An endoscopy sigmoid support apparatus that includes a primary wrap sized for placement around a subject's lower abdomen. A closing mechanism is provided at the end of the primary wrap to secure the primary wrap around the abdomen of the subject by attaching a first end of the primary wrap to a second portion of the primary wrap. A strap extends from the primary wrap and is configured to extend across at least a portion of the primary wrap and to fasten to a third portion of the primary wrap to adjust the amount of pressure applied by the endoscopy sigmoid support apparatus.

A device (10) for externally applying a local compressive force below the costal arch (R) of a patient for reducing the stomach volume, comprising—an elastic belt (10) that is placeable, under tensile stress, around the upper body of a patient in the area of the costal arch (R), and—a pressure body (24) that is attachable to the elastic belt (12) and designed in such a way that the pressure body exerts a compressive force on the stomach inside the patient according to the tensile stress of the elastic belt (12), wherein the geometry of the pressure body (24) is adapted to the anatomy of the human costal arch and fits snugly therein.

A method and apparatus for applying pressure to the abdomen of a patient to facilitate the insertion of a colonoscope is characterized by the use of a tensile compression device in the form of an elastic band which is wrapped around the patient's abdomen and secured in place. The tension of the band is adjusted to apply a desired degree of pressure to the patient's abdomen to reduce loops in the patient's colon so that the colonoscope can be fully inserted into the colon with minimal discomfort to the patient. The ends of the device are connected together when the desired degree of tension is obtained so that constant pressure and support are provided to the patient's colon. Addition pressure can be manually applied simultaneously with the pressure from the tensile device to reduce or eliminate more distal loops in the colon.

The present disclosure reveals pants with an attached wrap for weight loss and toning one's body. The wrap being comprised of an elastic, solid material that is non-absorbent such as but not limited to neoprene or sponge neoprene. The wrap may further comprise an absorbent band to absorb perspiration.

An endoscopy support apparatus that includes a primary wrap sized for placement around a subject's lower abdomen. At least one elastic strap extends from the primary wrap and is configured to extend across at least a portion of the primary wrap and to fasten to a third portion of the primary wrap to adjust the amount of pressure applied by the endoscopy support apparatus. The endoscopy support apparatus includes at least one visual indicator provided on the primary wrap or the at least one elastic strap that indicates placement of the endoscopy support apparatus relative to the subject or adjustment of the at least one elastic strap.

A compression plate for compressing a suprapubic region of a user. The compression plate can include a base portion and an upper portion positioned above the base portion. The upper portion can include a left-side upper arm, a right-side upper arm, and a notch positioned between the left- and right-side upper arms. The notch can be configured to receive a penis of the user. The base portion and the upper portion can be contoured to apply pressure to and compress the suprapubic region of the user such that a measurable, visible, or usable length of the penis is increased.
