AN ABSORBENT HYGIENIC ARTICLE FOR ABSORBING BODY FLUIDS
An absorbent hygienic article for absorbing body fluids, the article including a liquid permeable topsheet, a backing layer and an absorbent core arranged between the topsheet and the backing layer, the topsheet and the backing layer being made from roll materials. The topsheet or an absorbent layer in the absorbent core is constituted by a cellulosic fibrous web, the fibres in the cellulosic fibrous web being constituted by a mixture of cellulose fibres including regenerated cellulose fibres or natural cellulose staple fibres and cellulose pulp fibres, the cellulosic fibrous web being a foam-formed, hydroentangled fibrous web.
ABSORBENT ARTICLES COMPRISING SENSORS
A sensor system for detecting a property of or within an absorbent article may comprise an absorbent article and a sensor. The absorbent article may comprise a garment-facing layer and an absorbent assembly. The sensor may be disposed in and/or on the absorbent article. The sensor may be separable from the absorbent article. The sensor may be configured to sense a change in condition within the absorbent article.
Textile Backsheet
Textile backsheets including a nonwoven fabric and film, such as a vapor-permeable and liquid impermeable (VPLI) film or a non-permeable film, are provided, wherein the nonwoven fabric is directly or indirectly bonded to the film. Methods of making such textile backsheets and absorbent articles including the textile backsheets are also provided.
Super Absorbent Polymer Film and Absorbent Article Comprising the Same
The present disclosure relates to a super absorbent polymer film having excellent moisture absorption and to an absorbent article excellent in feeling capable of reducing skin rashes and other irritations generated when warmed by the wearer's body by including the super absorbent polymer film to improve external dampness.
BREATHABLE DIAPER BACKSHEET
A breathable thermoplastic polymer film may be produced and adapted for use as a breathable diaper backsheet. The film may comprise a blend of LLDPE, mLLDPE and calcium carbonate, and may have improved tear strength and melt strength such that instances of tears or break offs during the machine direction orientation portion of the production process are significantly reduced or eliminated. In addition, the film may have sufficient tear strength to permit omission of CDI processing needed to strengthen weaker prior art films. In this regard, undesired streaking of colors or printed aspects of the film may be reduced or avoided completely.
Elastomeric films having low tear propagation
Multilayer thermoplastic films, and laminates and articles comprising the films, wherein the film comprises at least one inner layer and at least two outer layers, wherein the inner layer comprises a polymeric composition comprising from about 55% to about 95% of one or more non-hydrogenated styrenic block copolymers, olefinic block copolymers, or combinations thereof; and each outer layer comprises at least 20% polypropylene and has a thickness of from about 5% to about 15% of the total film thickness, and further wherein the film has a constant force tear propagation of about 20% or less.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE COMPRISING AN ADHESIVE COMPOSITION
Described herein is an absorbent article. The absorbent article includes an assembly of components and an adhesive composition joining at least two of the assembly of components together. The adhesive composition includes from about 50 wt. % to about 80 wt. % of one or more copolymers and a blend of one or more heterophase copolymers. The one or more copolymers include from about 30 mole % to about 70 mole % of monomer units selected from ethylene. 1-butene, and mixtures thereof. The one or more copolymers also include from about 30 mole % to about 70 mole % of propene monomer units. The adhesive composition is free of polyisobutylene and has a viscosity of from about 2,000 mPa.Math.s to about 11,500 mPa.Math.s at 150° C.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL TAPE, AN APPARATUS AND A METHOD FOR THE MANUFACTURING THEREOF
A three dimensional tape that may be used as a top sheet and a backsheet for a sanitary product, particularly a baby diaper or a sanitary pad. The three dimensional tape allows manufacturing of comparatively thinner, fluffless sanitary products with an improved comfort for the user. Manufacturing of the tape may be accomplished in-line, thereby dispensing with all of the logistics burden from outsourced products, and all of the environmental impact the logistics come with.
Pants-type disposable diaper
A pants-type disposable diaper (1) having a front body part (P), a back body part (Q) and a crotch part (R) positioned therebetween and formed in a pants shape, comprising an absorbent body (7) situated at least at the crotch part (R) and comprising a top sheet, a back sheet and an absorbent core (10) disposed therebetween, and an exterior member (2) provided on an outer side of the absorbent body (7) and situated at least at the front body part (P) and the back body part (Q), wherein the exterior member (2) comprises an outer sheet (5) and an inner sheet (6) provided on a skin-facing side of the outer sheet (5), and the outer sheet (5) is made of a nonwoven fabric having a meltblown nonwoven layer and a printed part is provided to the skin-facing side of the outer sheet (5).
Breathable diaper backsheet
A breathable thermoplastic polymer film may be produced and adapted for use as a breathable diaper backsheet. The film may include a blend of LLDPE, mLLDPE and calcium carbonate, and may have improved tear strength and melt strength such that instances of tears or break offs during the machine direction orientation portion of the production process are significantly reduced or eliminated. In addition, the film may have sufficient tear strength to permit omission of CDI processing needed to strengthen weaker prior art films. In this regard, undesired streaking of colors or printed aspects of the film may be reduced or avoided completely.
