Wound Dressings and Systems with Low-Flow Therapeutic Gas Sources for Topical Wound Therapy and Related Methods
This disclosure includes wound dressings and systems with low-flow, high-concentration therapeutic gas sources for topical wound therapy and related methods. Some dressings, which are configured to be coupled to tissue to facilitate delivery of therapeutic gas to the tissue, comprise a manifold that defines a plurality of gas passageways, the manifold configured to allow communication of therapeutic gas to the tissue; a sorbent material configured to be disposed above or below the manifold and to capture exudate; and a gas-occlusive layer configured to be disposed over the manifold and the sorbent material and coupled to the tissue such that an interior volume containing the manifold and the sorbent material is defined between the gas-occlusive layer and the tissue and the gas-occlusive layer limits escape of therapeutic gas from the interior volume.
NANOMODIFIED TRANSFER DRAPE FOR EPIDERMAL GRAFTING
In one aspect, a dressing for transferring skin grafts from a donor site to a recipient site is disclosed, which comprises a substrate having a surface configured for contact with one or more epidermal skin grafts, a plurality of capture sites distributed across said substrate surface, wherein each of said capture sites is configured for capturing at least one epidermal skin graft, and a plurality of topographical features distributed over said substrate surface and coupled to at least one of said capture sites so as to provide at least one of inducing proliferation and facilitating migration of keratinocytes in the captured epidermal skin grafts to surrounding tissue.

In some non-limiting examples, a system for stimulating tissue growth at a tissue site may include an interactive body including a body mass and a tissue contact surface configured to contact the tissue site. A plurality of struts and a plurality of voids may be exposed at the tissue contact surface, and may define a tissue interface pattern at the tissue contact surface. The tissue interface pattern may be configured to engage the tissue site and to create tissue deformation in combination with the body mass. Also provided are other systems, apparatus, and methods suitable for stimulating tissue growth.
A WOUND DRESSING FOR COMBINED NEGATIVE PRESSURE AND FLUID DELIVERY SYSTEM
A multi-action wound dressing for accelerated wound healing by means of multi-therapeutic action is disclosed. The dressing comprises a porous sheet (101); two flexible sheets (102) having a first sheet (103) and a second sheet (104) attached to each other; multichannel conduits (105) or a plurality of single channel conduits; multichannel tubes (106), side adhesive tapes (107) and an optional wound contact layer (108). The porous sheet (101) includes a top planar surface (201), thickness (202) and a bottom uneven surface (203). The bottom uneven surface (203) lies on the surface of the wound and may have surface patterns (204). The pattern (204) may be wavy patterns and/or any other regular and/or irregular surface protrusion that allow intermediate gaps between wound surface and the bottom surface (203) of the porous sheet through which fluid can flow over the wound surface.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USING NEGATIVE PRESSURE WOUND THERAPY TO MANAGE OPEN ABDOMINAL WOUNDS
Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to the treatment of wounds using negative pressure. Some embodiments disclosed herein provide for a foam pad, which may be suitable for use in abdominal wound sites, and which may be sized in a dimensionally-independent manner. Additional embodiments provide for a wound contact layer, as well as a system for the treatment of abdominal wounds.

A bandage with a center that elevates over an open wound or desired portion of skin to be covered which forms a dome that has tiny vent holes to allow air inside. The dome allows fresh air to the wound while it is still protected from harmful bacteria, infections, virus' or disease.

A dressing interface for a negative-pressure treatment system includes a housing. The housing includes an entry surface having first channels. The dressing interface also includes a primary conduit through the housing and terminating on the entry surface, an ancillary conduit through the housing and terminating on the entry surface, and a base coupled to the housing. The base includes an aperture, and a plurality of stand-offs having rounded surfaces. The stand-offs defines second channels configured to facilitate flow of liquid to the first channels through the aperture.

In some embodiments, a wound therapy apparatus includes a wound dressing configured to be positioned over a wound, the wound dressing including a substantially stretchable wound contact layer supporting a plurality of electronic components and a plurality of electronic connections that connect at least some of the plurality of the electronic components. The wound contact layer can include a first plurality of flocked fibers positioned on a wound facing side of the wound contact layer, the first plurality of flocked fibers including soft material configured to cushion the wound contact layer when the wound dressing is positioned over the wound. The wound contact layer can include a second plurality of flocked fibers positioned on a non-wound facing side opposite the wound facing side.
BANDAGE STRUCTURE
A bandage structure includes a substrate, an elastic sheet, a plurality of adhesive elements, and a plurality of protective layers. The substrate includes a hollow portion and a plurality of adhesive portions. The hollow portion includes a plurality of first elongated holes that are arranged in one row parallel to a length direction of the substrate. The adhesive portions are located on two sides of the hollow portion and the elastic sheet is located on the substrate. The elastic sheet includes an extension portion and a plurality of attaching portions. The extension portion corresponds in position to the hollow portion and has a plurality of second elongated holes. The second elongated holes are arranged in one row parallel to a length direction of the elastic sheet. The first elongated holes and the second elongated holes are staggered with each other along a length direction of the bandage structure.
