ABSORBENT ARTICLES INCLUDING A WAIST PANEL WITH A FRANGIBLE BOND

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to absorbent articles with waist panels including frangible bonds, wherein a waist panel may be connected with a chassis and positioned in a front or back waist region. A first region of the waist panel is bonded with the chassis and extends laterally adjacent an outboard lateral edge of the waist panel, and at least a portion of an inboard lateral edge of the waist panel is unattached to the chassis so as to form a pocket during use. The waist panel is also releasably bonded with the chassis with a frangible bond positioned on the inboard lateral edge of the waist panel and/or longitudinally between the inboard lateral edge of the waist panel and the first region. The frangible bond may be an adhesive and/or mechanical bond and may be configured to break during production or during normal use of the absorbent article.

ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH CLOSURE MECHANISM

Embodiments relate to an absorbent pant that includes longitudinally opposing first and second waist regions and a crotch region between the first and second waist regions. Longitudinally opposing first and second waist panels are disposed in the first and second waist regions and connect to form a waist opening and a pair of leg apertures. A fastening zone area is disposed on at least one surface of the absorbent pant. In a wrapped configuration, at least one of the waist panels is configured to be laterally folded inward to engage the fastening zone area such that at least one of the leg apertures is at least partially sealed.

Absorbent article

An absorbent article including a front waist portion, a back waist portion, and a crotch portion. An end portion of the back waist portion on an other side in the lateral direction is joined by a second joining portion to a fastening member, and the fastening member has a fastening portion being capable of being fastened to the front waist portion when putting on the absorbent article. While the front waist portion and the back waist portion are being stretched in the lateral direction, the lateral distance of the front waist portion from the lateral center of the absorbent main body to a lateral end of the front waist portion on the other side is smaller than the lateral distance of the back waist portion from the lateral center of absorbent main body to a lateral end of the back waist portion on the other side.

An absorbent article comprises a front waist region, a back waist region, a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, and an absorbent core positioned at least partially intermediate the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent core may comprise an absorbent material. The absorbent article may comprise a pair of back ears in the back waist region and a pair of front ears in the front waist region. The front ears may comprise a pattern. The pattern may comprise three-dimensional features and/or visually distinguishable zones.

Disposable incontinence diaper

The invention relates to a disposable incontinence diaper, with a main part (4) comprising a front region (12) a rear region (16) with rear lateral longitudinal edges (18), and rear side portions (22) attached on both sides to the rear region (16), which can be placed in a circumferential direction around the body of a user in order to apply and close the disposable incontinence diaper (2) on the user, and wherein the rear side portions (22) have an extent Q in the transverse direction (10) in the state when spread out flat but not stretched, and which are elastically extensible within this extent Q in the transverse direction (10).

TAPE-TYPE DISPOSABLE DIAPER

A diaper is configured to prevent a projecting section from being folded between the diaper and the skin. Lower edges of a wing part have a wavy portion having a plurality of outwardly bulging peaks. A side elastic member is on the width direction center side of the wing part in the side flap portion. A flat gather is contracted in the front-back direction by the side elastic member. An overlapping range is provided where a front-back direction range in which contraction force of the side elastic member acts and part of a front-back direction range of the wavy portion overlap, the maximum elongation of the flat gather is 150 to 350%, the width direction interval between the side elastic member and the wavy portion in the overlapping range is 15 to 50 mm at the maximum and 5 to 20 mm at the minimum.

Absorbent article having an improved fastening system and a method to manufacture such absorbent article

An absorbent article includes a first body portion, a second body portion and a crotch portion located between the first body portion and the second body portion. At least one of the first body portion or the second body portion includes at least one side panel having a multilayered portion. The multilayered portion includes at least a first layer and a second layer. The multilayered portion is obtained by folding the at least one side panel. The first and the second layer of the multilayered portion are connected to each other and the multilayered portion is provided with surface protrusions at one surface of the multilayered portion. The surface protrusions are integrally made of material of the multilayered portion. Furthermore, the disclosure relates to manufacturing such an absorbent article.

Methods and apparatus for application of nested zero waste ear to traveling web

The present invention provides a method of providing a disposable product with a contoured leg opening. In this method at least one chip is removed from at least one ear of a disposable product. The chip may be removed from an ear prior to attaching the ear to the chassis web. Alternatively, the chip may be removed from the ear after the ear is attached to the chassis web.

ABSORBENT PANTS HAVING A WAISTBAND WITH A REAR POCKET

An absorbent garment that includes a longitudinal axis and a lateral axis. The absorbent garment is a pant that includes a front region, a back region and a crotch region, with the crotch region being disposed between the front region and the back region. The crotch region is formed by an absorbent assembly. In addition to the absorbent assembly, the garment includes a front panel and a back panel; the front panel is attached to a front region of the absorbent assembly and the back panel is attached to a back region of the absorbent assembly. The front panel and the back panel are bonded to each other to form the lateral side seams of the garment. The garment also includes a pocket at the back waist of the pant that is formed, in part, by a folded over portion of the back panel. The pocket includes a fluid barrier.

A disposable diaper includes side flaps; pieces of fastening tape respectively arranged on widthwise side portions of the side flaps; and joining portions each of which joins a portion of each piece of the fastening tape to a non-skin side of the side flaps in the thickness direction. In an unfolded state, for each of the pieces of fastening tape, a magnitude of force applied at a time when the joining portion is peeled off when a region of the fastening tape that is outward in the width direction with respect to the joining portion is pulled in an outward direction is greater than a minimum value of an magnitude of force applied at a time when the joining portion is peeled off when a region of the fastening tape that is inward with respect to the joining portion is pulled in any outward direction.
