Method of forming primary package tube for tampons
High-speed methods to close tubular plastic wrappers may include providing a packaging film on a mandrel in the form of a hollow tube, forming a folded surface by rotating the hollow tube and mandrel while counter-rotating a plate having a plurality of folding blades, to form a plurality of folds that define the folded surface, substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the hollow tube, each folding blade engaging a portion of the protruding tube portion, applying heat and pressure to the folded surface to form a closed end, inserting the tampon into the tube, and closing the first end of the tube. The film material comprises at least one thermoplastic surface, and the mandrel has a first end extending from a revolving platform and a second end, distal the first end. The mandrel can rotate with respect to the revolving platform on which it is mounted.

The master kit is configured to provide a user a respective subkit to address associated hygienic requirements of the user.
A STORING DEVICE AND A SYSTEM FOR TRACKING ABSORPTION PRODUCTS
The invention is referring to a storing device and a system for tracking absorption products and their use, which comprises said storing device and a verification device for tracking the use of absorption products in terms of their number and time of use, and which alerts the user about the status of the storing device and of potentially hazardous use of the absorption products.
Vending machine for retaining and dispensing feminine hygiene products through a novel coin operating apparatus
A vending machine that dispense feminine hygiene products. Specifically, this invention is a coin-operated vending machine that dispenses sanitary napkins and tampons. This invention allows a user to purchase a feminine hygiene product by placing a coin or multiple coins in a slot within the vending machine and pressing a product release button. The product is then dispensed to the consumer. The apparatus also provides a mechanism for retrieving a coin in the event that the vending machine is out of a specific feminine hygiene.

Tampons and production methods are provided that provide tampons made of at least 80% cellulose-based fibers, such as cotton or viscose, without plastic top sheets. The tampons consist of cylindrically-compressed rolled strips of entangled non-woven fabric and may be made of 100% natural cellulose-based fibers, the fabric having a tensile strength that is larger than 10N/50 mm. The fabric may be folded longitudinally in various folding configurations and rolled transversely before compression to tampon dimensions.
Apparatus and method to dispense feminine hygiene products using a motion sensor
A dispenser of feminine hygiene products, including feminine pads and tampons activated by a motion sensor. A motion of a person's hand or other object within a given distance from the motion sensor will close an electronic circuit causing a motor to rotate. The motor is attached to a shaft which rotates. The shaft retains a feminine product dispenser. The feminine product dispenser transports one of the feminine hygiene products to a retrieval tray. A time delay reduces the likelihood of or prevents someone from continuously activating the motion sensor to dispense all of the products in the machine.
HEATED MENSTRUAL CUP
A heated menstrual cup includes a main cup body comprising an upper section defining a substantially circular opening and a lower section comprising a fluid collection portion defining a closed lower end; and a flexible ring configured for removable attachment to the upper section of the flexible main cup body at the open upper end and further configured to be positioned around a cervix of a female human, the flexible ring defining a channel entirely enclosed therein. The flexible ring includes a sealed air container positioned within the channel, the air container containing air and comprising a frangible shell constructed to be broken to unseal the air container and release the air into the channel; and a thermogenic composition contained within the channel in isolation from air when the sealed air container is sealed, the thermogenic composition comprising one or more components that generate heat when in contact with the air released from the air container.
APPARATUS AND METHOD TO DISPENSE SANITARY HYGIENE PRODUCTS
A dispenser of hygiene products, including feminine pads and tampons activated by a motion sensor. A motion of a person's hand or other object within a given distance from the motion sensor will close an electronic circuit causing a motor to rotate. The motor is attached to a shaft which rotates. The shaft retains a product dispenser. The product dispenser transports one of the hygiene products to a retrieval tray. A time delay reduces the likelihood of or prevents someone from continuously activating the motion sensor to dispense all of the products in the machine.
Absorbent pad for intravaginal use
An endurance athlete's tampon that eliminates a traditional string and is simpler to manufacture includes a sheet of absorbent material with a bottom edge at whose midpoint there is a downward extending tab, and wherein this tampon is formed by folding it about its lateral centerline that extends upward from the tab so that the sheet's proximal and distal edges are placed proximate one another. This folded sheet is then rolled such that its lateral centerline and tab are at the center of the rolled sheet and its proximal and distal edges are on the outer surface of the rolled sheet. This tab is configured to enable it to be used to remove the tampon after it has been placed in service.
