Bi-Directional Packaging Adhesive
In aspects of bi-directional packaging adhesive, a sterile package includes an adhesive patch that adheres to an applied surface. The sterile package includes a non-stick backing that adheres to the adhesive patch, with the non-stick backing being removable for application of the adhesive patch. The sterile package includes packaging that encompasses the adhesive patch and the non-stick backing, and includes a bi-directional adhesive configured to release in a first package opening direction to remove the packaging while maintaining the adherence of the non-stick backing to the adhesive patch, and hold in a second package opening direction to remove the non-stick backing from the adhesive patch along with removing the packaging. A portion of the non-stick backing is attached to an inside of the packaging with the bi-directional adhesive, and the attached portion peels the non-stick backing from the adhesive patch in the second package opening direction to open the packaging.
BANDAGES
A bandage can be made oversized in width and length with a thick absorbent pad to provide pressure to the wound. The bandage provides a one-step procedure for wounds that need pressure and protection. The individually wrapped bandage is taken from a sterile wrapper to the wound so there is no worry of infection. Pull tabs make the bandage application a sterile procedure. Another bandage has a hard or semi hard cover with optional vent holes incorporated for air circulation. The bandage protects a wound or stitches or any delicate skin problem from being bumped or damaged from ordinary daily labors. The cover can have no pad in it or it can have a pad that can have nothing in it or can have anti-bacterial ointment, or the like, to help fight infection.
SELECTIVELY CONFIGURABLE WOUND DRESSING
A wound dressing is selectively configurable for use in a pressure gradient wound therapy system and for use without a pressure gradient wound therapy system. The wound dressing can include a pressure distribution layer and a covering layer. The covering layer includes an indicia, the indicia denoting the optimal position in the covering layer to create an aperture to provide fluid communication between the pressure distribution layer and a source of non-atmospheric pressure.
CONVENIENT SPORTS TAPE
A convenient sports tape, comprising a package body and a tape body; the package body has at least one transparent top sheet, a bottom sheet matching the top sheet with its edge connected to that of the top sheet, and a housing space formed between the top sheet and the bottom sheet, the housing space can store and clamp the tape body; the tape body is provided with at least one adhesion section, and a positioning section configured on one end of the adhesion section; the tape body has three layers in total, made up of a tape layer, an adhesive layer, and a releasing layer of the same shape; the tape layer can be configured according to the marbling of lean flesh.
DRESSING WITH OPTIONAL WOUND STATUS INDICATOR
A dressing for a wound includes a drape, an absorbent core, and a wicking member. The drape can be configured to sealingly couple with a patient's skin surrounding the wound. The drape may enclose an inner volume of the dressing. The absorbent core layer may be positioned within the inner volume of the dressing. The wicking member is positioned within the inner volume, wherein the wicking member extends from an underside of the absorbent core layer to the drape. The indicator may be configured to fluidly couple with the wicking member through the drape and receive fluid from the wicking member. The indicator may be configured to provide a visual wound status indication in response to receiving fluid from the wound through the wicking member.
Method of manufacturing package structure
A method of producing a packaging structure, including the steps: coating at least one surface of a first sheet base material and/or a second sheet base material with a synthetic polyisoprene latex having a weight average molecular weight of 500,000 -5,000,000 and/or a styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer having a weight average molecular weight of 100,000-300,000, sandwiching an article to be packaged in a state wherein the first and second sheet base material are in contact with each other via a latex coated surface formed on the first and/or second sheet base material to thereby obtain a laminated body, pressing a portion where at least the first and second sheet base material of the laminated body are in contact with each other via the latex coated surface at a temperature of 100° C. or less to thereby obtain a pressed laminated body, and performing a sterilization treatment on the pressed laminated body.
Wound or skin treatment devices and methods
Devices, kits and methods described herein include skin treatments with a book-like packaging, applicator and/or tensioning device used to apply a dressing to a subject. The packaging, applicator and/or tensioning device is used to apply and/or maintain a strain in an elastic dressing, and has a first support, a second support, and a primary bending region therebetween, the primary bending region comprising a primary bending axis, with the dressing attached to the first and second supports of the device.
ARRAY OF ABSORBENT DRESSINGS FOR THE TREATMENT OF WOUNDS
Array for the treatment of wounds comprising a first absorbent wound dressing (10, 30) that is non-adhesive and a second absorbent wound dressing (20, 40) that is adhesive, wherein the first wound dressing (10, 30) comprising a first absorbent pad (12, 32) comprising superabsorbent fibers and/or particles, and wherein the second wound dressing (20, 40) comprises a second absorbent pad (22, 42) comprising superabsorbent fibers and/or particles, characterized in that the second wound dressing (20, 40) comprises means for the adhesive fixation of the second wound dressing (20, 40) to the skin of a patient, wherein the means for the adhesive fixation comprise a skin-friendly silicone adhesive (23b, 43b).
