PROTECTIVE UNDERGARMENT
An undergarment configured to help absorb leaks of bodily fluids from a person suffering from mild to moderate incontinence or other conditions includes a main body made of a material that allows the absorption of bodily fluids and a crotch piece made of a material that allows the absorption of bodily fluids that overlays the crotch portion of the main body. The crotch piece of the undergarment can extend high enough and be wide enough on the front side of the garment's main body so as to offer an adequate area of protection to the user.
Cloth diaper with adjustment features
This disclosure provides systems and methods for an adjustable reusable diaper. Some systems include a reusable diaper including a sealing apparatus configured keep fluid sealed within the diaper. The sealing apparatus may include one or more elastic members and one or more gussets where one elastic member is threaded through channels of the one or more gussets. Some systems include a reusable diaper and one or more soaker pads configured to be attachable to the reusable diaper. The soaker pads may be of varying sizes and shapes and can be selectively attached to the reusable diaper to effect different absorption volumes and patterns within the diaper. The soaker pads may be received in one or more pockets of the reusable diaper. Some systems include one or more openings to a pocket to allow a user to more efficiently attach and position one or more soaker pads in a reusable diaper.
REPLACEABLE ABSORBENT DIAPER CHANNEL FOR USE AS A MULTIPLIER WITH SINGLE-USE DISPOSABLE DIAPERS OR RE-USABLE RECYCLABLE OUTER SHELL
A multi-piece diapering system is based on a removable, disposable absorbent channel insert diaper having hydrophobic interior leg gathers and a water impermeable backer, but without waist tabs or bands or elastic to secure the channel to the user and optionally without leg cuffs. The absorbent channel insert may be used in a single-use disposable diaper to allow such disposable diaper to be re-used multiple times by replacing the channel insert diaper when soiled. The absorbent channel insert diaper may also be used with underwear as the supporting shell, or with other exterior diaper shells or base layer diapers.
Absorbent incontinence article having a diaper cover and absorption insert
The application relates to an absorbent disposable incontinence diaper (2, 2a) of the open type having an at least three-part diaper cover (3) with an inner side (30) and an outer side (31), the diaper cover comprising a main part (4) and at least two separate rear side parts (16). The main part (4) has a front region (6), a rear region (8) and a crotch region (12), which lies therebetween in the longitudinal direction (21) and comes to lie between the legs of a user. The rear side parts (16) are arranged on both sides of the rear region (8) of the main part (4) in such a manner that said rear side parts (16) are fixed in first overlap regions (40) with the outer side thereof on the inner side of the main part (4) along rear, lateral longitudinal edges (20). The rear side parts (16) extend in the transverse direction (22) over the rear lateral longitudinal edges (20) of the main part (4) and have closure means (10). The main part (4) and the rear side parts (16) comprise a nonwoven material or are made therefrom. The diaper cover (3) extends continuously over a length L1 from a front end (33) of the diaper cover (3) via the crotch region (12) to a rear end (34) of the diaper cover (3). An absorption insert (5) having an inner side and an outer side is arranged on the inner side (30) of the diaper cover (3), the absorption insert (5) comprising a liquid-impermeable back sheet (62) and a top sheet (64), between which an absorption body (7) is arranged. The absorption insert (5) extends into the first overlap regions (40) and is fixed there at least in some sections with the outer side thereof on the diaper cover (3). The absorption insert (5) has a length L2, where L2<L1.
