Process for making articles and apparatus
A process and an apparatus for producing hygienic absorbent articles provided with at least one refastenable side seam from a chain of articles being formed having a first elastic sheet and a second elastic sheet, wherein the process and the apparatus are configured to perform operations on one or both of the elastic sheets in a cross direction, that is, with the elastic sheets parallel to the machine direction.
Absorbent article with a fastening system with reduced waste and method of manufacturing the same
An absorbent article with a fastening system with reduced waste and method of manufacturing such an absorbent article is disclosed. The method of manufacturing an absorbent article can include cutting a first web of ear tab material to provide a first ear tab that is registered and cutting a second web of ear tab material to provide a second ear tab that is registered. The method can also include providing a web of ear panel material, coupling the first and second ear tabs to the web of ear panel material, cutting the web of ear panel material to provide first and second ear panels to form first and second ears, and coupling the first and second ears to the absorbent assembly to form at least a portion of the fastening system for the absorbent article. The first and second ears can be configured to be different from one another.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MAKING ELASTIC PANELS
A system for manufacturing elastic strand nonwoven panels including an unwind module, a lamination module and a folding module. Elastic strand material is fed from cores disposed on the unwind module through rollers towards the lamination module, where the elastic strand material is attached to a nonwoven web to form an elastic strand nonwoven web. At the folding module, the elastic strand nonwoven web is folded over itself by operation of plates underneath which the elastic strand nonwoven web is fed under tension.
LINE AND PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF NAPPY PANTS
A line for the production of diaper pants including at least one absorbent pad and a plurality of elastic bands, forming a pants-like structure; the production line includes a first forming unit for forming a composite web from which said absorbent pads are obtained, a second unit for forming elastic bands for forming said elastic bands and an assembly line for assembling the pads and the elastic bands to construct the diaper pants; the assembly line includes a plurality of processing units, each including a computerized command and control unit and a computerized high level control unit in communication with the computerized command and control units in the assembly line; the high level control unit is configured to impart to each computerized command and control unit at least one control signal for the respective processing unit as a function of the size of the diaper pants being produced in the production line.
Method for manufacturing custom products
Methods and apparatuses for manufacturing products having custom graphic designed are disclosed. A method may comprise printing a first order identifier graphic on a substrate material, the first order identifier graphic associated with a first order for a first set of products, printing a first set of one or more graphic designs on the material, the graphic designs associated with the first order, combining the material with one or more product components to form the first set of products, each of the products of the first set of products being associated with the first customer order and at least one of the products of the first set of products comprising the first order identifier graphic, performing a print quality inspection on the print test graphic, and after determining the print test graphic failed the print quality inspection, culling each of products associated with the first order.
Taped and pant diapers comprising substantially identical chassis
The present disclosure relates to taped and pant articles comprising substantially identical chassis.
METHOD OF MONITORING THE QUALITY OF ABSORBENT SANITARY ARTICLES, RELATED PRODUCTION LINE AND COMPUTER-PROGRAM PRODUCT
A method of analysing the quality of a welding area of an absorbent sanitary article is disclosed. During a learning step, a plurality of welding operations are performed both with a sufficient quality and with an insufficient quality, and the welding area generated for each welding operation is monitored via a camera. During a training step, the pixel data of the welding areas monitored during the learning step is processed for training a classifier configured to estimate a welding quality as a function of respective pixel data of a respective welding area. Accordingly, during a normal welding operating step, the welding quality may be estimate via the classifier, thereby improving the environmental sustainability of the production process.
TAPED AND PANT DIAPERS COMPRISING SUBSTANTIALLY IDENTICAL CHASSIS
The present disclosure relates to taped and pant articles comprising substantially identical chassis.
