Prosthetic attachment system
A prosthetic attachment system includes an insert arranged for connection to a prosthetic liner, and an attachment unit arranged for connection to a distal end of a prosthetic socket. The attachment unit comprises a body defining an axis and a central opening for selectively receiving the insert. The body carries a plurality of locking elements that are distributed circumferentially about the axis and radially repositionable relative to the axis. A release mechanism is slidably positioned on an outer surface of the body to move the prosthetic attachment system between a locked configuration in which the locking elements are radially repositioned to lock the insert in the central opening of the body and an unlocked configuration in which the insert is released from the central opening.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONSTRUCTING A PROSTHESIS
The invention relates to a method for carrying out a prosthesis set-up, wherein multiple components are arranged close to each other, the method comprising the a) providing at least one marking on each of the at least one components, b) arranging various components close to each other, c) detecting a position and/or an orientation of the at least one marking of the closely arranged components by means of at least one optical sensor, d) determining the actual position and/or the actual orientation of the closely arranged components relative to one another using the detected position and/or orientation of the at least one marking, and e) comparing the determined actual position and/or actual orientation with a target position and/or target orientation.
System and method for controlling a prosthetic device
The present invention discloses a system and method for motion recognition and control of a prosthetic device. The system of the present invention uses a movement detector for detecting dimensional motion of a non-disabled physical appendage and generating motion information based on this detecting. The system further includes a microcontroller adapted to be connected to the movement detector for receiving and processing the motion information transmitted from the one or more movement detectors. The system controls a prosthetic device which has actuators that are configured to actuate motion of the prosthetic device based on the processing of the motion information.
SUPPLY SYSTEM FOR ORTHOPAEDIC TECHNOLOGY COMPONENTS AND METHOD
A supply system for at least one orthopedic technology component, which has at least one electronic and/or electrical device and has a supply connection and/or a radio device for receiving data and/or electrical energy. The supply system also includes a holder for the orthopedic technology component, which has a supply device, and which is compatible with the supply connection and/or the radio device, for supplying the orthopedic technology component with data and/or energy. The invention further relates to a system consisting of a supply system and an orthopedic technology device, and to a method for supplying the system with data and/or energy.
Adjustable socket system
An adjustable socket system includes a plurality of shell components and longitudinal supports connected to a base and is movable between an open configuration to loosen the fit of the adjustable socket system, and a closed configuration to secure the fit of the adjustable socket system on residual limb received therein. A tightening system includes a tensioning unit having a handle defining a moment arm rotatable about a rotation axis, and a tensioning element operatively coupled to the handle via a movable connection point and to the shell components via a control point. Rotation of the handle displaces the movable connection point and the tensioning element relative to the control point to move the adjustable socket system to the closed configuration.

The shell components include a first shell component having distal and proximal parts that are longitudinally displaceable with respect to one another such that a length of the first shell component is adjustable between a first length and a second length different than the first length.
