MASK AND SKIN CARE DEVICE INCLUDING SAME
A mask, according to an embodiment, comprises: a first wiring disposed on a first base layer; a piezoelectric element disposed on the first wiring; a second wiring disposed on the piezoelectric element; a second base layer disposed on the second wiring; a protective layer disposed between the first and second base layers and surrounding the first wire, the second wire, and the piezoelectric element; and a control unit which controls a driving frequency of the piezoelectric element. The control unit controls the driving frequency of the piezoelectric element in a frequency band defined as a first range, and the temperature of the piezoelectric element changes by means of the control of the driving frequency of the control unit.
Heat transfer vest with hook and loop securement
The present invention comprises a heat transfer vest. The vest is configured to mount a plurality of heat transfer packs on its interior surface. In the preferred embodiments the appropriate portions of the interior surface are covered in a hook-compatible material. In these versions, the thermal transfer packs include one or more hook panels that are used to attach the packs to the interior surface.
WOUND AND THERAPY COMPRESS AND DRESSING
A method of providing moisture therapy to a subject by applying a moist therapy compress against a treated body portion. The moist therapy compress includes a fluid-permeable shell, a flexible backing fastened to the shell to define an enclosure, and a hydrophilic zeolite fill granules loosely contained within the enclosure. The therapy compress is exposed to a source of moisture to cause absorption of water into the hydrophilic zeolite, and the moisture is delivered from the hydrophilic zeolite through the fluid permeable shell to the treated body portion.
HEAD TRAUMA BANDAGE CAP AND METHOD
An emergency hemostatic head trauma bandage cap with a strap system and method of use, which, when applied to the head, delivers minimal pressure to control bleeding, doesn't compromise cervical spine immobilization, allows for fast and effective application of cooling gel to control intracranial/internal swelling or hot packs to prevent hypothermia in non-trauma situations, doesn't come apart during treatment and transport, and doesn't require a caregiver to re-wrap the dressing.
Complementary Alternative Medicine Cold Compress Temple Massager
A temple massager including first and second flexible arcuate arms, each having a proximal portion connected to a handle and a distal portion, each of said distal portions having tip retention structure configured to capture and retain first and second pressure members; a selectively removable pressure member is disposed on each of the tip retention structures. The pressure members are fabricated from cold compress material and may include a compartment for containing a fluid or gel cold compress composition. A tension adjustment mechanism is disposed between the arcuate arms proximate the handle to adjust the spacing between the pressure members and thereby adjust pressure applied to a user's temples.
Liquid Aloe and Polyacrylamide Cold Pack
Improvements in the cold pack with a sustained temperature of between 17-40 degrees Fahrenheit for over 2 hours and as long as 9 hours. The aloe and polyacrylamide cold pack can be configured so it does not continually condense or drip water for over 2 hours when using the ingredients of Ammonium C12-C15, Pareth Sulfate Ammonium C12-C15, Pareth Sulfate, Sodium Chloride, Poloxamer 124 DMDM Hydantoin Pent sodium Pentatate, Sodium Bisulfite. The main ingredients in regulating the ice pack temperature, longevity and hardness is the aloe, H2O and polyacrylamide ratio.
Heat Transfer Vest with Hook and Loop Securement
A heat transfer system that may be used to absorb heat from a human user. A wearable vest is provided. The innermost surface of the vest is covered in hook-compatible material. One or more thermal transfer packs are configured to be attached to the vest. One or more hook panels on each thermal transfer pack is used to stick the thermal transfer pack directly to the innermost surface of the vest.
Adhesive sheet for cooling
The present invention relates to an adhesive sheet for cooling which preferably maintains a cooling effect utilizing the heat of vaporization of water and can exert a persistent high cooling effect. The adhesive sheet for cooling a hydrous polymer gel (A) and a fiber sheet (B) laminated thereon: the hydrous polymer gel (A) having a moisture content of 65% by mass or more and 95% by mass or less, the fiber sheet (B) having a thickness of 0.001 mm or more and 1 mm or less, a basis weight of 3 g/m.sup.2 or more and 70 g/m.sup.2 or less, and a water absorbency test value of from 1 to 16,000 seconds; wherein the adhesive sheet has an amount of moisture of 585 g/m.sup.2 or more and 1,700 g/m.sup.2 or less.
HEATING PATCH FOR SKIN CARE
A heating patch for skin care including a substrate unit; an application electrode unit formed on the substrate unit in a predetermined pattern, and which includes a first electrode and a second electrode to which power supplied from the outside is applied; a heating unit including first and second heating electrodes, which respectively extend a predetermined length from the first and second electrodes so as to face each other at a certain length without being electrically connected, and a plurality of conductive heating materials formed to have predetermined areas in an overlapping part in which the first and second heating electrodes face each other and generate heat while allowing the first and second heating electrodes to communicate with each other during application of power; and a pair of cover members arranged on both surfaces of the substrate unit to prevent external exposure of the applied electrode unit and heating unit.
