one end of which is held by the sliding part 13 and the other end of which is held at a position close to the distal end relative to the sliding part 13, and which biases the sliding part 13 toward the distal end 5.

Orthodontic skeletal anchorage device

The invention proposes an orthodontic anchorage device, which may be used in combination with others, comprising a plate with two, three or four pointed end stems distributed on one of its surfaces and at least two holes at the ends adapted for the insertion of micro screws. These stems are intended to slightly rest on the bone through the palatine mucosa, preventing the entire appliance from digging into the palate.
