Urine absorbent pad
A disposable urine trap in the form of a foldable pad that envelops the male genitalia and closes around the organ to form a barrier that prevents urine from escaping the trap. The pad includes an asymmetric pair of wings that are separated by a gap and attached to the main body of the pad. The first wing is preferably rectangular in that the distal angles are substantially right angles with parallel side edges and a perpendicular distal edge, and has a length that exceeds a length of a second wing, which terminates so that the distal edge of the second wing is angled to form an obtuse and an acute angle with respect to its generally parallel sides.
AN INDIVIDUALLY PACKED SANITARY ARTICLE
The present disclosure relates to a folded sanitary article (100,200), such as a sanitary napkin or a pantiliner T the sanitary article comprises a topsheet (102,202), a backsheet (103,203) and an absorbent core (104,204) arranged between the topsheet (102,202) and the backsheet (103,203). The sanitary article (100,200) extends in a longitudinal direction (L) and in a transverse direction (T). The sanitary article (100,200) has a first longitudinal side edge (105,205), a second longitudinal side edge (106,206), a front edge (107,207) and a rear edge (108,208). The sanitary article (100,200) has a first fastening wing (109,209) extending at the first longitudinal side edge (105,205) and a second fastening wing (110,210) extending at the second longitudinal side edge (106,206). The first and second fastening wings (109,110,209,210) are asymmetrical with respect to each other, as seen along any longitudinal axis extending in the longitudinal direction (L). The absorbent core (104,204) comprises an absorbent core front edge (111,211), an absorbent core rear edge (112,212), an absorbent core first longitudinal side edge (113,213) and an absorbent core second longitudinal side edge (114,214), the absorbent core (104) having an absorbent core width (Wabs) and a maximum absorbent core width (wabsMAx). The first and the second fastening wings (109,110) of the sanitary article (100,200) are folded onto the topsheet (102,202) of the sanitary article (100,200). The folded sanitary article (100,200) has a folded article width (Wf) and the folded article width (wrs) is not more than 10 mm greater than the maximum absorbent core width (WabsMAx). The present disclosure also relates to a package including a plurality of folded sanitary articles and an array of folded sanitary articles.
Absorbent article with pivotable wings
An absorbent article can have a pair of pivotable wings. The pair of pivotable wings can be formed from a wing material which can be bonded to a backsheet layer of the absorbent article and each wing can be configured to pivot between a first wing configuration and a second wing configuration. The wing material can be provided with a wing pivot point and fold lines which can enable the pivoting between the first wing configuration and the second wing configuration.
Feminine Hygiene Article
Feminine hygiene articles are disclosed herein. The feminine hygiene articles described herein can provide easily discernable placement and orientation guides which reduce the likelihood of misapplication by the user, facilitated attachment guides which can reduce the likelihood of misapplication of the feminine pad and can also reduce the likelihood of improper attachment of the feminine pad to a panty. The feminine hygiene articles disclosed include uniquely shaped wings which can provide cues on proper attachment of the article to the panty and may help in providing sustained coverage of the feminine hygiene article to the panty which reduces the likelihood that the pad will become detached during use.
The first wing is preferably trapezoidal and a second wing having an extending distal edge.
Super comfort maxi pad
This invention relates to a disposable sanitary napkin having longitudinal curved edges and transverse ends having at least one compression line extending a long and close to the longitudinal edges, such that the pressure of the user's thighs on the product will bring about a protuberance of absorbent material towards the perineal area when worn. The product of this invention thus bring the absorbent material closer to the discharge of menstrual fluid in the absorbent middle which is the critical cause of leakage from the longitudinal edges of sanitary napkins.
Adult incontinent device
A wing for an adult incontinent device is disclosed. The adult incontinent device has a chassis with a lateral attachment surface. The wing includes a stretch laminate with at least one nonwoven layer and at least one elastic layer. The nonwoven layer and the elastic layer are bound together in face-to-face contact. The stretch laminate has at least one stretch zone and at least one non-stretch zone. The stretch laminate has no overlap portions between the stretch zone and the non-stretch zone. One end of the wing is affixed to the lateral attachment surface of the chassis.
System of pantiliners and menstrual pads
A system of pantiliners and menstrual pads that can be used to alleviate undesirable conditions associated with dysmenorrhea or other physiological conditions is provided. The pantiliners of the invention include a top layer of composite material, a ventilation layer, and a bottom layer of breathable material. The menstrual pads of the invention include a top layer of composite material, an air-laid layer, a layer of super adsorbent polymer inside the air-laid layer, a ventilation layer, and a bottom layer of breathable material. The present system of pantiliners and menstrual pads is helpful in providing a decrease of pain and other unwanted symptoms during a menstrual cycle. In another advantage, the right placement guide and the left placement guide are provided to assist in placing the menstrual pads of the invention accurately in relation to the undergarment of the user.
Water-Degradable Environmentally Friendly Sanitary Napkin
The present disclosure relates to an environmentally friendly sanitary napkin including: a permeable inner sheet configured to come into contact with a skin and allow secretions to pass therethrough; an impermeable waterproof outer sheet having the same size and shape as those of the inner sheet and bonded to the inner sheet by fusion; an absorbent pad fixedly inserted between the inner sheet and the waterproof outer sheet and configured to absorb secretions such as menstrual blood that passes through the inner sheet; and an adhesive pad inserted into an appropriate position between the absorbent pad and the waterproof outer sheet, and provided on the absorbent pad and the lower surface of the waterproof outer sheet, and configured to fix the sanitary napkin by adhesion to the inside of underwear, wherein the inner sheet, the waterproof outer sheet, the absorbent pad and the adhesive pad are degradable in water or are biodegradable.
The environmentally friendly sanitary napkin of the present disclosure is degradable by a large amount of water in a septic tank when flushed down a toilet bowl after use, and is biodegradable in soil, thus preventing environmental pollution problems.
In addition, the environmentally friendly sanitary napkin may exhibit antimicrobial effects against harmful bacteria in the vagina and exhibit an excellent effect on sanitariness by suppressing the generation of odor caused by secretions.
Sanitary pad system with two pads having offset adhesive tabs for attachment to an undergarment
A sanitary pad system includes a first pad and a second pad. The first pad has a first set of fastening tabs and the second pad has a second set of fastening tabs. The two sets of fastening tabs are offset so that, when the two pads are stacked in overlapping relationship on an undergarment, both pads are directly attached to the undergarment with the associated fastening tabs.
