Water-Degradable Environmentally Friendly Sanitary Napkin
The present disclosure relates to an environmentally friendly sanitary napkin including: a permeable inner sheet configured to come into contact with a skin and allow secretions to pass therethrough; an impermeable waterproof outer sheet having the same size and shape as those of the inner sheet and bonded to the inner sheet by fusion; an absorbent pad fixedly inserted between the inner sheet and the waterproof outer sheet and configured to absorb secretions such as menstrual blood that passes through the inner sheet; and an adhesive pad inserted into an appropriate position between the absorbent pad and the waterproof outer sheet, and provided on the absorbent pad and the lower surface of the waterproof outer sheet, and configured to fix the sanitary napkin by adhesion to the inside of underwear, wherein the inner sheet, the waterproof outer sheet, the absorbent pad and the adhesive pad are degradable in water or are biodegradable.
The environmentally friendly sanitary napkin of the present disclosure is degradable by a large amount of water in a septic tank when flushed down a toilet bowl after use, and is biodegradable in soil, thus preventing environmental pollution problems.
In addition, the environmentally friendly sanitary napkin may exhibit antimicrobial effects against harmful bacteria in the vagina and exhibit an excellent effect on sanitariness by suppressing the generation of odor caused by secretions.
A HYGIENIC ABSORBENT ARTICLE COMPRISING A FASTENING MEMBER
A fastening member for a hygienic absorbent article, such as a diaper, the fastening member including a water-soluble resin, wherein the water-soluble resin dissolves in an aqueous solution having a temperature equal to or above 40 degrees Celsius, wherein the fastening member is disintegrated and/or dissolved at a temperature equal to or above 40 degrees Celsius. A hygienic absorbent article including the fastening member, a method for treating the hygienic absorbent article and/or use of the fastening member for providing a hygienic absorbent article or recyclable disposal bag.
NON-WOVEN FABRIC FOR SANITARY MATERIALS, AND SANITARY MATERIAL PRODUCT
The present invention aims to provide nonwoven fabric for sanitary materials having high water absorbability and high diffusing capacity for liquids such as water and chemicals as well as high bulkiness, flexibility, and anti-see-through property, and also provides sanitary material products produced therefrom including a water absorbing sheet for sanitary napkins. The nonwoven fabric for sanitary materials may comprise nonwoven fabric of polyester based fiber with a flattened multilobar cross section containing 6 or more convex portions along the cross-sectional circumference, the polyester based fiber with a flattened multilobar cross section having a flatness of 2.0 to 3.0, a degree of irregularity of 1.0 to 5.0, and a convex ratio of 0.6 to 0.9, and the polyester based fiber with a flattened multilobar cross section being joined by heat-weldable fiber.
ABSORBENT MEMBER FOR A BODY CLEFT ADAPTED PRODUCT AND PRODUCT WITH SUCH ABSORBENT MEMBER
This invention is an absorbent article and more particularly to an improved absorbent device that is worn in body clefts, in particular interlabially by female wearers for catamenial purposes, incontinence protection, or both and in the anal crease for light faecal incontinence or in the context of haemorrhoids, or underarm sweat-pads.
Absorbent article
In order to absorb a small amount of liquid, to prevent an absorbent article from being disintegrated by the absorbed liquid, and to prevent piping of a toilet from being clogged even if the absorbent article is flushed into a flush toilet, the absorbent article includes a pulp layer containing a crushed pulp or fibers mainly containing a crushed pulp, and the pulp layer has a water repellent surface layer portion formed by applying a water repellent agent to at least one surface layer portion.
Thermoplastic injection molded and flushable tampon applicator
A flushable tampon applicator product includes an outer tube for housing a tampon; an inner tube, at least a portion of which extends into the outer tube, wherein the outer tube includes an outer, body-contacting surface, wherein the inner tube is moveable relative to the outer tube and configured to expel a tampon from the outer tube, and wherein at least one of the outer tube and the inner tube comprises a thermoplastic composition including partially-hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH), polyethylene glycol (PEG), a plasticizer, and a hydrophobic polymeric component, wherein at least one of the outer tube and the inner tube is a molded part; and a wrapper material configured for storage under high and low moisture storage conditions, the wrapper material having a water vapor transmission rate of less than 0.05 g/100 in2/day.
ELASTOMERIC LAMINATE WITH CONTROL LAYER AND METHODS THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to absorbent article incorporating elastomeric laminates that may be formed by stretching and joining an elastic strand with either or both first and second substrates using an adhesive. The elastic strands may be sourced from a wound supply, such as a beam of beamed elastic strands. The beam may be treated with a control layer to reducing blocking when the plurality of elastic strands are on the beam and to provide for reliable unwinding. The control layer may be absorbed into an adhesive once the elastic strands are joined with the first and second substrates with the adhesive to form the elastomeric laminate.
Low friction core-shell nanofibrous membranes for delivery of active ingredients to the wet skin
A membrane for skin comprising a plurality of randomly oriented core-shell nanofibers is provided in the present invention, where each of said core-shell nanofibers comprises at least an active-ingredient-loaded polymeric core and a non-polymeric shell consisting of active ingredients only surrounding the core. Related fabrication method of said membrane is also provided in the present invention.
