REDUCED-PRESSURE DRESSING ASSEMBLIES FOR USE IN APPLYING A CLOSING FORCE
A closing dressing bolster and assembly for use with a system for treating a linear wound on a patient includes a bolster body formed from a flexible closing bolster material having closing members that are operable to develop an inward closing force when the closing dressing bolster is placed under reduced pressure. In one aspect, when the closing dressing bolster is under reduced pressure, the system, dressing, or assembly develops an inward force realized at the linear wound and a compression force. A wicking-material holder and wicking material may be used as well. The member components may all be see-through to allow visual inspection of the wound without requiring removal of the dressing.
DRESSING COMPRISING WATER RESISTANT VISUAL INDICIA
A wound dressing is disclosed that includes a water resistant visual indicia provided on an area of the dressing. The water resistant visual indicia may be provided on a tag attached to the dressing. The tag may comprise a top sheet and a bottom sheet, the bottom sheet comprising a writeable surface on which the visual indicia is handwritten, or printed.
SELECTIVELY CONFIGURABLE WOUND DRESSING
A wound dressing is selectively configurable for use in a pressure gradient wound therapy system and for use without a pressure gradient wound therapy system. The wound dressing can include a pressure distribution layer and a covering layer. The covering layer includes an indicia, the indicia denoting the optimal position in the covering layer to create an aperture to provide fluid communication between the pressure distribution layer and a source of non-atmospheric pressure.
Moisture sensing wound dressing
A wound dressing is disclosed, the wound dressing comprising a first adhesive layer with a proximal surface configured for attachment of the wound dressing to the skin surface of a user; an absorbent core layer; an electrode assembly comprising a plurality of electrodes arranged on a distal side of the absorbent core layer, the electrode assembly comprising a plurality of sensor points distributed along a distal surface of the absorbent core layer; and a top layer on a distal side of the electrode assembly.
Therapeutic tape
The invention relates to a therapeutic adhesive tape for use in medical or sporting applications. The therapeutic tape is configured to be applied to the skin of a user. The tape comprising: a base layer having a face side and a back side, the base layer being composed of a combination of recycled polyethylene terephthalate (hereinafter: RPET) and an elastic material, and an adhesive layer deposited on one of said face side or back side of the base layer for attaching the tape to the skin of the user.
CONVENIENT SPORTS TAPE
A convenient sports tape, comprising a package body and a tape body; the package body has at least one transparent top sheet, a bottom sheet matching the top sheet with its edge connected to that of the top sheet, and a housing space formed between the top sheet and the bottom sheet, the housing space can store and clamp the tape body; the tape body is provided with at least one adhesion section, and a positioning section configured on one end of the adhesion section; the tape body has three layers in total, made up of a tape layer, an adhesive layer, and a releasing layer of the same shape; the tape layer can be configured according to the marbling of lean flesh.
Negative pressure wound treatment apparatuses and methods with integrated electronics
Disclosed herein are embodiments of a wound treatment apparatus with electronic components integrated within a wound dressing. In some embodiments, a wound dressing apparatus can comprise a wound contact layer, an absorbent layer over the wound contact layer, the absorbent layer comprising one or more apertures, a cover layer configured to cover and form a seal over the wound contact layer and the absorbent layer, and an electronics assembly comprising a negative pressure source. The cover layer can be configured to be compressed within the aperture in the absorbent layer when negative pressure is applied to the wound dressing apparatus and indicate a level of negative pressure below the cover layer. In some embodiments, the wound dressing apparatus can comprise an indicator material layer configured to protrude when negative pressure is applied to the wound dressing apparatus and indicate a level of negative pressure below the cover layer.
RE-CLOSABLE WOUND DRESSING WITH INCREASED ADHESIVE LAYER
A re-closable wound dressing is provided. A base layer is operable to be attached to a skin of a patient. The base layer forms a pre-fabricated aperture through which a wound of the patient is accessible. A cover layer is coupled with the base layer. The cover layer is operable to cover the pre-fabricated aperture, and is permanently adhered to the base layer along at least a portion of the cover layer. The base layer and the cover layer are made of like materials.
Adhesive patch
An adhesive patch comprising: a support; at least a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer provided on the support; and a release liner attached on the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer so as to cover the surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, in which the support is a 3D patterned sheet characterized in that a plurality of protruded lines and recessed lines parallelly and linearly extending are formed inside and outside lines in a plurality of figures partitioned by the lines, walls of the protruded lines and recessed lines in some of the figures are formed to be inclined by different inclination angles with respect to a base part, and the protruded lines have different heights from the base part, serving as physical parameters of the protruded lines and recessed lines, toward a predetermined direction in the sheet.
WOUND DRESSING AND METHOD OF TREATMENT
Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to negative pressure treatment systems and wound dressing systems, apparatuses, and methods that may be used for the treatment of wounds. In particular, some embodiments are directed to improved wound dressings comprising an obscuring layer that may hide fluid contained therein. Some embodiments may further comprise one or more viewing windows disposed therethrough so as to enable monitoring or examination of fluids contained therein.
