A diaper structure with enhanced softness attributes is disclosed. The diaper structure may include an innermost layer formed of a first nonwoven web, and an outermost layer formed of a second nonwoven web. The first and second nonwoven webs may have a combined basis weight of at least about 30 gsm. The ratio of the first web basis weight to the second web basis weight may range from 30/70 to 70/30.

Layered Fibrous Structures with Different Planar Layers

Layered, and optionally dispersible fibrous structures containing two or more layers that exhibit different planar characteristics, sanitary tissue products employing such layered, optionally dispersible fibrous structures, and methods for making same are provided.

Absorbent structure with stratified distribution layer

An absorbent structure including a distribution layer and a storage layer is disclosed. The distribution layer has two or more stratums. The two or more stratums include a body facing stratum and a subsequent stratum below the body facing stratum. The density of the subsequent stratum is a fraction of the density of the body facing stratum and the porosity of the subsequent stratum is a multiple of the body facing stratum porosity.

ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH AN INTERMEDIATE LAYER COMPRISING CHANNELS AND BACK POCKET

An absorbent article for personal hygiene has a fibrous intermediate layer between the topsheet and the absorbent core. The intermediate layer may include a first and second longitudinally-extending channels on opposite side of the longitudinal axis which are connected to a back pocket so that they together form a unitary area substantially free of fibrous material. The intermediate layer may further include a central area comprising fibrous material between the channels and the unitary area may be completely surrounded by the fibrous material.

FEMININE HYGIENE PAD WITH FOAM ABSORBENT LAYER COMPONENT AND IMPROVED BODY CONFORMITY

A feminine hygiene pad comprises a liquid-permeable topsheet, a liquid-impermeable backsheet, and an absorbent layer disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent layer comprises a layer of open-celled foam comprising an arrangement of macro-voids therein. The arrangement of macro-voids defines paths that lie along an x-y planar surface of the layer of open-celled foam and comprise left and right forward path legs disposed predominantly forward of the lateral axis.
