The invention features a diaper apparatus that may be adaptable for use by users of different sizes, weights etc. where the apparatus may, in one aspect of an embodiment of the present invention include the use of flaps (ties) and/or chords for, among other things, fastening and adjustment.

A wearable feline waste collector includes a feline diaper assembly comprising a body portion comprising a front portion and a rear portion defining a diaper opening sized to at least accommodate a feline's tail, anus, and urinary outlet and having a nadir. Girth straps connected to the rear portion have respective fasteners. Shoulder straps connected to the front portion have respective fasteners. Each of the fasteners are configured to attach to any other one of the fasteners. The assembly is shaped and sized to form a removable harness for a feline. A feline diaper is attached to the diaper opening and is shaped in a pouch comprising an entry aperture and an interior pocket having a bottom that, responsive to the diaper being attached to the diaper opening and the assembly being worn by the feline, the bottom is lower to ground than the nadir.

An absorbent article and compatible garments for use on infants, children, or incontinent individuals. The absorbent article comprises a front part (21), rear part (22), intermediate crotch part (24), and front and rear fastening devices (30A-30B, 28A-28D). The compatible garments comprise a waist belt with front and rear fastening devices (44A-44B, 46A-46D) and features such as sleeves for legs (62A-62B) or a skirt (72), such that when such a garment is placed on a wearer, the wearer's groin and buttocks are uncovered. The absorbent article is fastened to the waist belt of the garment to cover the wearer's groin and buttocks. Thus, the absorbent article can be quickly attached to, detached from, partially attached to, or partially detached from the garment without removing the garment from the wearer or restricting the wearer's position for diaper changes or access to a toilet. Since the absorbent article is compatible with a plurality of garments, such benefits remain regardless of climate, season, or stylistic choices.

An absorbent article includes front and rear portions and a fastener for connecting side edges of the front and rear portions. The fastener includes a grasping element attached to an outer surface of the fastener to provide for grasping by the wearer or caregiver. The grasping element may be formed of flexible material and may have a variety of configurations, including a tube, a flange, a tunnel or a pocket.

An absorbent article (10) can include a fastening system including a primary fastening system (82) and a secondary fastening system (84). The primary fastening system (82) can include at least one primary first fastening component (86) and at least one primary second fastening component (88). The secondary fastening system (84) can include a first secondary first fastening component (96) and at least one secondary second fastening component (98). The primary fastening system has a primary fastening component disposed in the second waist region and a primary receiving component disposed in the first waist region and operatively engageable with the primary fastening component. An absorbent article includes a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core positioned at least partially intermediate the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent article includes a first waist region, a second waist region, and a fully removable fastening member configured to join a portion of the first waist region to the second waist region. The fastening member includes a grasp region either partially laterally outboard of the first fastener or laterally outboard of the first fastener in the first end region. The grasp region has a different physical property than a remainder of the fastening member.

There is provided herein an incontinence diaper (2) which has rear lateral sections (22) of the incontinence diaper (2) which can be brought into overlapping arrangement with a front region (12) exterior, to which the lateral sections can then be removably adhered via respective closure means (28). The rear lateral sections (22) have an elastic region (42), and the extension (Q) of the rear lateral sections (22) comprises a proximal half (38) which adjoins the rear longitudinal edge (18) and a freely ending distal half (40) in the transverse direction (10), and wherein, the respective elastic region (42) is arranged completely within the proximal half (38) and has a distance of maximally 30 mm from the rear longitudinal edge (18) in the transverse direction (10), and each rear lateral section (22) is substantially non-stretchable in the entire distal half (40).
