[Object] To provide an individually wrapped absorbent article that can be smoothly opened and includes an adhesive tab tape having a sufficient adhesive strength even in a post-process.
[Means of Achieving the Object] An adhesive tab tape 4 includes an upper layer tape 4A and a lower layer tape 4B. The upper layer tape 4A includes an upper layer substrate 20 and an upper layer adhesive 21 that is applied to the lower surface of the upper layer substrate 20. The lower layer tape 4B is removably laminated on the lower side of the upper layer adhesive 21, and includes a lower layer substrate 22 and a lower layer adhesive 23 that is applied to the lower surface of the lower layer substrate 22. The lower layer adhesive 23 of the lower layer tape 4B is disposed on the surface of a folded portion in a rear region A.sub.B, and a portion of the lower layer substrate 22 extends across an opening start end 14 from the lower layer adhesive 23 to the surface of a folded portion in a front region A.sub.F. This extended portion of the lower layer substrate 22 is non-adhesive. A portion of the upper layer tape 4A, including the upper layer substrate 20 and the upper layer adhesive 21, extends from the lower layer substrate 22 to the surface of the folded portion in the front region.
WRAPPER FOR ABSORBENT ARTICLE
The disclosure pertains to a wrapper (22) for an absorbent article (10) comprising a release paper (51,51′) comprising a layer of cellulosic fibers (33), a layer of peeling agent (32) arranged onto the layer of cellulosic fibers (33). According to the disclosure, the layer of cellulosic fibers (33) comprises a basis weight comprised between 10 gsm and 40 gsm. The disclosure also relates to an assembly comprising an absorbent article (10) and such wrapper (22) and a process to manufacture such assembly (10).
Packaged body adhering absorbent article
A packaged feminine care absorbent article has an absorbent article with an absorbent structure and a shell. The absorbent structure is configured for disposition adjacent a female wearer's vaginal region. The shell is configured for supporting the absorbent structure at the vaginal region. The shell has a body-facing surface and a garment-facing surface. The body-facing surface has an adhesive thereon for adhering the shell directly to the wearer. The absorbent structure is attached directly to the garment-facing surface. The absorbent article is configurable between a packaged configuration and a use configuration. The absorbent structure is folded longitudinally about at least one transverse fold line and transversely about at least one longitudinal fold line in the packaged configuration. A portion of the shell overlies a portion of the absorbent structure in the packaged configuration.
Dispenser for dispensing a hygiene product and associated method of operating
A dispenser is provided for dispensing a hygiene product. The dispenser includes a time-of-flight sensor for measuring a position of an object relative to the dispenser; and a controller configured to selectively operate at least one function of the dispenser based on the measured position of the object relative to the dispenser. A method of operating at least one function of a dispenser for dispensing a hygiene product is also provided. The method includes measuring with a time-of-flight sensor a position of an object relative to the dispenser; and using a controller to selectively operate the at least one function of the dispenser based on the measured position of the object relative to the dispenser.
Method and unit for folding incontinence pads
A method and unit for folding light incontinence pads having a substantially rectangular shape elongate according to a longitudinal axis and comprising a central absorbent pad and an outer edge, according to which a first end portion of the incontinence pad is folded on a central portion of the incontinence pad about a first fold line transversal to the longitudinal axis, a second end portion of the incontinence pad is folded on the first end portion about a second fold line transversal to the longitudinal axis, and elasticated segments of the edge located between the first and second fold lines are folded on the central portion; the step of folding the elasticated segments of the edge being between a first sub-step of partly folding the first end portion and a second sub-step of completely folding the first end portion on the central portion.
Individually packaged absorbent article
The present application discloses and claims an individually packaged, absorbent article of enhanced length, and including at least two sets of wings, which article is folded into a compact package form, and which package in being unfolded by a consumer, results in less operation steps by the consumer for donning of the article, and for disposal of the package.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorbent article includes a concave groove whose transverse plane shape satisfies (1) a relationship between a depth “h” of a bottom surface portion of the concave groove, and a distance “S” from a bottom end “G” of the concave groove to an upper end “K” from which a concavity of the concave groove starts is 1.5h<S, (2) a relationship between a width “b” of a bottom surface of the concave groove, and a width “B” between the upper ends “K” and “K” at both sides of the concave groove is B≧3b, and (3) a relationship between a dimension “a” of a square concave groove expressed by a product of the width “b” of the bottom surface of the concave groove and the depth “h” of the bottom surface portion, and a cross-sectional dimension “A” of the concave groove is A≧2a.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE PACKAGE WITH ENHANCED OPENING AND RECLOSEABILITY
A package containing a stack of folded disposable absorbent articles, the package being formed of flexible polymeric film, and having a path of perforations or scoring defining a hood opening structure, is disclosed.
