DRESSING FOR NEGATIVE-PRESSURE THERAPIES
The present invention relates to a dressing for the application of negative pressure therapies.
Controlled strain skin treatment devices and methods
Devices, kits and methods are used for wound healing, including but not limited to the treatment, amelioration, or prevention of scars and/or keloids, and include packaging, manipulation elements, applicator and/or tensioning device that are used to apply and/or maintain a strain in an elastic dressing.
Medical system and dressing for use under compression
In some illustrative examples, a bridge suitable for treating a tissue site may include a bridge sealing member and one or more bridge wicking layers. The bridge sealing member may extend along a length of the bridge, and may define an internal passageway in fluid communication between a receiving end of the bridge and a transmitting end of the bridge. The one or more bridge wicking layers may be disposed within the internal passageway of the bridge sealing member. Other apparatus, systems, and methods are disclosed.
MULTILAYERED PRIMARY CONTACT WOUND DRESSING
The wound dressing described herein can be used as a contact layer dressing. The wound dressing can be positioned between a wound bed and a secondary dressing. The wound dressing can include a layered construction. Each of the layers can include a bioresorbable sponge enclosed within a collagen-based film. The wound dressing can include a plurality of fluid channels that enable fluid flow from the wound bed toward the environment-face side of the wound dressing.
DRESSING INCLUDING DEHYDRATED PLACENTAL TISSUE FOR WOUND HEALING
A dressing for wound healing is provided herein including dehydrated placental tissue, collagen, and oxidized regenerated cellulose. The dehydrated placental tissue may be present in a first layer and the collagen and the oxidized regenerated cellulose may be combined into a second layer. The dehydrated placental tissue may comprise amniotic membrane tissue, chorion tissue, or a combination thereof. The second layer including the collagen and the oxidized regenerated cellulose may comprise about 50% to about 60% collagen by weight and about 40% to about 50% ORC by weight.
Tissue Treatment Systems And Methods Having A Porous Substrate With A Compressed Region And An Expanded Region
A system for treating a tissue site of a patient includes a dressing filler adapted to be positioned at the tissue site. The dressing filler is comprised of a porous substrate having at least one compressed region and at least one expanded region. The compressed region of the porous substrate is held in a compressed state by a first coating capable of dissolving in the presence of a fluid, and the expanded region of the porous substrate is held in an expanded state by a second coating.
DRESSINGS, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TREATING A TISSUE SITE
Dressings, systems, and methods are disclosed for treating tissue with reduced pressure. A dressing for distributing reduced pressure to a tissue site includes a plurality of liquid-impermeable layers that are stacked and a plurality of spacers disposed at least partially between adjacent liquid-impermeable layers. The plurality of liquid-impermeable layers are fenestrated at least in part. The plurality of spacers and plurality of liquid-impermeable layers form a plurality of flow paths for allowing fluid flow under reduced pressure. Adjacent layers of the plurality of liquid-impermeable layers are stacked without foam between at least a majority of coextensive surfaces. Other dressings, systems, and methods are disclosed.
Nasal drip pad
A nasal drip pad apparatus for use on an individual. The apparatus includes a drip pad assembly positioned configured to be positioned underneath an individual's nose and a string forming configured to form a pair of loops. One of the loops is placed around one of the patient's ears and the other one of the loops is placed around the other one of the patient's ears.
DEVICE FOR WOUND CARE, METHOD TO MANUFACTURE AND USES THEREOF
A device for wound care, related method of manufacturing and uses are provided. The device 100 comprises a base layer 10, a functional layer 20 supported on the base layer and containing at least one chemical substance 21 suitable for wound care and a coating film 22 laid over said functional layer and having a skin-contact surface 22A. The coating film 22 is configured, upon being contacted with skin, to dissolve and to release said chemical substance 21 to skin through the skin-contact surface 22A. The coating film 22 is preferably an atomic layer deposition (ALD) film.
WOUND DRESSING AND METHOD OF TREATMENT
Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to negative pressure treatment systems and wound dressing systems, apparatuses, and methods that may be used for the treatment of wounds. In particular, some embodiments are directed to improved wound dressings comprising a number of viewing portals that facilitate observation of wound tissue or healthy skin underlying the wound dressing. Some embodiments of the viewing portals are provided by forming through holes in internal dressing layers including absorbent material and transmission material, optionally by providing a plug material within the through holes, and by providing translucent or transparent cover layer and tissue contact layer materials.
