PATIENT SUPPORT APPARATUS COVER
A cover for covering a patient support apparatus cushion includes a top cover layer, a lower cover layer configured to join with the top cover layer for enclosing a cushion there between, and an ePTFE membrane between the top cover layer and the lower cover layer to form a liquid barrier between the top cover layer and the cushion. In one form, the ePTFE membrane is attached to the top cover layer. In another form, the ePTFE membrane is unattached to the top cover layer.
BED SHEET AND ASSOCIATED ASSEMBLY
A bed sheet and securement assembly and a bed sheet and dispenser assembly include an elongate sheet which is one of a plurality of sheets provided in a dispensable roll of separable sheets. The bed sheet and securement assembly include the elongate sheet being adapted to cover an exposed or shared upper surface of a bed and including securement openings and formed adjacent to each of its opposing ends and securement means and adapted to mount to the bed or proximal its opposing ends and arranged for releasable engagement with the elongate sheet via the securement openings and for securement of the elongate sheet to the therapy bed.
UNDERPAD WITH WETNESS INDICATOR
An underpad for covering a patient support structure includes an upper, patient facing surface and a lower, support structure facing surface. The underpad includes a liquid permeable patient facing layer and a liquid impermeable base layer. An absorbent layer is positioned above the base layer and below the patient facing layer, and a tissue layer is positioned above the absorbent layer and below the patient facing layer. An ink is deposited on the tissue layer. The ink is more readily visible through the patient facing layer than through the base layer.
REDUCED ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT TEXTILE PRODUCTS HAVING PEELABLE LAYERS
Provided are protector articles, comprising: a plurality of sheets overlaid one to the next, the plurality of sheets comprising a bottommost sheet, a sheet comprising a comfort face and a barrier face, the comfort face comprising a biodegradable spunlace nonwoven material, the barrier face comprising a water-resistant biodegradable material, and at least one of the plurality of sheets being releasable (e.g., releasably attached) to the article. The articles can be used in bedding, apparel, and furniture.
DISPOSABLE PROTECTION SHEET
A multi-layered disposable protection sheet includes an upper portion and a lower portion including an upper absorbent layer, a middle soaker layer and a lower waterproof backing layer, the lower portion further including a cutout that when lifted, provides an opening to enable compatibility with a child safety belt system.
Disposable absorbent lift device
The present invention relates to a disposable absorbent pad comprising multiple layers. In particular, the absorbent pad of the present invention maintains skin dryness by absorbing moisture while preventing leakage to the skin or the bed linens, allowing air circulation at the surface of the patient's skin to prevent heat buildup, and is strong enough to allow the patient to be repositioned, even when the pad is wet. In a particular embodiment the first layer is comprised of a fluid-permeable, porous material, the second layer is disposed under the first layer and is comprised of at least one super absorbent material, and a base layer disposed under the second layer.
WASHABLE FLUID ABSORBING COMPOSITE MATERIAL
A washable multi-layer composite capable of fluid containment that may be used to protect a surface from liquid infiltration
Portable sanitary staging assembly
A portable sanitary staging assembly is utilized to place an infant or a baby on while changing a diaper, or to stage an injured person or animal, such as for triage or emergency medical treatment in the field, or for a person or animal receiving medical attention outside of a typical medical environment. A portable sanitary staging assembly includes a sanitary paper dispenser assembly having a dispenser/protector tube dimensioned to receive sanitary paper therein, the dispenser/protector tube having a dispenser slot formed through a portion of the dispenser/protector tube to facilitate dispensing the sanitary paper. A sanitary pad assembly having a main sanitary pad is interconnected to a portion of the sanitary paper dispenser assembly. A cutter mechanism is affixed to a portion of the portable sanitary staging assembly to facilitate removal and disposal of soiled sanitary paper after use.
ABSORBENT BED PADS WITH ANTI-SLIP BACKING
Disclosed is a fluid absorbent bed pad suitable for absorbing bodily fluids of a patient. The pad includes a backing layer comprising a first polymeric fiber and a second polymeric fiber, the second polymeric fiber being relatively tacky relative to the first polymeric fiber and being present in said backing layer in an amount relatively smaller than the amount of said first fiber and comprising a bicomponent fiber. The presence of the second polymeric fiber will impart a tacky nature to the backing to resist slipping and bunching of the bed pad.
Intimate Pad
An intimate pad for cathing fluids during sexual encounters. The intimate pad comprises one or more superabsorbent polymer layers and a non-porous material layer fixed together in a rectangular or square shape. Further comprising an optional flash-dry or equivalent technology that may be inserted between a superabsorbent polymer layer and a non-porous layer for extra liquid absorption. Further comprising adhesive placed on the bottom layer capable of temporarily sticking to the desired surface for more effective liquid absorption. Further comprising printed graphics that would be imprinted on one or multiple layers. Further comprising scented particles incorporated into one of the layers as an aphrodisiac. Further comprising a corner of the pad shall be folded in a way for easy open and placement of the pad.
