INTEGRAL GRAFT INTERBODY DEVICES
An interbody spinal implant including a body portion having a superior side, an inferior side and a lateral side connecting the superior side and the inferior side, at least one of the superior side or the inferior side comprises a bone contacting surface operable to be coupled to an anatomical structure of a patient; and a plurality of uniform features formed in the bone contacting surface, wherein each uniform feature of the plurality of uniform features comprise a planar peak or a round peak and are dimensioned to increase a surface area of the bone contacting surface to promote bone growth.
MONOBLOCK EXPANDABLE INTERBODY IMPLANT
A unibody implant movable between an expanded position and a contracted position is disclosed. The unibody implant may include a unitary expandable body defined by an inferior portion and a superior portion that are connected together. In various embodiments, a set screw may be rotatably supported by the body and configured to move a plug having a first inclined surface facing the distal side. In various embodiments, the set screw may be movable in the longitudinal direction towards the distal side upon rotation of the set screw along the rotation axis, for example. In various embodiments, movement of the set screw urges the plug against the superior portion thereby expanding a vertical distance between the superior and inferior sides of the body. In some embodiments, the plug may include a stabilizing element configured to transfer compressive forces between the superior portion and inferior portion.
SPINE STABILIZATION DEVICE
Technologies are generally provided for devices, systems, and methods to provide spinal fixation, spinal stabilization, and/or spinal fusion. Example devices may include a first end and a second end with a middle portion extending between the first and second end. The first end may be configured to be in contact with a portion of a first or upper vertebra and the second end may be configured to be in contact with a portion of a second or lower vertebra in an adjacent vertebral pair. Portions of the vertebra which may be in contact with the device may include lamia, processes, vertebral bodies, and facet joints. The example devices may include bone engagement features, such as screws or similar fasteners, to enhance stabilization and fixation when in contact with the vertebrae. Additionally, the devices may include a bone integration feature to promote bone growth and to facilitate fusion between the vertebrae.
Spinal implant system and method
A spinal implant includes a first member that is curved along an axis between opposite ends. The first member defines a bore and a first thread. A second member is positioned in the bore and is curved between opposite ends. The second member includes a second thread engaged with the first thread. The second thread includes a series of gear teeth. A third member is positioned in the bore and is curved between opposite ends and includes opposite ends. A driver includes a gear configured to engage the gear teeth such that rotation of the driver relative to the first member and the second member rotates the second member relative to the first member to translate the second member relative to the first member along the axis. Systems and methods are disclosed.
METHOD AND DEVICES FOR IMPLANTATION OF BIOLOGIC CONSTRUCTS
Methods and apparatus for delivering a sheet-like implant to a target site including a means of deploying and orienting the sheet-like implant within the body.
Implant With Protected Fusion Zones
An implant may include a body having a first portion and a second portion and a structural member having a central member curve. In addition, the structural member may be exposed on an outer surface of the implant. Further, the central member curve may include a winding segment, and the winding segment of the central member curve may wind around a fixed path extending from the first portion of the body to the second portion of the body. Also, the central member curve may make one or more full turns around the fixed path. And, the structural member may have a member diameter at the winding segment, wherein the winding segment has a winding diameter corresponding with the full turn around the fixed path and the member diameter is greater than the winding diameter.
Spinal implant system
A prosthesis for spinal surgery includes a spacer adapted to be secured into the bone and attached to one of a plurality of configuration plates. The configuration plates are interchangeable and each one is configured to utilize a different combination of bone screws, anchors or both. The prosthesis may further include a retaining mechanism to prevent bone screws and/or anchors from backing out.
Dynamic disc assembly
A dynamic disc assembly has a superior end plate, an inferior end plate, and a core. The core has surfaces of an annular Fresnel shape and a linear Fresnel-like shape combined to control the dynamic range of motion (ROM) movement arranged to match anatomical ROM. The core is interposed between and held against interior surfaces of the superior end plate and the inferior end plate. The assembly further has a pair of coupling cords, one coupling cord at each lateral end of the superior and inferior end plates wherein each lateral end of each end plate has one or more cord connections attached and affixed to the coupling cord to form and retain the dynamic disc assembly.
CRUCIATE RETAINING KNEE IMPLANTS AND METHODS FOR IMPLANTING CRUCIATE RETAINING KNEE IMPLANTS
The present invention relates to cruciate ligament retaining knee implants, and instruments and methods for implanting cruciate ligament retaining knee implants.
Interphalangeal arthrodesis implant
This interphalangeal arthrodesis implant comprises a proximal anchor portion intended to be engaged and anchored in the medullary canal of a first phalanx sectioned along a first osteotomy plane, the proximal anchor portion including a plurality of proximal anchor branches each provided with at least one bone anchor element; and a distal anchor portion, connected to the proximal anchor portion, intended to be engaged and anchored in the medullary canal of a second phalanx sectioned along a second osteotomy plane, the distal anchor portion including a plurality of distal anchor branches each provided with at least one bone anchor element. The distal anchor portion comprises a stop portion including a stop surface intended to bear against a sectioned surface of the first phalanx extending along the first osteotomy plane.
