NIPPLE AREOLAR GRAFTING METHODS AND APPARATUS
Nipple areolar grafting methods and apparatus are described herein where one variation of a tissue transfer apparatus may generally comprise a first support structure having an elliptical or circular configuration sized to encircle a region of tissue and defining a first opening through the first support structure, a first plurality of piercing features projecting from a first side of the first support structure, a second support structure having an elliptical or circular configuration sized to encircle the region of tissue and defining a second opening which is further configured to encircle the first support structure, and a second plurality of piercing features projecting from a first side of the second support structure such that the first and second piercing features are adjacent to one another.
Method for manufacturing a breast prosthesis
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a breast prosthesis, in which a first dispersion of a first granular material is introduced into a cross-linkable silicone compound. The silicone compound subsequently is cured in order to form a prosthesis body, wherein the prosthesis body is heated to a shrinking temperature which lies above the melting point of the thermoplastic material.
Nipple areola complex stencil
Embodiments of the invention include a breast nipple areola complex tattoo stencil comprising first, second and third stencil sections. The first stencil section defines an areola area. The second stencil section defines a nipple area and tubercle areas. One or more registration elements on the first and/or second stencil sections enable registration of the second stencil section to the first stencil section. The third stencil section defines one or both of a nipple shading area and a nipple highlight area. One or more registration elements on the third and/or second stencil sections enable registration of the third stencil section to the second stencil section.
AERATED EXTERNAL MAMMARY PROSTHESIS
The invention relates to an external mammary prosthesis (1) comprising a framework (2) made of flexible material having the shape of a breast, said framework (2) defining an internal cavity and having, at a proximal end, an annular base (3) conformed to the shape of the chest of a person and, at a distal end, a solid disc zone (4) having the shape of a nipple and its adjacent areola, the disc zone (4) defining a sagittal axis, the annular base (3) being connected to the disc zone (4) by sinuous arms (5) made of flexible material, said arms (5) demarcating the internal cavity and being spaced apart from each other in order to define aeration zones (6) extending into the internal cavity.
Nipple implant system
A nipple implant system wherein a nipple prosthetic device is attached to a microdermal anchor without the need for invasive surgery. The microdermal anchor is inserted through a hole punched at a selected locus. The nipple prosthetic device is configured for attachment to the microdermal anchor. An areola may be tattooed around the locus or the nipple prosthetic device may include a skirt simulating an areola to make the construction complete.
SIMULATED FLOW-CONTROL BREAST FEEDING SYSTEM
System comprising of a simulating flow control breastfeeding where a tube linking a refillable housing chamber to a prosthetic nipple, an analyzing module linked to a sensor to determine a physical, physiological, or emotional state of the infant/user by mapping the received input parameter with a pre-stored set of parameters from the parameter store via the analyzing module and dynamically interact with the infant/user based on a determined output to promote a non-latching simulating breastfeeding experience to prevent bruised, sore nipples or engorged breasts.
Simulated breast feeding system
The breastfeeding device present in the invention, simulates natural breastfeeding experience and delivers fluid, milk or infant formula to the nursing infant in a contactless or latch free manner than any prior art in this field. This device integrates physical sensors to the breastfeeding device and includes a neck strap, refillable housing chamber that contains fluid, a tubing that connects the housing chamber to a prosthetic nipple via a sealing attachment and a prosthetic nipple for infant latching to nurse. The invention is a notable step forward in creating an effective, safe and contactless nursing which mitigates and prevents bruised, sore nipples or engorged breasts.
COVER DEVICE AND METHOD OF APPLYING COVER DEVICE FOR CONSTRUCTING AND PROTECTING A NIPPLE/AREOLA COMPLEX
A cover device may include a body with an inner surface and an outer surface, each of the inner surface and the outer surface extending from a first end face of the body to a second end face of the body. The inner surface may define a channel extending through the body from the first end face to the second end face. The body may define a plurality of grooves extending from the first end face to the second end face. Portions of each groove may be defined by the inner surface, the first end face, the outer surface, and the second end face. Each of the body, the inner surface, and the outer surface may be configured to elastically deform relative to at least an axis of the channel.
NIPPLE COVER
A nipple cover comprising: an adhesive portion and a non-adhesive portion. The non-adhesive portion is placed near the center of the adhesive nipple cover, in order to create a combined nipple cover with a non-adhesive zone near the center of the adhesive face of the nipple cover. The resulting nipple cover may be placed directly onto a wearer's body to comfortably provide protection and reduced nipple visibility to outside observers.
