Various implementations include neonatal transport apparatuses and systems employing such apparatuses. In one particular implementation, an apparatus includes: an isolation stage; a first mount on a first portion of the isolation stage, the first mount configured to engage a mounting frame of a neonatal transport unit; a second mount on a second portion of the isolation stage, the second mount configured to engage a stretcher; and a stabilizing coupler extending from the second portion of the isolation stage, the stabilizing coupler positioned to directly couple the isolation stage with a floor underlying the stretcher.

Thermotherapy device

A heat therapy appliance for treatment of neonates has a lying surface on a platform bordered by side walls, a hood movable between a closed incubator position, bearing on the side walls and covering the lying surface, and an open nursing care position, a radiant heater secured on the appliance structure and directed at the lying surface, lifting devices acting on the platform, and a control device actuating the lifting devices to adjustably set an angle of inclination of the platform with respect to the horizontal. The platform is mounted so as to be adjustable in height. The control device also actuates the lifting devices in the same direction, to adjust the vertical position of the platform with respect to the side walls between a first position and a second position higher than the first position.

TRANSFER TRAY AND PRIMING CART FOR NEONATAL CANNULATION AND RELATED METHODS

Priming carts, transfer trays, priming circuits, blood circuits, and related methods are disclosed. A transfer tray for receiving a neonate comprises a body and a movable support assembly. The body has a first portion to receive a neonatal chamber assembly with a neonate therein and a second portion to receive a blood circuit. The blood circuit includes an oxygenator, a first conduit for transfer of blood from the neonate to the oxygenator, and a second conduit for transfer of blood from the oxygenator to the neonate. The movable support assembly is affixed to the body of the tray and is configured to receive the blood circuit. When the neonate is disposed on the first portion and is in liquid communication with the blood circuit, the transfer tray is movable from a first position on a first surface to a second position on a second surface.

Incubator with buffer

A bed is stably mounted on a body when located at a first position. The bed is mounted on the body via buffering members so that the buffering members absorb and prevent vibration and shock from being transmitted from the body to the bed, when located at the second position.

INCUBATOR WITH BUFFER

A bed 10 is stably mounted on the body 2 when located at a first position. The bed 10 is mounted on the body 2 via buffering members 18a and 18b so that the buffering members 18a and 18b absorbs and prevents vibration and shock from transmitting from the body 2 to the bed 10, when located at the second position.

Infant care device including predictive failure side panels

An infant care device that can include a failure indicating feature in one or more of the side panels to discourage improper use of the side panels to move the infant care device. When a side panels is used to move the infant care device and a force greater than a pre-determined maximum is applied to the side panel, the failure indicting feature indicates such improper use. The failure indicating feature is designed to provide an indication at a level of force that is less than the level of force that would damage the hinge and latch assembly holding the side panel. The failure indicating feature can provide a physical indication or a visual indication when a force greater than a predetermined maximum is applied to the side panel.

An incubator includes a patient compartment, a support structure, a patient table coupled to the support structure, an RF coil selectively coupled to the support structure, the RF coil including a receiver arranged along a peripheral edge of the RF coil, and a hood selectively coupled to one of the support structure or the patient table and configured to engage the receiver. When the hood is engaged with the receiver a volume of the hood and a volume of the RF coil merge together.
