COMPRESSION GARMENT
A compression garment for a maximizing pressure on a soft-tissue area of a user, the garment is provided. The compression garment has a breast section, a first horizontal anchor positioned connected to the bottom of the breast section, an umbilical and hypogastric section connected to the latissimus dorsi section, a second horizontal anchor positioned and connected to the top of the umbilical and hypogastric, and a third anchor positioned and connected to the bottom of the lumbar and iliac section, wherein the fourth horizontal anchor is configured support the lumbar and iliac section.
WEARABLE ITEMS
Wearable item comprising a motion control system and a method of manufacturing thereof. The wearable item comprises a body-close wearable item which, when worn by a user, at least a part of the wearable item is positioned adjacent to the body of the user. The motion control system comprises at least one layer of strain-rate sensitive material configured to control motion of one or more body parts of the user.
DRESSING FOR BREAST CAVITIES
A dressing for an internal cavity may include a connector, a negative pressure pathway layer, an instillation pathway layer, a negative pressure manifold, and an instillation manifold. The negative pressure manifold can be disposed within the negative pressure pathway layer and the instillation manifold can be disposed within the instillation pathway layer. A proximate end of the negative pressure manifold can be fluidly coupled with a first channel of the connector. The proximate end of the instillation manifold can be fluidly coupled with a second channel of the connector. The negative pressure pathway layer and the instillation pathway layer can be configured to cooperatively form an inner volume therebetween. The inner volume may be configured to receive a space filler. The negative pressure pathway layer, the instillation pathway layer, and the space filler can be collectively configured to be positioned within the internal cavity.
NEGATIVE-PRESSURE WOUND THERAPY DRESSING WITH ZONE OF AMBIENT PRESSURE
Disclosed embodiments may relate to dressings configured to provide negative-pressure wound therapy to a tissue site, while simultaneously shielding a portion of the tissue site from the negative pressure. For example, dressing assembly embodiments may comprise an outer dressing configured for applying negative-pressure wound therapy to a tissue site, and an underlying isolation patch configured for use under the outer dressing. The isolation patch may be configured to seal the portion of the tissue site so that it does not experience the negative pressure. Additionally disclosed are other apparatus, dressings, systems, and methods.
RIGIDIFYING BRACE
A passive stent for retaining an organ in an expanded state configured to adhere and substantially conform to an external surface of the organ may include an inner layer, an outer layer, and a middle layer that is enclosed by the inner layer and the outer layer, comprising a plurality of components configured to interlock and maintain the organ in an expanded state upon application of a vacuum. A method for retaining an organ in an expanded state may include applying at least one force to the organ to place the organ in the expanded state; applying a passive stent to an external surface of the organ; and applying a vacuum to the passive stent sufficient to cause a plurality of components of at least one layer of the passive stent to interlock, where the at least one layer is configured to maintain the organ in the expanded state after interlocking.
Absorbent component
The present invention generally relates to an absorbent component (100) for use in a garment. The absorbent component (100) comprises: a first layer composite (120) comprising a first foam layer (122) and a first liquid impermeable layer (124); an absorbent layer composite (140) bonded to the first liquid impermeable layer (124) for absorbing bodily fluids; and a second liquid impermeable layer (164) bonded to the absorbent layer composite (140) and first layer composite (120) to contain the bodily fluids absorbed by the absorbent layer composite (140), wherein the second liquid impermeable layer (164) forms an opening (166) for receiving the bodily fluids to the absorbent layer composite (140); and wherein the first foam layer (122) is moulded to shape the absorbent component (100).
RIGIDIFYING BRACE
A brace for retaining an organ in an expanded state configured to adhere and substantially conform to an external surface of the organ includes an inner layer, an outer layer, and at least one sheet of thin malleable material forming a middle layer between the inner layer and outer layer, the at least one sheet being enclosed and configured to rigidify and maintain the organ in an expanded state upon application of a vacuum. The brace can be incorporated into a brassiere.

SUPPORT FOR BODY PORTION
A variety of body supports are disclosed for supporting a body portion, for example, for supporting a chest in a donned configuration. In some examples, the body support includes a first support panel having one or more first tongues projecting outwardly therefrom, a second support panel having one or more second tongues projecting outwardly therefrom, a connecting section, joining the first support panel to said second support panel in longitudinal spaced relationship along an imaginary longitudinal mid-line of the body support, the first tongue and the second tongue being on opposite transverse sides of a mid-line of the body support, a first fastener and a second fastener. The body support may further include a doffed configuration in which the first support panel and the second support panel are non-contiguous with respect to one another.
METHOD AND DEVICES FOR TISSUE EXPANSION
A device for maintaining or achieving soft tissue expansion applicable to any body region already temporarily expanded including: an adhesive element deformable and capable of adapting to the shape of this body region, and which can then itself become mechanically rigid enough to resist tendency of the expanded tissue to recoil or to which a second material can be applied to form a stent adapted to the shape of the body area to provide the necessary structural rigidity to prevent recoil of the expansion and thereby induce its retention of its expanded shape after the stent is removed.
