Absorbent article having elastic belt
Disclosed is an absorbent article continuous in a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction comprising a front elastic belt region, a back elastic belt region, a crotch region, a waist opening and two leg openings; the front and back elastic belt regions being a laminate comprising an inner sheet made of nonwoven fiber, and an outer sheet made of nonwoven fiber, and a plurality of elastic bodies configured to stretch the front and back elastic belt regions in the transverse direction, the outer sheet having a material caliper of at least about 0.25 mm at 500. Pa; the article further comprising a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet; the absorbent core existing through the entire longitudinal dimension of the crotch region and extending at least partly in the back elastic belt region; the back elastic belt region having a maximum caliper MaxBC and a minimum caliper MinBC according to the measurements herein, wherein the difference between the MaxBC and the MinBC is no greater than about 5 mm.
BOXER-SHORTS-TYPE DISPOSABLE DIAPER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
Provided are disposable diapers that are easy to manufacture. This problem is solved by a boxer-shorts-type disposable diaper including an outer member having ventral and dorsal outer members and a crotch outer member extending therebetween and to be placed through the crotch of a wearer, and an inner member containing an absorber body and joined to the interior face of at least the crotch outer member, wherein the ventral/dorsal outer members are joined in the middle of the width direction in the crotch-side end to the crotch outer member to form ventral/dorsal seams, respectively, the areas extending along the edges of the leg openings in the ventral/dorsal outer members are stretchable in the width direction, and the areas extending along the edges of the leg openings in the crotch outer member are stretchable in the front-back direction.
Disposable floating absorbent core and disposable absorbent assembly including same, and method of making same
An absorbent article is disclosed. The absorbent article includes a core and a chassis. One or more discrete bonding zones bond the core to the chassis, and one or more unbonded zones of the core are not bonded to the chassis, forming a floating core. The core is not elastically coupled with the chassis. A method of making the absorbent article may include selectively bonding the chassis to the core at discrete bonding zones.
ELASTOMERIC LAMINATE WITH SOFT NONCRIMPED SPUNBOND FIBER WEBS
An absorbent article includes a first waist region, a second waist region, and a crotch region disposed between the first and second waist regions. The article also includes a chassis having a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and backsheet; and an ear joined to the chassis. The ear includes a laminate formed from a nonwoven and an elastomeric material sandwiched between said first and second nonwovens. The laminate further includes a plurality of ultrasonic bonds.
Crimped fiber spunbond nonwoven webs/laminates
An article includes a chassis having a topsheet, backsheet and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and backsheet; and an ear joined to the chassis. The ear includes a ring-rolled laminate having a first nonwoven web and an elastomeric film; wherein the first nonwoven web has a crimped spunbond fiber nonwoven web.
