A packaged absorbent article having a body surface and a garment surface; and a wrapper sheet for wrapping the absorbent article so that at least a portion of the garment surface of the absorbent article can be seen through the wrapper sheet.

A collection of feminine hygiene article packages is described. Each of the packages have a consumer-facing panel. In the collection are a plurality of first packages having a first size indicator, and a first plurality of feminine hygiene articles therein, and a plurality of second packages having a second size indicator and a second plurality of feminine hygiene articles therein. Each of the first plurality and second plurality of packages have a product guide having a first reference condition and a second reference condition. A first product indicator is associated with the first reference condition and a second product indicator is associated with the second reference condition. A first group product indicia associates the first product indicator with the second product indicator, wherein a first ratio of a length of the second plurality of absorbent articles to a length of the first plurality of absorbent articles is from between about 1.0 to about 1.5.

To provide a connecting sheet that can reduce noise generated when peeled from an object. A connecting sheet is a connecting sheet stacked on the object to be connected to the object, and includes: a sheet substrate having a first main surface and a second main surface; a first adhesive layer formed on the first main surface of the sheet substrate; and a plurality of hook components that protrude from the first main surface of the sheet substrate in a first direction and are spaced at intervals in a second direction in which the first main surface extends, and the hook components each includes: a column portion that extends from the sheet substrate in the first direction and protrudes from a surface of the first adhesive layer, and a head portion that extends from a tip of the column portion in the second direction, and the lower surface of the head portion is covered with the adhesive material.

A packaged feminine care absorbent article has an absorbent article with an absorbent structure and a shell. The absorbent structure is configured for disposition adjacent a female wearer's vaginal region. The shell is configured for supporting the absorbent structure at the vaginal region. The shell has a body-facing surface and a garment-facing surface. The body-facing surface has an adhesive thereon for adhering the shell directly to the wearer. The absorbent structure is attached directly to the garment-facing surface. The absorbent article is configurable between a packaged configuration and a use configuration. The absorbent structure is folded longitudinally about at least one transverse fold line and transversely about at least one longitudinal fold line in the packaged configuration. A portion of the shell overlies a portion of the absorbent structure in the packaged configuration.

A vending machine that dispense feminine hygiene products. Specifically, this invention is a coin-operated vending machine that dispenses sanitary napkins and tampons. This invention allows a user to purchase a feminine hygiene product by placing a coin or multiple coins in a slot within the vending machine and pressing a product release button. The product is then dispensed to the consumer. The apparatus also provides a mechanism for retrieving a coin in the event that the vending machine is out of a specific feminine hygiene.

The present disclosure relates to a package (1) of absorbent units (5; 11), said package (1) includes an outer enclosure (2) enclosing the absorbent units (5; 11) and being at least partially non-opaque, wherein the outer enclosure (2) has a thickness (t) which is not more than approximately 70 μm, wherein the outer enclosure (2) supports a first graphical item (3) and at least one of the absorbent units (5; 11) supports a second graphical item (9; 9′). Furthermore, the absorbent unit (5; 11) supporting said second graphical item (9; 9′) is configured so that the second graphical item (9; 9′) is positioned in a manner so that it is generally not visible for a viewer from outside the outer enclosure (2). The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a package (1) of the above-mentioned type.

A packaged feminine care absorbent article includes an absorbent article with an absorbent structure and a shell. The absorbent structure is configured for disposition adjacent a female wearer's vaginal region to absorb bodily fluids discharged by the wearer. The shell is configured for supporting the absorbent structure at the vaginal region. The shell has a liquid-impermeable layer, a body-facing surface, and a garment-facing surface. The body-facing surface has an adhesive thereon for adhering the shell directly to the wearer and the absorbent structure is attached directly to the garment-facing surface of the shell. The absorbent article is configurable between a before use packaged configuration and a use configuration. The absorbent structure is folded longitudinally about at least two transverse fold lines and a portion of the shell overlies a portion of the absorbent structure in the packaged configuration.

A feminine hygiene article comprising: a liquid permeable topsheet; a secondary topsheet beneath the topsheet, having a secondary topsheet length measured along a longitudinal direction; a liquid impermeable backsheet; an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet; and an absorbent core disposed between the secondary topsheet and the backsheet, the absorbent core having a pair of substantially parallel and substantially straight longitudinal side edges, the side edges terminating at respective forward intersections with a projection of the absorbent core, the side edges terminating at respective rearward intersections with a rearward recess of the absorbent core, and a total core length measured along the longitudinal direction at the forwardmost and rearward most points of the absorbent core, wherein: the total core length is less than the secondary topsheet length; a forward portion of the secondary topsheet length forwardly overhangs the forward projection; a rearward portion of the secondary topsheet length rearwardly overhangs the rearward recess; the total core length as measured at the forwardmost and rearward most points of the absorbent core is from about 75% to about 99% of the secondary topsheet length as measured at the forwardmost and rearward most points of the secondary topsheet; and the forward projection and the rearward recess are substantially complementary in size and shape. When folded the feminine hygiene article has an absorbent core 18 which does not substantially overlap at the forewardmost extent of the absorbent core, which includes the projection, and rearwardmost extent of the absorbent core, which includes the recess, such that the overall folded thickness of the feminine hygiene article is minimized.

A method for wrapping a hygiene article or a stack of a number of hygiene articles is intended to enable them to be packaged in a wrapping formed from a sustainable raw material. For this purpose, the hygiene article(s) are fed to a wrapping station by means of a first feed unit, wherein a wrapping blank is pre-creased with folding edges suitable for forming side edges of the wrapping and is then fed to the wrapping station by means of a second feed unit, and in the wrapping station the hygiene article(s) are wrapped by folding the wrapping blank and then closing it by folding in the side flaps to form the side edges, the front and rear flaps are folded in to form the side edges, and the front and rear flaps are fixed to the side flaps and to each other.
