The present invention relates to an incontinence article for absorption of bodily excretions, comprising an at least regionally liquid-permeable topsheet, a substantially liquid-impermeable backsheet, and an absorption body arranged between the topsheet and the backsheet, the incontinence article comprising a pH regulator between the topsheet and the backsheet at least regionally, characterized in that the pH regulator comprises monosodium citrate or disodium citrate.

The invention relates to the use of a urease inhibitor in an absorbent article to maintain the pH of the wearer's skin in a range of 4.0 to 6.0, wherein the urease inhibitor is provided between the topsheet and the absorbent core and/or is provided in the absorbent core. The invention also relates to absorbent articles comprising a urease inhibitor.

A disposable absorbent article having a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet is described. The disposable absorbent article includes an odor control composition having a preservative, a surfactant, methylated beta-cyclodextrin (m-BCD), and perfume.

Described herein is an absorbent article including (a) an absorbent core, a first nonwoven material, a second nonwoven material, and a bond area; and (b) a polymeric filler composition disposed within the bond area. A pants-type disposable diaper includes an anti-odor tape that has a first gas barrier layer coupled to the pants-type disposable diaper and a second gas barrier layer that is stuck in a separable manner to either front or back surface of the first gas barrier layer via an adhesive agent containing an anti-odor agent. The present invention relates to a sanitary diaper or undergarment having a body shield that may be made of a plurality of materials and may be infused with a plurality of substances that have anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and moisturizing properties. The body shield may be hypoallergenic, scented or non-scented. The interior of the body shield has an adhesive flap that can be applied to the genital area or hip area of the wearer, in order to seal the genital area or hip areas of the wearer from any human waste that accumulates within the diaper.
