Helical body with blades for cutting, stirring, removing and cleaning in solids and closed and open tubular shapes. The blades create more points to cut and contact with less material and remove what they cut and withdraw in the same movement. In ear cleaning they reduce the risk of pushing in the cerumen. The helicoid to remove earwax is manufactured with the same processes and machines of the art of swabs, adding two steps, preforming and forming. This one, by placing halves of helicoid molds in bands or cylinders where, by pressure, a vacuum, and heat, they form the blades. The machine produces quantities per minute similar to the current ones. Uses of the invention are possible in cutting and removal of rocks, in mechanical tools for working on metals or hard materials, in medicine for removal and extraction in ducts, veins and arteries, in personal use and domestic utensils where blades replace fibers.

A hygiene stick (1), for personal care, in particular for ear hygiene, comprises a rod (2) for picking up and handling with the fingers and at least one head (3) supported by said rod (2). The head (3) is made of elastic material and is supported cantilever-style by said rod (2) projecting from the rod along an axial line (5).

A device for removing earwax from an ear canal includes a shaft; and an earwax collector head at an end of the shaft. The collector head is in the form of a helical strip surrounding a substantially elongated space. The helical strip has a cross section such that an outward facing surface of the helical strip is substantially flat and an interior surface of the helical strip radially tapers to an inward facing edge. A distal end of the helical strip tapers to present a wedge.

A narrow-orifice foreign body extraction device configured as a unitary article comprises a volumetric enclosure bounded by a frustoconical cone, which has inner and outer surfaces and an intermediate section positioned between an apertured cap section and an apertured base section. The inner surface defines a boundary of an interior chamber of the volumetric enclosure, and the inner and outer surfaces define between them a cone wall. An adhesive material is secured to at least part of the inner or outer surfaces at the cap section and comprises an apertured portion and a tail portion. The apertured portion has one or more adhesive apertures and adhesive-covered opposing inner and outer side surfaces, and the tail portion has an adhesive-covered inner tail surface extending along and bonding to at least part of the outer surface at the cap section to secure the adhesive material to the cap section.

The present invention discloses an ear and/or nose cleaning device comprising a handle including at least one cartridge. The cleaning device further comprises at least one cleaning tip having a spiral body, at least one curved shape feature, a set of bristles, or a combination thereof. The spiral body can include one of an oval shape arrangement and a cylindrical shape arrangement. The handle is configured to couple with the at least one cleaning tip using a connection mechanism. Furthermore, the present invention also discloses the cleaning tip for use in an ear and nose cleaning device.

Described herein are devices for cleansing the internal surface of various body cavities. The devices generally include a handle and one or more cleansing tips having different sets of cleansing surfaces. In addition to removing debris, and disrupting bacterial biofilms so as to make these bacteria more susceptible to various cleansing agents, the devices may be configured to deliver an antiseptic agent, an anti-inflammatory agent, or a fragrance to the body cavity surfaces, or deliver UV light to sanitize the surfaces. Methods for cleansing the surfaces of body cavities such as the nasal passages and vaginal cavity are also described herein. Systems including one or more cleansing devices and one or more cleansing formulations are further described.

A disposable dual ended ear curette incorporates specialized tip configurations and a depth measurement system. The ear curette may comprise a central handle portion; a first tip extending from one end of the handle portion and including an annular array of projections; and a second tip extending from an opposed end of the handle portion and including a blade member having a first lateral scraping edge on one edge of the blade member positioned adjacent a concave surface of the blade member, and a second lateral scraping edge on an opposed edge of the blade member.
