Temperature variant stockings
11484445 · 2022-11-01 ·

Temperature variant compression stockings are three-in-one stockings that address needs both in the sports world and the medical field. The temperature variant stockings may help cool the skin while exerting a desired compressive force; another version of the temperature variant stockings may actually retain heat while also exerting a desired compressive force. The stockings are available where the temperature variant components are in contact with the user's skin while the compression yarns are knitted onto the outside of the stocking. A style is also available with alternating strips, with either the cooling yarns or the heat retaining yarns running vertically and parallel to strips of compression yarns. Antimicrobial particles are infused into the cooling or heating yarns to guard again infections.

A fungal infection treatment includes a container comprised of a thermally conductive material. In this way the container can be heated by the boiled water when the boiled water is poured from the cup into the container. A cover is positionable on the container to close the container to inhibit the boiled water from being spilled from the container. A drape is provided that has an opening extending therethrough. In this way the drape can be positioned on a respective one of the user's appendages having the opening exposing a nail on the respective appendage. The container is positionable in the opening when the drape is positioned on the appendage. In this way the container can transfer heat from the boiled water to the nail on the respective appendage for treating a fungal infection of the nail bed.

Apparatus and Method for Treatment of Wounds and Skin Medical Conditions at a Predetermined Skin Area

A system for for treatment of wounds consists of a treatment housing, a fluid delivery mechanism for supplying debridement fluids to the wound treatment area, an evacuation mechanism for evacuation of debris from the treatment chamber. A handheld device is connected to the treatment housing, wherein its interior accommodates a laser source, a scanning device, an image recording device and at least one sensors/detectors, a control unit having a microprocessor for controlling operation of the system. The sensors detect concentration of various substances in the wound, and microprocessor analyzes data obtained by the sensors and generates signals to adjust parameters of the laser, the liquid dispensing nozzles and the suction outlet to optimize removal of necrotic tissue so as to ultimately to promote wound healing.
