Method for adapting the heel height of a prosthetic foot
A prosthetic foot comprising a foot part, a proximal connecting member which is swiveled to the foot part and an adjustment device with which the foot part can be adjusted relative to the connecting member, and at least one position sensor being associated with the adjustment device and being coupled to a signal generating element.
Prosthetic knee
A prosthetic knee for active users has a locking head generally parallel to a vertical axis of the prosthetic knee, a chassis, and a plurality of links connecting the locking head to the chassis. The knee includes a swing control mechanism having a flexion stop connected to the chassis and arranged to control the flexion angle of the knee. The flexion stop extends outwardly from the chassis and obliquely relative to the vertical axis. The knee has an audible feedback mechanism for providing the user with information about the location of the knee. The knee may also have a block lock forming a manually activated mechanism allowing load bearing in a flexed position.
ARM PROSTHETIC DEVICE
A prosthetic arm apparatus including a plurality of segments that provide a user of the prosthetic arm apparatus with substantially the same movement capability and function as a human arm. The segments are connectable to one another and connectable to a prosthetic support apparatus that may be adorned by the user. Each segment of the plurality of segments provides a portion of the movement capability, enabling the plurality of connected segments connected to the harness mount to provide substantially the same movement capability as that lacking in the user.
PROSTHETIC KNEE JOINT FOR AN ABOVE-THE-KNEE AMPUTEE
Prosthetic knee joint includes: proximal part mobile in rotation around first axis between extended position and flexion position of prosthetic knee joint; the proximal part being mobile in first direction of rotation from extended position to flexion position, at least one part that is fixed when proximal part is moved in first direction of rotation; link part, arranged to connect the proximal part and part, and presenting contact surface with part; the link part and part being arranged so, when proximal part is moved in first direction of rotation, link part slides on contact surface being subjected to first friction force, when proximal part is moved in second direction of rotation, the link part slides on contact surface being subjected to second friction force strictly lower than first friction force.
Vacuum pump systems for prosthetic limbs and methods of using the same
Pump systems for use in suspension of a prosthetic device from a residual limb and methods of suspending a prosthetic device from a residual limb are disclosed. The pump systems include a mechanically activated pump having a first compression member coupled to a second compression member, a compressible bladder disposed between the first and second compression members, and coupling elements that engage and couple together the first and second compression members. The mechanically activated pump may be connected with an electrically activated pump within a fluid circuit of a hybrid pump system to provide vacuum engagement between a prosthetic device and a residual limb.
Devices, systems, and methods for socket fit management
Disclosed herein are devices, systems, and methods for measuring socket fit in lower limb prostheses and detecting motion of a residual limb relative to a prosthetic socket. Also disclosed herein are methods for developing a socket-fit detection system for sock management that can be applied to adjustable socket systems.
METHOD FOR ADAPTING THE HEEL HEIGHT OF A PROSTHETIC FOOT
The invention relates to a prosthetic foot comprising a foot part, a proximal connecting means which is swiveled to the foot part and an adjustment device with which the foot part can be adjusted relative to the connecting means, at least one position sensor being associated with the adjustment device and being coupled to a signal generating element.

MEDICAL APPLIANCE FOR A JOINT OF A PERSON AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A MEDICAL APPLIANCE
Medical appliance (9, 9a, 9b, 9c) for a joint (1) of a person (10), which has at least two parts (11) which are to be placed on the joint (1) and can be moved with respect to one another by the joint (1) and at least one detection device (13) for detecting a relative movement of the parts (11), wherein the medical appliance (9, 9a, 9b, 9c) comprises an evaluation device (16), having: a determination unit (17) for determining, from detection data of the detection device (13), a range of movement (5) of the joint (1), which range of movement is actually used when the medical appliance (9, 9a, 9b, 9c) is worn, a comparison unit (18) for comparing the range of movement (5) used with a desired range of movement (6), and a support unit (19) for determining support information guiding the person (10) to the most extensive use possible of the desired range of movement (6), said support information being dependent on the result of the comparison.
The medical appliance (9, 9a, 9b, 9c) further has an output device (20) for outputting the support information to the person (10).
