ABSORBENT ARTICLE
The present invention is intended to improve the liquid diffusibility and fit of an absorber having a first slit extending in a front-back direction and second slits continuing laterally from the first slit to the side edges. The foregoing issue is solved by providing one first slit extending in the front-back direction in a width-direction intermediate portion of an absorber, providing second slits continuing from each of front end side and back end side of the first slit toward width-direction both sides to the side edges, and providing second slit elastic members to cross in the direction of continuance of the second slits and exert a contraction force in the direction of closing of the second slits.
DISPOSABLE ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH PROFILED ABSORBENT CORE
A disposable absorbent article has a central body defining a first waist end region including a first end edge, a second waist end region spaced longitudinally from the first waist end region and including a second end edge, and a crotch region positioned therebetween. An absorbent core is situated between the end edges, and includes a plurality of elastics incorporated therewith such that the core is substantially lat-erally contracted in a narrowed region about the elastics. The absorbent core includes at least one end region that is sub-stantially non-elasticized and has a lateral width substantially wider than that of the narrowed region.
ABSORBENT CORES COMPRISING FOAM MATERIAL
The present invention relates to absorbent cores for use in absorbent articles, preferably of the disposable personal hygiene type. It discloses absorbent cores comprising a foam layer incorporating a nonwoven fabric and having a top surface and a bottom surface, said foam layer top surface comprising one or more indented compressed portions and one or more raised non-compressed portions. The foam layer has openings extending through the foam and the nonwoven fabric. The absorbent core further comprises, joined to the bottom surface of the foam layer, a nonwoven comprising superabsorbent polymers. Absorbent cores of the present invention provide a fast acquisition of body exudates and a good liquid retention capacity. This is further achieved in a simple and cost-effective way without complex and considerable foam formulation and processing requirements.
Absorbent article with dual core
An absorbent article. The absorbent article includes a topsheet having a body contacting surface, a backsheet joined to said topsheet, and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet, wherein the absorbent core has an upper layer and a lower layer.

Disposable absorbent article with profiled absorbent core
A disposable absorbent article has a central body defining a first waist end region including a first end edge, a second waist end region spaced longitudinally from the first waist end region and including a second end edge, and a crotch region positioned therebetween. An absorbent core is situated between the end edges, and includes a plurality of elastics incorporated therewith such that the core is substantially laterally contracted in a narrowed region about the elastics. Absorbent product comprising foam material
An absorbent product includes a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, and an absorbent core enclosed between the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent core includes an absorbent fibrous layer, a liquid inlet foam layer, and a carrier layer, in which a transversally central region is arranged in the liquid inlet foam layer. The transversally central region extends along the entire longitudinal length of the absorbent core and includes a plurality of slits arranged in a pattern, wherein the slits are dilated slit openings in a part of the central region within an intermediate portion of the absorbent core, and the slits are non-dilated slits in parts of said central region within one or both of front and rear portions of the absorbent core.
