Presented is a belly wrap wearable by a postpartum woman The belly wrap includes a wrap body having a first side, and a second side. The wrap body includes a back support section with a pocket disposed thereof, a first side section, and a second side section attached on either side of the back support section, and an abdomen support section attached to one side of the second side section. The abdomen support section includes a pocket configured on the first side of the wrap body, and a first matting means configured on the second side of the wrap body. The first side section further includes finger-like projections extending therefrom. The finger-like projections include a head incorporating a second mating means. The second mating means removably engages with the first mating means to ensure the belly wrap is wrapped around the abdomen and back of the woman.
Heating devices
A heating device includes a heating unit and device electronics. The heating unit is configured to deliver heat to a user's body. The heating unit includes a substrate and a heating element supported by the substrate. The device electronics are coupled to the heating element and are configured to store a first heating profile that includes data indicating how power should be delivered to the heating element over a first period of time. The device electronics are configured to deliver power to the heating element according to the first heating profile. The device electronics are configured to wirelessly receive a second heating profile from an external computing device. The second heating profile includes data indicating how power should be delivered to the heating element over a second period of time. The device electronics are configured to deliver power to the heating element according to the second heating profile.
Vibration device
Methods and systems for providing distributed vibration therapy. The vibration device includes a plurality of vibration motors that are located along a grid. The vibration motors are embedded on a basal pad. A primary diffuser overlays the embedded the vibration motors. The device is portable and can be adaptable to a target body part.
UNIVERSAL WRAP FOR SECURING A THERMAL PACK
A system and method for providing a universal wrap that can apply a thermal pack to many different regions of a patient's body. The universal wrap is provided in a standardized form. The medical provider is provided with options to modify the standardized form in order to adapt the wrap to many different applications.
PERSONAL COOLING AND HEATING APPARATUS AND SYSTEM
A personal heating and cooling system comprising a chair, a pad comprising a length of flexible tubing and at least one heating element housed in an interior area of the pad, a pump configured to pump a volume of coolant (e.g., water) through the length of the flexible tubing, an intake trunk coupled to the pump and configured to deliver a volume of water from a reservoir (e.g., from a thermal insulated cooler) and a battery pack operably engaged with the pump and the at least one heating element. In certain embodiments, the pad may be integral to the chair and comprise seat and back portions of the chair. In certain embodiments, the pad may be removably coupled to the chair or other seating surface or may be laid flat.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR WEARABLE HEATING PACK
A device and method for a wearable heat pack is presented. The heat pack provides a therapeutic application of heat or cold to a user using phase-change material to provide a desired temperature and is made of a soft and flexible material that is comfortable and pleasant to use, but is strong enough to be reused multiple times. The heat pack device includes a sealed silicone envelope. An infill is contained in the envelope and includes a phase-change material for providing a temperature range over a period of time. The method includes heating the heat pack device, placing the heat pack device in a pocket of a garment, and placing the garment on a user to position the heat pack device in contact with the user, wherein the heat pack device includes a phase change material and further wherein the heating creates a phase-change of the phase-change material.
COLD/HEAT-ASSISTED DISTRIBUTED WAVE VIBRATION THERAPY
Methods and systems for providing pain therapy by utilizing cold/heat-assisted distributed vibration therapy. The pain therapy device includes a plurality of vibration motors that are located along a grid. The device is portable and can be adaptable to the body part requiring pain therapy.
BACK SUPPORT DEVICES WITH INTEGRATED THERMAL THERAPY AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
An integrated storage pouch apparatus for a back support and thermal therapy device for supporting and applying thermal therapy to a user's back which includes a back support member having a first surface and an opposing second surface, the first surface configured to face and support a user's back, a thermal therapy storage compartment integrally formed between the first and second surfaces of the back support member and configured to store a thermal pack, first and second adjustable strap members coupled to opposite ends of the back support member, each of the first and second adjustable strap members are configured to wrap around a user's knee, wherein the back support member folds inside out to through the thermal therapy storage compartment to form a strap storage compartment configured to receive and store the first and second adjustable strap members. The combined back support and thermal therapy apparatus provides thermal therapy to the user, while at the same time using the user's knees to help support the user in a proper healthy posture, when sitting.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SPINAL COOLING
A spine cooling device is configured to hold the evaporative cooling textile in contact with a wearer's skin, particularly in a location between the wearer's hips and extending toward the wearer's tailbone. The spine cooling device has a pocket to hold the evaporative cooling textile, which textile can be periodically re-wetted while the spine cooling device remains in place on the wearer. The spine cooling device facilitates direct contact between the evaporative cooling textile and the wearer's skin, and is worn beneath the wearer's clothes. However, the device includes a water resistant layer placed to prevent the evaporative cooling textile from wetting the wearer's clothes.
