The funnel portion facilitates flow of the urine to exit the device through an outlet opening of the funnel portion. Also disclosed are assemblies, kits and methods, incorporating the device in connection with additional components to enable a female wearer to urinate, in a sanitary manner, without disrobing, e.g., while standing, kneeling or in a similar position that would not obstruct the flow of urine.

OSTOMY OUTPUT DIVERSION DEVICE

An ostomy output diversion device is used to cover and seal closely around a patient's stoma, to divert stoma effluent output through the device, into a container or reservoir, temporarily eliminating the need of an adhesive-based ostomy pouching system. The ostomy output diversion device is placed over the person's stoma, with the base ring surrounding the peristomal skin, the adjustable inner tube is retracted until the base ring is centered over the stoma, the body support strap is then placed over the device to secure it to the patient's body, the inner tube is then extended over the stoma, the patient applies the desired pressure against the skin, then secures the inner tube in place with the pressure adjustment lock. The device may also include an ostomy pouch mounting ring for attachment to an ostomy pouch, and a disposable receptacle.

No slip condom catheter

A urinary catheter device is disclosed that uses a condom that is placed over the penis and connects to a tube that leads to a collection bag or container. To maintain the condom on the penis, the device includes a hinged sleeve that is placed over the condom on the shaft of the penis and prevents slipping. The sleeve is held in place by an elastic band, and the dry frictional contact between the condom, the sleeve, and the patient has been found to prevent the catheter device from slipping off the patient.

The method includes the steps of positioning the condom catheter on the user, applying the lower end of the first adhesive body onto a front side of the condom catheter below a flange, applying the upper end of the first adhesive body onto a front side of the penile shaft above the flange so that the central area of the first adhesive body is adjacent to the flange. The second adhesive body is applied similarly.
