Inflatable penile prosthesis with guides in valve of pump assembly
An inflatable penile prosthesis can comprise a reservoir, an inflatable member, and a pump assembly. The pump assembly can include at least one valve comprising an entry tube interface configured to attach to the entry tube and defining an entry passageway, an entry portion adjacent to the entry tube interface, a middle portion adjacent to the entry portion, an exit portion adjacent to the middle portion, the exit portion being narrower than the middle portion, the exit portion defining an exit portion passageway and comprising multiple guides extending toward a longitudinal exit axis, the multiple guides being symmetrical about the longitudinal exit axis, the exit tube interface adjacent to the exit portion, and a poppet disposed inside the chamber, the poppet being biased to rest against the entry portion.
Smart earmuff and method for improved use of an earmuff
An acoustic earmuff device comprising a pair of earmuff cup assemblies such that each is configured to be arranged at a location proximate to an ear of an user, wherein each earmuff cup assembly comprises means (320) for adapting a pressure applied to the location proximate to the ear so that the pressure around the ear is evenly distributed and a even seal is achieved, wherein the means for adapting a pressure comprises an adaptive layer (324) that is configured to apply the pressure around the ear evenly regardless whether that location comprises any protruding element (2).
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR EAR PROTECTION AND ENHANCEMENT
Apparatus for protection of the ear and ear canal, and related methods of use and operation. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes a selectively actuated valve which permits a varying or modulated size of aperture to be created by the wearer while the apparatus is in use, so as to accommodate varying functions, such as complete occlusion (e.g., for use in swimming or other acquatic activities such that water can be completely excluded) or partial occlusion (e.g., such that sounds can be heard by the wearer, whether in air or under water). In one implementation, the apparatus is retained within the ear canal of the wearer by virtue of the apparatus' shape and coordination with one or more natural features or contours of the anatomy in the ear region, without having to be inserted more than superficially into the outer portion of the ear canal.

INFLATABLE PENILE PROSTHESIS WITH CHANNELS IN VALVE OF GUIDE ASSEMBLY
An inflatable penile prosthesis can include, a reservoir, an inflatable member and a pump assembly. The pump assembly can include at least one valve comprising an entry portion, a middle portion, an exit portion, and exit tube interface, and a valve member. The exit portion can include a first landing portion including an interior portion, the interior portion of the first landing portion being semicircular about a longitudinal exit axis, the longitudinal exit axis extending through a center of the exit portion parallel to a direction that an exit tube interface extends from the exit portion, and a first channel portion adjacent to the first landing portion and including an interior portion, the interior portion of the first channel portion being farther from the longitudinal exit axis than the interior portion of the first landing portion.

Tethering System For A Prosthetic Heart Valve
According to one aspect of the disclosure, a system may include a surgical prosthetic heart valve having a frame, prosthetic leaflets within the frame configured to allow blood to flow through the frame in an antegrade direction but to substantially block blood from flowing through the frame in a retrograde direction, and a cuff configured to be sutured to a native valve annulus of a heart of a patient. The system may include a valve tether having a first end configured to be coupled to the surgical prosthetic heart valve, and an anchor configured to be secured to a ventricular apex of the heart of the patient. The valve tether may include a second end opposite the first end, the second end configured to be operably coupled to the anchor.
Inelastic noiseless air bag in a breast implant
An implantable device includes a first sealed flexible shell configured for implantation within a breast of a human subject, an elastic filler material contained within the first sealed flexible shell, and a second sealed flexible, inelastic shell, which is disposed within the elastic filler material inside the first sealed flexible shell and is inflated with a volume of gas. The second shell includes a material selected such that a root-mean-square (RMS) sound pressure caused by a deformation of the second shell not exceeding 50 mm does not exceed 20 micro-Pascals.
