SANITARY TAMPON
A sanitary tampon that includes a body of generally cylindrical shape provided with a rounded front end in the insertion direction of the tampon and with a rear end from which an extraction cord protrudes; the body including an absorbent core, rectangular, with two major sides and two minor sides, covered with an absorbent sheet of non-woven fabric, and wound in the longitudinal direction and pressed together with said absorbent sheet, its major sides being oriented towards the front and rear ends of the body of the tampon and the tampon being made entirely of natural materials.
APPLICATOR FOR FEMININE CARE PRODUCT
An array of feminine care products having a first applicator and a second applicator. Each of the first applicator and second applicator having a barrel portion having an insertion end and a grip end disposed opposite the insertion end of the barrel portion; and a plunger slidingly engaged with the barrel portion. The first applicator comprises a first color. The second applicator comprises a second color. Each of the first applicator and the second applicator comprises an onset crystallization temperature. The onset crystallization temperature of the first applicator and the onset crystallization temperature of the second applicator differ by less than 0.4 degrees Celsius and the opacity of each of the first applicator and the second applicator is greater than 41%.
APPLICATOR FOR FEMININE CARE PRODUCT
A method of designing a feminine hygiene applicator is disclosed. The method includes obtaining a first applicator; obtaining onset crystallization temperature for the first applicator; obtaining a second applicator; obtaining L*, a*, b* values for the second applicator; configuring a third applicator comprising an onset crystallization temperature which is within 3 percent of the onset crystallization temperature of the first applicator; configuring the third applicator to have an L* value within 20 percent of the L* value for the second applicator; configuring the third applicator to have an a* value within 20 percent of the a* value for the second applicator; and configuring the third applicator to have a b* value within 20 percent of the b* value for the second applicator.
Tampon assembly providing proper bodily placement of a pledget
Provided is a tampon applicator having one or more insertion indicators to gauge and/or control the insertion depth of a tampon. The one or more insertion indicators may be located on the tampon applicator barrel, plunger, tampon, removal string, or any combinations thereof. As a result of the one or more insertion indicators, a woman can adjust the insertion depth of the tampon to her body's requirements ensuring leakage protection, comfort, or both.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR INHIBITION AND INTERRUPTION OF BIOFILM FORMATION
Compositions and methods for inhibiting and interrupting biofilm formation, and for destabilizing established biofilms are provided, the novel compositions including polymeric resins and monomeric non-polymerizable and polymerizable resins. More particularly, the compositions and methods enable the protection and removal of biofilms from surfaces in the context of medical, consumer, domestic, food service, environmental and industrial applications, where the effects constitute beneficial and desirable biofilm attenuating activity.
VAGINAL FLUID ABSORPTION AND ODOR REDUCTION
A device includes a shell including a proximal end and a distal end of the shell. The device also includes a plunger within the shell. The plunger can include a flexible stop at a proximal end of the plunger and a distal end. The device can further include an absorptive unit configured to absorb fluid within a vaginal cavity. The absorptive unit can be affixed to the distal end of the plunger. The absorptive unit can include an absorptive element affixed to a frame structure configurable to reversibly transition between a compressed and uncompressed configuration. The absorptive unit can also include a tether coupled to the absorptive unit via the frame structure. The tether can extend through the proximal end of the plunger. Related methods of use are also described.

ABSORBENT INTIMATE HYGIENE PRODUCT FOR PREVENTING AND TREATING INFECTION
Devices according to the invention use a metal-based material having antimicrobial, biocidal, bactericidal, virucidal and/or fungicidal effect. Metals having antimicrobial properties can be toxic to microorganisms of interest (microbes), such as bacteria and/or fungi.
Tampon assembly having a shaped pledget
A tampon assembly having a barrel, a plunger, and a pledget is provided. The plunger is slidably received in the barrel. The pledget is in the barrel between the insertion tip and the plunger so that a force applied on the plunger can expel the pledget from the barrel. The barrel has a plurality of petals defining an insertion tip, which has a first taper ratio of more than about 0.3 to less than 1.0. The pledget has a shaped tip that is disposed in the insertion tip.
