A perineal bandage for preventing and treating tears that occur during childbirth. The perineal bandage may comprise a flexible bandage comprising a first side and a second side, wherein the second side comprises an adhesive configured to adhere the bandage to the skin of a patient. The perineal bandage may further include a plurality of tearing zones that tear before the bandage. The perineal bandage may further include a reinforced region disposed along a portion of a bottom edge of the bandage, wherein the reinforced region requires a greater amount of force to tear than the bandage and the tearing zones.

A perianal support device includes a central support element with an apex having a continuous contact surface along the apex to interface with a patient's perianal tissue. Compression elements extend laterally away from each apex side of the central support element. Each compression element may have a narrower proximal end to the central support element and a wider distal end, and be flexible to bend to the gluteal cleft anatomy. The surface of each compression element that faces the patient in use may be covered, at least partially, with a loop material on the wider distal end. Each compression element may also have the opposite surface covered, at least partially, with foam. The central support element and compression elements may be integrally formed. A gripping tab is also provided at a distal end of each compression element, providing an easy location for medical staff to grasp for placement and removal.

The product optionally includes adhesive to secure the device in place. The product may include a cavity for positioning over hemorrhoidal tissue to provide pressure adjustment, and may also include at least one nub for selectively applying and/or adjusting pressure to areas. The product may include a trapezoidal, or other, cross-section for easier fit, as well as a split end for adherence to multiple gluteal cheeks and anatomy in the relevant area.

Undergarment provides gradual mechanical realignment and pain relief for injury to the coccyx resulting in coccydynia. Customized modular pads provide the user with variable compression, particularly underneath the buttocks and surrounding region while sitting.

A rectocele device having an inflatable balloon and extendable armature inside of the balloon as the balloon expands provides added stability when used to push on a rectocele. More specifically, a rectocele handle can include a rectocele paddle, which can extend in length, and balloon combination extending from the handle. The paddle, generally comprised by a piston and piston housing, can increase its length by way of a piston extending in and out of the piston housing. When the rectocele paddle and balloon combination is deployed in a vagina, to push on the rectocele, the balloon is inflated which causes the piston to extend from the piston housing with the balloon inflation. The piston and piston housing paddle provide stability for the inflated balloon.

Anorectal diagnostic procedures are oftentimes carried out with the patient laying in the left decubitus position, which leads to non-representative response to test maneuvers due to the unnatural position and patient anxiety. Devices spanning, or fastened on, the interglutial cleft of a patient allow for a more natural patient position and eliminate non-representative responses.

A device for sealing a colon, and for removing stool therefrom by irrigation, comprising an expandable intrarectal balloon segment formed from an everted tube with two ends, for insertion into the rectum to anchor the device, and a tapered transanal segment adapted to remain at least partially outside the rectum during use, wherein the balloon segment and the transanal segment have no common compartment, wherein both segments comprise drainage parts with a drainage lumen for irrigation of stool from the patient, wherein one of the two ends of the everted tube is passed through the lumen of the intrarectal balloon segment as an inner layer, the inner layer being in contact with a funnel element, and wherein the transanal segment is adapted to collapse upon resting of the sphincter, and comprises part of the intrarectal balloon segment, or a different balloon element.
