MECHANICAL PROSTHETIC LIMB
The present invention provides a mechanical prosthetic limb, which relates to the technical field of medical devices. The mechanical prosthetic limb includes a prosthetic limb shank, a fixed component for connecting the prosthetic limb shank with a human body, a power-driven first drive mechanism that is installed on the prosthetic limb shank, and a prosthetic limb sole that is connected to the bottom of the prosthetic limb shank; the fixed component is rotationally connected with the prosthetic limb shank through the first drive mechanism; and the prosthetic limb shank is rotationally connected with the prosthetic limb sole through the first drive mechanism. It can relieve the burdens of the disabled in the automatic advance way, thereby improving convenience.
TRANSFEMORAL LEVEL INTERFACE SYSTEM USING COMPLIANT MEMBERS
A transfemoral prosthetic level socket system for a user's lower limb comprising modular socket components fitted to the individual user's residual limb having a mounting point for an attachment, at least one compliant member attached to at least one stabilizing unit, and at least one second compliant member attached to at least one stabilizing unit wherein the first compliant member and the second compliant member work in cooperation with the stabilizing unit(s) to control bone position and support the limb within the interface.
Socket system for a prosthesis, prosthesis and production method
The invention relates to a socket system for a prosthesis. The socket system including a prosthesis socket which has a proximal opening for receiving a residual limb and a distal end and which is made, at least partially, of a first fiber-reinforced plastic. The socket system also includes an adapter element which is arranged on the distal end of the prosthesis socket and is designed in such a manner that a distal prosthesis element can be secured to the adapter element. The adapter element includes a base body which is made, at least partially, of a second fiber-reinforced plastic.
Magnetic electrical connector for assistive devices
A magnetic and electrical interface that may be used with an assistive device. The interface comprises a proximal connector and a distal connector. The proximal connector may be attached to a liner for a residual limb and the distal connector may be attached to a hard socket or other aspect of an assistive device. Other aspects of and uses for the connector interface are also disclosed.
FLEXIBLE PROSTHETIC COVER
A prosthetic cover for a prosthetic support element can include a substantially cylindrical hollow body with a first end and a second end and sized to fit around a support element of a prosthesis. A first flexible end seal and a second flexible end seal can each attach with the substantially cylindrical hollow body at the first and second ends, respectively, and connect the hollow body with the support element of the prosthesis by deforming about the support element when the prosthetic cover is installed around the support element.
PROSTHETIC WITH INTERCHANGEABLE LINER PADS
The prosthetic device is a general use prosthetic device for shower and daily mobility applications which provides a semi-custom fit. The semi-custom fitment of the leg height and anatomical sizing of the affected leg amputation are possible via configurable liner pads which can be interchanged within the support socket based on need by the wearer. The device is capable of being used on either the left or right leg with no modifications to the device and can be secured to the wearers residual limb via a friction fit between the socket liner and limb. Furthermore, an ergonomic handle and grip provides another point of control for the device to assure safety and security.
DEXTEROUS HAND
This application discloses a dexterous hand. The dexterous hand uses the anatomical structure of human hands for reference. The joints adopt dual-actuator antagonistic drive, which gives consideration to both compliant operation and robustness. The tendon joint and tendon sheath fixator are used for easy disassembly of hands and wrists. The metacarpophalangeal joints of each finger have the DOF of circumduction of, so that the fingers can automatically adapt to the complex surface. The axes of the multi-degrees of freedom joints are orthogonal, which is beneficial to control and motion planning calculation. The dexterous hand is ideal for handling objects of complex shape smoothly, facilitating production, disassembly and maintenance.
Flexible prosthetic cover
A prosthetic cover (104) for a prosthetic support element (102) can include a substantially cylindrical hollow body (106) with a first end and a second end and sized to fit around a support element of a prosthesis. A first flexible end seal (108) and a second flexible end seal (110) can each attach with the substantially cylindrical hollow body at the first and second ends, respectively, and connect the hollow body with the support element of the prosthesis by deforming about the support element when the prosthetic cover is installed around the support element.
WATERPROOF PROSTHETIC KNEE AND REMOVABLE COVERING THEREFOR
A prosthetic knee can include a variable-torque magnetorheological (MR) actuator assembly or braking system, a frame and an electronics assembly or system that also serves as a mount for the knee actuator and facilitates in monitoring and controlling the operation of the knee actuator. The prosthetic knee system advantageously provides resistive forces to substantially simulate the position and motion of a natural knee joint during ambulation and/or other locomotory activities performed by the amputee. The prosthetic knee can be enclosed in a waterproof compartment. An outer cover can be configured to fit around the waterproof cover of the prosthetic knee.
