The sanitary napkin has a semisolid (flexible) structure affixed along the center base of it. The semisolid flexible structure is an elongated form of matter that goes along the base of the sanitary napkin. Surrounding the affixed center base semisolid structure is material that is not semisolid or solid, but soft and consistent with the rest of the sanitary napkin.

An absorbent article includes an absorbent core. The article has a central longitudinal axis and a central transverse axis extending perpendicular to said longitudinal axis, the absorbent article having a front end edge and a back end edge. The absorbent article has a front portion, a back portion and a crotch portion. The absorbent core includes a coherent area disposed in at least the front portion and the crotch portion. The coherent area is in an absorbent component. The core cover includes a sealing arrangement for joining the upper and lower sides in the form of at least one sealed channel. An absorbent article can have a topsheet layer, a liquid impermeable layer, and an absorbent core positioned between the topsheet layer and the liquid impermeable layer. The absorbent article can further include an exudate management layer in fluid communication with the topsheet layer. In various embodiments, the exudate management layer can be positioned on a body facing surface of the topsheet layer. In various embodiments, the exudate management layer can be positioned between the topsheet layer and the absorbent core. The exudate management layer has a first component which defines an opening for direct passage of body exudates into the absorbent core. The exudate management layer has a second component which at least partially overlaps the first component of the exudate management layer and further extends in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article in a direction towards the posterior region of the absorbent article.

A body shape enhancing apparatus for creating a space between the thighs and simultaneously providing multiple shape enhancements is described. The body shape enhancing apparatus comprises an outer shell casing comprising a top outer shell casing, a bottom outer shell casing, a front section, a middle section and rear section. The outer shell casing body is configured to cover a wearers undercarriage from the pelvic area to about the anus. The rear section comprises a protrusion from a top of the rear base section, the protrusion supported by a similar shape internal support protrusion.

A sanitary napkin includes a main pad body having an absorbent body, and a flow-guide unit including two flow-guide members having bottom ends connected to a top surface of the absorbent body, and a pull piece connected to top ends of the flow-guide members. Each flow-guide member includes a plurality of flow-guide sections foldably connected to each other, and a plurality of outer junction sections each formed between outer ends of two adjacent ones of the flow-guide sections. The pull piece is pulled to move the flow-guide sections relative to the absorbent body from a folded position, in which the flow-guide sections are stacked one upon the other, to an extended position, in which the outer junction sections of the flow-guide members are configured to contact the buttocks of a user.

An Enhanced Sanitary Pad has various optional devices associated therewith in order to ameliorate painful conditions and also signal the amount of liquids absorbed therein. In this regard, cooling crystals are embedded within an absorbent layer attached to a plastic backing material. Another option has a cooling strip associated with the pad at either end thereof, on the longitudinal sides of the pad, at a side of an optional raised protrusion located on the pad or on the raised protrusion itself. This protrusion is also formed of tightly wound absorbent material and is either stitched or supported with adhesive interlay to maintain its shape; it is optionally removable from the pad and associated therewith using corresponding velcro interlocks.

An absorbent article includes two planar liquid permeable topsheet layers with a first topsheet layer suspended from the longitudinal ends of the second topsheet layer. The first topsheet layer is of shorter length than the second topsheet layer such that the relaxed absorbent article includes a curvature along its length. The first topsheet layer defines a central opening and two end openings which allow for air circulation through the article and also for the second topsheet layer to be seen through the openings in the first topsheet layer. While the first topsheet layer is at least extensible, it is desirably elastic.

A sanitary napkin increases and ensures secure protection with an adhesive having a solid alignment lock. The sanitary napkin preferably has an extended length and is provided with a sponge-like rear filter to absorb tunnel-patterned bodily excretions. A generally diamond shaped padding absorbs bodily excretions from the vaginal region. Notably, the stronger adhesive locks the body in alignment with an undergarment.

The present invention relates to a disposable hygiene article comprising first and second compression lines in a forward region of the article. The article has a core with a first area which has its narrowest width (M) in the transverse direction (x) in a front portion or at a location of a transition between the front portion and a crotch portion of the article. The absorbent core in the crotch portion comprises the first and second compression lines, which are separated from each other at their closest point by a minimum distance D1, measured in the transverse direction.
