The bend angle sensor is configured and positioned to detect a bend angle of the collar, wherein the bend angle correlates to the inwardly-directed force on the first and second compressors when worn.

A suboccipital compression pad may include a pair of securing straps extending respectively from opposing ends of the pad member, the pair of securing straps having proximal ends diverging into upper rear straps and lower rear straps to form an open space between the upper rear straps and the lower rear straps such that portions of the upper rear straps are located above ears of the patient and portions of the lower rear straps are located below ears of the patient without covering ears of the patient, wherein one of the upper rear straps and the lower rear straps of the pair of securing straps is configured to be selectively attachable to different locations of a back side of the pad member.

A tracheostoma device holder for holding a tracheostoma device superimposed of a tracheostoma of a person is provided. The tracheostoma device holder includes a flexible skirt for attachment over a tracheostoma via a skin adhesive proximal side thereof, and the skirt is provided with a through hole. A tubular tracheostoma device fitting is arranged circumferentially of the through hole, and the tubular tracheostoma device fitting extends distally from the distal side of the skirt. The skirt has at least two sheets, in form of a distal end sheet comprising a skin adhesive hydrogel or hydrocolloid, and a support sheet proximally of the distal end sheet. The support sheet includes polyurethane.

The invention relates to a tracheostoma protection device for covering a tracheostoma, comprising an open-cell foam cloth, an adhesive strip and an air-impermeable region arranged distally on the foam cloth and associated with the tracheostoma, the tracheostoma being concealable by means of the air-impermeable region. During use of the tracheostoma protection, the foam cloth can by moved at least to some degree outwardly from a contact surface about the tracheostoma.

The base plate defines a conically shaped region formed by a plurality of conforming members extending radially from the accessory mounting portion that are laterally spaced from one another and connected to one another by a plurality of web portions formed by the flexible membrane. An adhesive material is applied to the flexible membrane.
