Pressure-mitigating surfaces with inflatable chambers and methods for deploying and controlling the same
Described herein are systems and apparatuses for enhanced comfort through contact pressure reduction. In particular, the systems and apparatuses disclosed herein prevent or otherwise mitigate pressure by actively orienting a patient over an anatomy-specific pressure-mitigating contact surface on which the patient rests. A pressure-mitigating contact portion of the contact surface includes a plurality of independently pressurized chambers configured in a specific geometric pattern that is designed to mitigate contact pressure between a support surface (e.g., bed or chair) and a specific anatomic region of a patient's body when the specific anatomic region of the patient's body is oriented over an epicenter of the geometric pattern. Additionally, a plurality of elevated side support portions and a wedge interconnected on the base material are configured to actively orient the specific anatomic region of the patient's body over the epicenter of the geometric pattern.

ABSORBENT ARTICLES COMPRISING SENSORS
A sensor system for detecting a property of or within an absorbent article may comprise an absorbent article and a sensor. The absorbent article may comprise a garment-facing layer and an absorbent assembly. The sensor may be disposed in and/or on the absorbent article. The sensor may be separable from the absorbent article. The sensor may be configured to sense a change in condition within the absorbent article.

Sanitary Undergarment
The present invention relates to a sanitary diaper or undergarment having a body shield that may be made of a plurality of materials and may be infused with a plurality of substances that have anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and moisturizing properties. The body shield may be hypoallergenic, scented or non-scented. The interior of the body shield has an adhesive flap that can be applied to the genital area or hip area of the wearer, in order to seal the genital area or hip areas of the wearer from any human waste that accumulates within the diaper. As a result, the device greatly reduces and prevents the occurrence of diaper rash and other skin irritations that can occur from wearing a diaper for prolonged periods of time.
Reusable Diaper with Disposable Pad Device
The present invention relates to a reusable diaper with a disposable pad device primarily comprised of a body that has an outer surface, an inner surface with at least one pad and a rear surface and a front surface each with at least two tabs. The tabs allow the device to be secured around the user. The pad is further removably-attached to the inner surface via at least one fastener, such that the pad can be removed when a user soils and/or defecates in the device. The top surface of the pad is further comprised of a gel pad and infused with lotion, such that it does not irritate the skin of the user. Therefore, a user can replace the pad when necessary, while continuing to utilize the rest of the device for multiple diaper changes.
SEMIPERMANENT MENSTRUAL PAD
A semipermanent menstrual pad may include: a genital area cover configured to cover a female genital area and having a storage space recessed at a center of the genital area cover to store menstrual blood, and a lid part configured to cover an upper portion of the storage space to prevent the menstrual blood introduced into the storage space from leaking to the outside, in which the lid part is coupled to or separated from the genital area cover in an attachable/detachable manner and includes a through-hole through which the menstrual blood is introduced, and a first menstrual blood leak prevention projection formed along a boundary line of the through-hole and provided at a position spaced apart from the through-hole by a preset distance to primarily prevent the leak of the menstrual blood.
