A pet diaper includes: a top sheet; a back-surface sheet; an absorbent core disposed between the top sheet and the back-surface sheet; a tail hole portion including a hole body through which a tail of a pet is inserted; and an upright leak-proof gather including a rising portion including a contraction portion in which a leak-proof elastic member is disposed in a stretched state in a longitudinal direction, and a lateral fixed portion that is disposed away from the rising portion toward a lateral outer side and that functions as a rising fulcrum of the rising portion. The tail hole portion is disposed at a position that is away from an end edge of the absorbent core on the rear side toward the rear side. The contraction portion is disposed straddling a region between the tail hole portion and the absorbent core.

A disposable absorbent pant configured for management of menstrual discharge or incontinence is disclosed. The pant may include a pocket structure joined with the pant structure, defining a pocket opening and an enveloped space therewithin, the pocket structure being configured such that at least a portion thereof defining the enveloped space is elastic.

An array of packages may comprise two or more different sizes of disposable absorbent articles. The second absorbent article may have a larger Relaxed Product Side Length than the first absorbent article and/or a larger Relaxed Product Length than the first absorbent article.

In one embodiment, an array of packages may comprise two or more different sizes of disposable absorbent articles. The Product Waist-to-Side Silhouette of a second absorbent article may be equal to or greater than a Product Waist-to-Side Silhouette of a first absorbent article. And, an Array Average Product Waist-to-Side Silhouette of first and second packages of the array may be from about 1.7 to about 6.0.

In one embodiment, an array of packages may comprise two or more different sizes of disposable absorbent articles. The Product Waist-to-Side Silhouette of a second absorbent article may be equal to or greater than a Product Waist-to-Side Silhouette of a first absorbent article. And, an Array Average Product Waist-to-Side Silhouette of first and second packages of the array may be from about 1.7 to about 6.0.

Absorbent articles that include elastics in multiple layers are disclosed herein.

An absorbent article has a liquid-permeable front surface sheet, a liquid-impermeable back surface sheet, and an absorber disposed between the front surface sheet and the back surface sheet. The absorbent article includes a groove portion entirely or partly composed of a recessed portion, the recessed portion being formed on the front surface sheet side of the absorbent article by integrally joining the front surface sheet and the absorber together, and a flat portion enclosed by the groove portion. A diameter of a maximum inscribed circle inscribed in the flat portion is at least five times and at most 20 times as large as a width of the groove portion along a radial direction of the maximum inscribed circle.

A liquid-absorbent disposable male brief, including a brief defining an elastic waistband, a pair of elastic leg bands, and an enclosure extending there between, a fly formed through the enclosure and positioned between the leg bands and defining a first flap and a second flap, a liquid absorbent pad positioned within the enclosure and secured thereto, and at least a first and a second liquid absorbent fly flap liner, each respective fly flap liner operationally connected to a respective flap.

A disposable absorbent article includes a bodyside liner, an outer cover, an absorbent body disposed between the liner and the outer cover, a front waist region, a back waist region, a crotch region extending between and interconnecting the front and back waist regions, and a tear away section configured to be torn from the absorbent article when at least a threshold force is applied to the tear away section. The front and back waist regions are attached to each other by side panels at least partially defining leg openings and a waist opening of the absorbent article. The tear away section extends from the waist opening to a respective leg opening and is defined by at least one line of weakness. The tear away section has a tear strength greater than the threshold force.

Pant-like absorbent articles having handles on side panels of the article for ease of removal and donning of the absorbent garment and a method for forming is disclosed herein. The article includes a front waist region, a back waist region, and a chassis extending longitudinally between and interconnecting the front and back waist regions attached by at least one side panel. Formed within the side panel is at least one handle. The handle includes a slit formed through the side panel, the slit extending in both the longitudinal and lateral direction to provide a flap material. The flap material is folded towards the waist edge of the side panel to provide an aperture in the side panel.
