METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING WAIST PART OF WEARABLE ARTICLE
A method for manufacturing an around-torso portion of a worn article, including the steps of; intermittently conveying a plurality of first sheets by a first drum; conveying a preceding second sheet, of a plurality of second sheets, toward a junction with the first drum by a first pad of a second drum, and conveying the preceding second sheet so that the male touch fastener at the rear end of the preceding second sheet overlaps with the female touch fastener at the front end of one first sheet, of the plurality of first sheets; and conveying a subsequent second sheet, of the plurality of second sheets, toward the junction with the first drum by a second pad of the second drum, and conveying the subsequent second sheet so that the male touch fastener at the front end of the subsequent second sheet overlaps with the female touch fastener at the rear end of the one first sheet.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DISPOSABLE WORN ARTICLE
The method of the present invention includes the steps of: arranging a plurality of non-continuous sheets of a predetermined length intermittently and successively in the conveyance direction on the continuous sheet so that the continuous elastic members are sandwiched between the non-continuous sheets and the continuous sheet; in an overlapping area where the non-continuous sheets overlap with the continuous sheet, attaching the continuous sheet and the non-continuous sheets to each other by welding the sheets to each other in a predetermined pattern, thus producing a continuous laminate; and in a non-overlapping area where the non-continuous sheets do not overlap with the continuous sheet, heating the continuous sheet in the same pattern as said pattern.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING WEARABLE ARTICLE
A method for manufacturing a wearable article includes: a conveying step of winding a continuous material including a first part and a second part superposed on each other with interposing a absorptive body therebetween around a rotary drum and conveying the continuous material with the absorptive body put into a space between two support faces on an outer peripheral surface of the rotary drum; and a joining step of moving a movable part of a sealer unit outward and homeward in a cross direction crossing a conveyance direction of the continuous material, while the continuous material with the absorptive body put into the space is conveyed by the rotary drum, to form liner sealing areas and thereby joining the first part and the second part to each other through the formed liner sealing areas.
Process for making a refastenable side seam, apparatus and article having that refastenable side seam
A process and an apparatus for making a refastenable side seam of an hygienic absorbent article efficiently, without the need to remove scrap and which allows refastenable side seams to be obtained which are ergonomic, aesthetically pleasing, easily identifiable by the user and such that they do not reduce the wearability of the article. The disclosure also relates to a hygienic absorbent article provided with at least one refastenable side seam. The disclosure also relates to a process and an apparatus for carrying out one or more operations on elastic panels usable for making an hygienic absorbent article provided with at least one refastenable side seam.
Turning device for a production line for hygiene products
The invention relates to a turning apparatus for a production plant (2) for sanitary products, in particular adult or baby diapers, the turning apparatus having a drum (12) which rotates about a geometrical drum rotational axis (11), and at least one plate (14) which is spaced apart radially from the drum rotational axis (11) and is coupled to the drum (12), which plate (14) comprises a suction face (15) for the transport of sanitary material pieces (16), which suction face (15) holds the respective sanitary material piece (16) by means of a vacuum during the transport, the plate (14) having a geometrical vertical axis (17) which runs radially with respect to the drum rotational axis (11), the plate (14) receiving the sanitary material piece (16) with a first orientation about the vertical axis (17) in a first transfer region (18), and transporting the sanitary material piece (16) from the first transfer region (18) to a second transfer region (20) along a setpoint transfer path (19) which runs in the circumferential direction around the drum rotational axis (11), the suction face (15) being rotated with the sanitary material piece (16) about the vertical axis (17) during the transport, the plate (14) outputting the sanitary material piece (16) in the second transfer region (20) with a second orientation which is different than the first orientation about the vertical axis (17). It is proposed that, during the receiving and/or outputting, the plate (14) carries out a non-linear compensation movement relative to the drum (12) with a radial movement component.
Elastic composite sheet manufacturing method
An elastic resin material having a thermoplastic elastic resin as a main component is heated and melted, and the elastic resin material is discharged in a film or a linear shape from a discharge mechanism to form a film-shape or a linear-shape intermediate product. At a temperature above the temperature region at which the elastic resin material elastically deforms, extending is performed until the thickness or width of the film-shape intermediate product or the thickness of the linear-shape intermediate product assumes a prescribed value; with a cooling roller, the intermediate product is cooled to the temperature region at which the elastic resin material elastically deforms, and the intermediate product is hardened, forming a film-shape or linear-shape elastic member. The elastic member is stretched with a stretch roller to a prescribed stretching ratio, and the stretched elastic member is laminated on and bonded to a first base material sheet.
MACHINE AND A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SANITARY PRODUCTS
A machine and a method for manufacturing a sanitary product with an hourglass shaped absorbent core, such as a panty liner or a light-inco diaper. The machine and the method allow virtually scrap-free shaping of the core into an hourglass shape.
ABSORBENT SANITARY ARTICLE AND A METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
An absorbent sanitary article includes a chassis having a front section and a rear section, a micro-hook front panel integrally formed on a portion of a backsheet in the front section of the chassis and two back side panels attached to the rear section of the chassis and having respective micro-loop areas configured for forming a hook-and-loop connection with the micro-hook front panel.
LINE AND PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF NAPPY PANTS
A line for the production of diaper pants including at least one absorbent pad and a plurality of elastic bands, forming a pants-like structure; the production line includes a first forming unit for forming a composite web from which said absorbent pads are obtained, a second unit for forming elastic bands for forming said elastic bands and an assembly line for assembling the pads and the elastic bands to construct the diaper pants; the assembly line includes a plurality of processing units, each including a computerized command and control unit and a computerized high level control unit in communication with the computerized command and control units in the assembly line; the high level control unit is configured to impart to each computerized command and control unit at least one control signal for the respective processing unit as a function of the size of the diaper pants being produced in the production line.
METHOD OF PRODUCING ABSORBENT BODY FOR ABSORBENT ARTICLE, AND ABSORBENT ARTICLE
A base sheet having one main surface applied with an adhesive is supplied to a conveyance device and the base sheet is conveyed while the other main surface of the base sheet is suctioned. A first laminate is formed by overlapping the one main surface of the base sheet with the other main sheet of a fiber sheet having one main surface nap-raised; then, a granular absorbent material is scattered on the one main surface of the fiber sheet; the scattered absorbent material is infiltrated into the fiber sheet when the other main surface of the base sheet is suctioned; then, a second laminate is formed by overlapping the one main surface of the fiber sheet with the one main surface of a cover sheet applied with an adhesive; and then the resultant sheet is compressed in the thickness direction by means of a compression means and the applied adhesive.
